    Classic Maine Lobster Roll

The chairs are kind of uncomfortable. That's my only complaint. Otherwise This place is awesome I had no idea it existed and I've been in Westchester for many years. The service was friendly. We ordered a hot lobster roll, cornbread, and the branzino. Lobster roll was stuffed full and was delicious and soft. It came with a bag of lays chips. The Branzino which is an entire fish, has bones fyi was slightly over cooked like charred on the outside and could use a bit more seasoning but was still nice and fresh. Personally I didn't try the cornbread.

July 2026, sat in the front bar which has plenty of seats with backs, the other bar in the back the seats only go a quarter of the way up, not enough back support in my opinion especially if your trying to eat your meal. The place is adorable and they do have outdoor seating the front. The Bartender was friendly and took our order right away. I ordered from the Starter Menu the Mama Szes Dumplings (fried) which tasted great and the Baja Fish (soft) Tocos that came two on a plate. These Tocos tasted great, however in my opinion they were a little too messy to pick up and eat because there was a little too much cabbage in the Toco. My friends ordered the Lobster Roll (hot butter) which they loved - it came with a bag of chips but they ordered a Basket of plan French Fries, not the Fries with Old Bay Seasoning - the fries were cooked just right. All and all, we would come back here but I am going to skip the Baja Tocos.

If you're craving seafood, you need to dine here. Located on Main St in Hastings, this spot has plenty of seating (indoor and outdoor) where you can enjoy an array of great food and cocktails. Since I'm very basic, I normally only order lobster rolls when I dine here but my friend ordered the Salmon which looked divine so might have to switch it up next time! Note: there is plenty of parking in the lot next to the restaurant.

We gave it 5 stars for the Service, food and pet friendly ! This is located in a very cute area to browse around after. Street parking was not an issue on a Sunday. Outside seating contains well Maintained picnic tables. The inside is modern with two inside bars. The servers checked in on us frequently and brought our dogs fresh water. Food- rigatoni bolognese was not a traditional red sauce but full of flavor. The rice bowl with shrimp was fresh. I tried a Vegan hard boiled that was in the rice bowl for the first time and I was blown away how real it tasted. The Shoshito peppers were great, and not one spicy one in the whole bowl. Highly recommend if you are in the area

Bread & Brine is one of our absolute favorite local spots! We go all the time and everything is consistently delicious -- the Thai-style calamari, oysters, baked clams oreganata, rice bowl, dumplings, cornbread, lobster roll, fish sandwich, and Korean chicken sandwich are all amazing. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Service is always friendly and reliable -- it's truly a neighborhood gem we never get tired of!

Been trying new restaurants along the Hudson and wanted to try this one. Parking in the area can be hard on weekends. They have outside seating but choose to sit inside. Came late for lunch ordered clam chowder it was not your typical chowder. Was not creamy at all I'm told that's not how you make it but what other way is there. The oysters were ok my best friend ordered the burger but unfortunately the order that came out was wrong. So she had to wait again for a new order to come out. My crab cake salad was delicious and was the best part of the meal.

I tried to eat the fish which was very soft but dripping wet. Complained about it snd got it taken off. I would try a different dish and strongly urge you to pass the fish and chips. Zoom in on the plate and look at the pond of oil.

I thought it was like a fast casual place. I could not get cell service so I had to connect to their wifi. When I ordered, I saw they asked for a tip. That was frustrating since I am doing almost all of the work and what am I tipping for? I gave the standard 20% tip because if they see I do not want to tip then I am probably begging for food poisoning. Just like any McDonalds, the staff brings the food and that is all they do except clean up any part of the table that you cannot clean up yourself. The margherita pizza and truffle fries were nice. The pizza is too big for one person even though the menu says "individual." Just like any fast food place, there is the section for you to place your dirty dishes when you are done. So I cleaned the table myself even though I tipped these people. I will not return because tipping people to do their work for them is not for me.

The charcuterie board, sardines, grilled cheese, and sourdough nduja menu? There are some tables near the massive craft beer and canned beverage cooler (including an extended non-alcoholic selection of drinks as well). They were full upon arrival while the bar had surprisingly few people- but I soon learned why. The bar seating was unfortunately some of the most uncomfortable bar seating I've sat on to the level that I couldn't really sit on it for more than 15min at a time without needing to stand again for relief from the stools. That may be good for turnover, but not for a second round, creating community at the bar, or staying for more than one drink. Which is too bad- because the bar tender was great and could probably gain more loyalty if it was more comfortable to stay. The only option I could see in the menu for a vegan was sourdough with perhaps fig jam and a rogue olive oil bottle that I spotted on the counter, or some chips off the wall, so it would be nice to have just a little more to work with in that direction for the animal-averse type. Overall- it's a bar and it's a nice one with a lot of thought put into it- so I only took a star off for the bar seating- everything else about the experience is lovely, but a comfortable place to sit is at least 1/3 of the experience and has an impact on wanting to stay and order more. The dart board in the back is freely available though- just ask the bartender for darts!

[Blowing on my nails.] The menu is a mix of American comfort food and gastropub classics, but with flair, and has a bit of everything to satisfy different palates. Our eyes were probably bigger than our stomachs as we ordered 2 apps, 2 entrees, and 2 cocktails, and it was an enormous amount of food. The portions are definitely what you'd call hearty, and everything was very tasty. Thursdays are all day happy hour so we picked the fried calamari appetizer at the HH price (still a full and generous plate and didn't seem like a downsized version) which were tender and well-battered, as well as the hot honey wings which were meaty and substantial. The short rib parpadelle with housemade pasta and a perfectly medium-rare, well seasoned hanger steak with truffle fries completed our satisfying and belly-stuffing meal. The cocktails are serious as well - the presence of a drink with egg white is my personal litmus test for a bar that knows what it's doing, so the Thyme to Bloom special had my name on it. I'm salivating just looking at photos of dishes I didn't order, and am already plotting my return!
