This is the hipster hangout for North Bend for sure! :) High-quality ingredients. You can get a delicious coffee beverage, or even an alcoholic beverage. Wonderful salads, sandwiches, and pizzas. They even have Jell-O shots that they serve on China with a gold spoon. I love it here. read more

My friends and I stopped by Bread & Bone to get coffee on our roadtrip to Leavenworth and we had a really pleasant experience. On the rainy morning that we stopped by, there was only one other party in the cafe having breakfast and playing board games. The woman who greeted us behind the counter was warm and friendly. If you enjoy flavored lattes, there are plenty of options here. They even have alcoholic flavorings they can add in -- think Bailey's, to spice up your drink if you're looking to jump start your morning in a different kind of way. I ended up being boring and got an oat milk cappuccino. The espresso in my drink was strong and the oat milk was frothed nicely. In addition to my drink, I also ordered a spinach topped brioche bun, which tasted great warmed up; the brioche was nice and fluffy. If you're looking for a place to sit down for a bit to get some work done, this would also be a great place to go, with plenty of seating available and free Wi-Fi. For the friendly service alone, I would 100% stop by again for a morning coffee. read more

First time and we loved it!!! Service was 10/10 super friendly and so easy to talk to, the ambiance is so beautiful you feel very comfortable, decor 10/10. Coffee and food was delicious the highlight of the visit though was their pumpkin cheesecake pie, oh my goodness!!! It was so good I completely forgot to take a picture of it haha. Wonderful service, low volume music, relaxed ambience, restroom with diaper changing table and feminine products, lots of games and activity books for kids and adults to spend a good time, delicious food and coffee! Quiche was good but very expensive ($14 for a small slice and there were no prices on the wall menu). We got three and each slice was a different size. Flavor was good but the crust had a microwaved texture. Coffee was good and normally priced. Service was good and the interior was cute. I would go again to get coffee but not food. read more

First of all, Abigail is engaging and she makes one beautiful latte that is delicious as well. I had the avocado toast on a luscious bread that was soft and fluffy- and I added their house made smoked salmon. It was absolutely yummy. Abigail was attentive and service was excellent. It was a comfortable vibe that would make anyone want to stop and rest a bit. Conversation was easy and friendly- I highly recommend! They serve breakfast and lunch plus an array of drinks. We stumbled onto this cute little cafe in north bend after our hike. We were looking for coffee and a little snack and we came to the right place. I had a bowl of their poblano and chicken soup and it was delicious on a cold afternoon post hike. My husband had a cup of cortado and it was nicely made by the owner. I ordered a birthday cake and couldn't have been happier! The people were very easy to work with and the cake was perfect! Wonderful flavor and the buttercream icing wasn't too sweet. I stopped by to fuel up on food and coffee for my drive home to Portland. I had the chorizo breakfast wrap and a cardamom vanilla latte. The wrap was delicious! The chorizo didn't overpower the other ingredients and the tortilla was perfect. The coffee was really good too. I will definitely be back next time I'm in North Bend. read more

They only serve breakfast items on the weekend and have limited pastry selection which was unfortunate because their online menu was comprehensive. I also ordered an iced vanilla latte and was given a hot latte, the service was slow because only one person was working so I didn't even bother asking for it to be fixed. read more

Visited yesterday in travels & wanted to support a local, small business vs franchise. It's definitely not a super quick jaunt off e bound i90. We loved the name & were intrigued after looking @ their site. Indoor environment was good with a fun classic rock playlist & they have a shelf w/ many games! Outdoor environment was an enclosed, messy patio w/ chairs stacked. Was a beautiful day & would've loved to sit in the sun but this option was clearly unavailable. Service: There was no other customers when we were there. Guy that took our order said no, weren't raw onions on the "off leash," sandwich & was only what menu said. Very pleased cook was thoughtful to come out of back with correction & said yes, there were usually raw onions & they needed to correct menu. (on Toast site, no description on it). Service was very slow & unsure why, they didn't say anything. ? Food: Husband ordered same sandwich & felt even more disappointed on very small portion size. We shared the 4th place chili - funny name. It was A+!!!!! Large meat chunks were tender & the flavor was amazing. Price: Disappointing. Overpriced for the really small portions. I wish they had filled the cup of chili up as it was only 3/4 full & it was an additional side add on cost not included with the sandwich. There were only 2 thin slices of turkey on the ciabatta that was on the dry side (cracking). Flavor was good & again with minimal everything, including toppings, wish I'd have been able to taste the tomato jam more since was looking forward to it. Overall, the skimpy portions outweighed the amazing chili. (Tried attaching food & restaurant area pics but the Yelp app keeps giving error reading when tried both ways to post?). If you're in the area, this is absolutely the place to add to your rotation. My wife and I were around and stopped by for coffee and snacks. The food, drinks, and service were all outstanding. That said, we couldn't stop talking about how fantastic the food is here! It's clear the chef/owner is passionate about turning local products into incredible bites. We went to Bread & Bone last week and really enjoyed our experience! My husband had the margherita flat bread which was very good, and I had the Phat beet salad. It was delicious! Stopped in for lunch with some friends today, and we were all so happy we did! I had Potato Leek Soup, which was perfect for the cold and rainy weather, and also ordered the flatbread special, which was fantastic- who knew tomato jam could taste so good!
