The issue is with the owner and the fact that none of us loyal and long term patients were notified that this business has relocated. I have been going to a different dentist with my kids, and then given a very expensive treatment plan with one of my kid's last visit for two tiny cavities. When asked the kid's dental place about the costs and why it's so high, that was when they told me that my plan was out of network for them. This prompted me to look for a new dentist, and I found Brea Dental Arts. When I initially called to inquire, right off the bat, Isabelle was very helpful and explained the benefits well. She was also able to schedule my 6-year-old in to see Dr. Rony Huang within a few days. Dr. Huang was great with my son, and he made the treatment very painless! Not to mention, the cost was less than 1/10th from what the kid's dentist place quoted! I returned a week later for my own cleaning, and the entire staff at Brea Dental Arts was wonderful. They were patient and kind, and Dr. Huang made my Cleaning a breeze! I noticed a chipped front tooth and asked Dr. Huang about it, he filled it for me and made it look good as new, even with a composite that easily match my own tooth color. I highly recommend this place! I'll be bringing my whole family here from now on. read more

Isabel was rude and insulting and chastised me because I didn't know what was covered under my insurance. She ignored anything I had to say and was pushy, I felt like I was talking to a high pressure car salesman. Isabel needs sensativty training and learn some empathy and compassion. It's obvious she's all about how much money she can squeeze out of people and from her actions she must be on commission. read more

Quick, efficient dentist office that I've never really had any problems at. I have Safeguard Dental insurance and they take it here. The office is clean and they have big TV's in each patient room that you can watch as you're getting your teeth cleaned. Nobody in this office is particularly friendly or sociable though. We just moved to Brea and wanted to find a dentist right away. I tried calling a few other dentists in the area who either never called me back or put me on hold for too long that I just hung up. The office is very clean and modern and their technology is up to date and current. X-Rays are done quick and they have flatscreen TVs on the wall for you to watch while you wait. The dentists are all nice and very informative - they like to show you a before and after of any areas that need extra attention which I think is great. My best friend referred me to Dr. Zangle and I am thrilled to have found such a skilled, gentle dentist that I TRUST! She listens to my needs, is attentive, explains what my options are and allows me to make the decisions about how to prioritize my MANY dental needs. Her staff is always kind and courteous, and I have found the cost of Brea Dental Arts services to be extremely reasonable (actually much lower--but don't tell them, LOL). I've had years of painful dental experiences from (what I now realize) were dishonest, financially motivated dentists who used scare tactics that I fell for (over $40,000 worth with no dental insurance). Dr. Zangle has different priorities, as your care is most important. I give my HIGHEST recommendation for Dr. Zangle. (I only wish I had known about her before my years of bad dental experiences, as my financial and dental health would have been so much better. Thrilled to know that I am in good hands now. Today Isabel called me to let me know she had dropped the ball on my referral and did not submit it correctly. Because I expressed dissatisfaction in the way I was treated this summer regarding the referral process, she retaliated and said that the their doctor's office will no longer assist me. I've been going to this dentist for 2 years and have never received such unprofessional treatment until this summer. I hope the fact that my HMO policy has nothing to do with it. Brea Dental Arts informed me of a bone disease on June 24, 2013! I was told that they were going to refer me to a periodontist who comes to their office once a month. Fast forward to August 12, 2013 and I have not received any updates on the referral. When I called Isabel on Friday August 9, she stated she would call to find out what happened but she got tired of waiting on hold with Delta Dental and she called me back and told me that I had to call myself. What? I was told to call the insurance myself to find out what happened. I called Dental Dental on August 12, 2013 and I was told that Brea Dental Arts submitted the referral wrong and they were told this information back in June. So the office manager purposely did not submit my referral out of retaliation for complaining about the deep cleaning. I even called Isabel the second week of July to check on the referral and she said it takes 6 weeks...a statement Delta Dental denies. Bottom line, this office has my X-rays and they have to finish what they started per Delta Dental. What a horrific summer with Brea Dental Arts!! The doctors are good but they need to get rid of Isabel. She's unprofessional and is a definite liability. read more

I think the dentist is ok here,clinic is very cost driven! I have HMO and its almost impossible to schedule an urgent appointment. Receptionist is not the most pleasant. For minor dental problem this is a so so clinic but you you want a good thought out treatment plan for your teeth, would need to go else where. read more

I like how he explains everything he does, and makes you feel comfortable. His staff is also very friendly and professional. It is SO hard to find a good dentist. Thankfully after a really bad experience at another Brea dentistry I found this gem. Everyone is very helpful and nice and quick! My last cleaning took a total of 30 min from the moment I entered the door. I was very impressed. What kept me coming back is the fact that they do not up-sale you or tell you something is wrong when its not.
