Went here for Valentine's Day on Saturday. It was okay. I had the calamari and bronzino. The bronzino was broiled too long and was burnt around the edges. The mashed potatoes were very dry. The grilled vegetables were awesome and had a char grilled taste. The restaurant was cold because the tables are near large glass windows that double as sliding doors so I ate with my coat in. They need to hang some curtains or shades to shield customers from all that cold air coming in through the window panes. read more

We visited Coral Seafood this weekend for dinner. Complimentary Parking is offered at the Opus hotel which is a good positive. Getting the car in and out of the Opus- not the easiest. This is a large restaurant that is decorated nicely with modern decor and tablecloths. Of the 40 tables in this restaurant there were probably 6-7 tables in use. The food was good- seared tuna, grilled swordfish, scallops, plus salads and sides. Pricing was fair and service was fine. We didn't have dessert. So- will I be back to Coral Seafood again? It's hard to say but it's doubtful. I restaurant has to have a vibe, a soul, some energy or some excitement. An empty restaurant on a Saturday night makes me sad and dining should not elicit feelings of sadness. I wish them luck. read more

This is the best hidden gem in White plains. You would never know from the outside that you are about to walk into an intimate, dimly lit, delicious dining experience. Upon being sat you are served feta & grilled peppers with homemade bread/pita. We opted for the swordfish dinner and the surf and turf. The portions were generous and perfectly seasoned with simple flavors. Drini was a friendly and professional server. Very pleasant romantic night out. read more

Wonderful local seafood restaurant! We stopped by on a busy Saturday evening and had a wonderful dinner. Started with the Clams Oreganata and the Lobster Bisque (soup of the day) - both very good. For our entrees we had the Lobster Tail, Seafood Pasta and Black Sea Bass - all excellent with the Lobster Tail and Seafood Pasta being especially impressive. Great combination of ingredients and preparation. For dessert, the Tiramisu Gelato Truffle (a little different!) and the Key Lime Pie provided a nice finish. The restaurant was nicely decorated for the holidays (with holiday music in the background) and the entire staff was friendly and helpful. Great food, reasonably priced and terrific service - will definitely be back the next time we are in this area! read more

Had the seafood pasta. It had 2 small shrimp, a sliver of a scallop, and lots of mussels and calamari. There was no fish and they were not too generous with the pasta. The restaurant should have done better for what they charge. read more

This hidden gem is in the center of everything but somehow under the restaurant radar. Great for a few reasons, the first I already alluded to- great location in downtown WP. Next they are very reasonably priced and even offer a prix fixe 3-course. Prompt service, fresh seafood, elegant ambiance. They host private events too. read more

Coral is outstanding. When it comes to seafood, their Branzino is the best in the area (as good as the Greek restaurants in Queens, NY). Their chef was the chef at Valbella's in Greenwich but now we have him in white plains. The linguine with white clam sauce is the best I have tried in Westchester. The salmon steak and snapper is so fresh. You will not be disappointed at coral. read more

First time here. My husband wanted seafood hard to find good seafood restaurants in Westchester. I have to say it was excellent. U can valet car at Opus hotel and the valid it for u because it is so hard to park in the area. Elegantly decorated. My husband had the oysters they were fresh and delicious. We all had fish you can pick how u wanted it cooked. The waiter gave us his recommendations which were excellent. The fish was also very fresh and u pick a side per dish great options and also tasty. It is getting really hard to find restaurants that do seafood right and have more then just Bronzino on the menu. Coral is an amazing spot for the true seafood lover. Everything is prepared simply in a way to make the seafood shine. You can tell they have fresh higher quality seafood. The staff was great and even recognized us just our second time in. Went to Coral Seafood for happy hour and left as a fan. There is a good variety of different dishes for happy hour dining, and all of them were very good. We had fish and chips (potato chips that were crispy and not greasy), tuna burger, clams oreganata, and shrimp with pasta. The restaurant itself is very beautiful inside. Amazing restaurant. Been a few times already since moving into the area they have a wonderful prefix deal and the seafood is amazing. Got the stuffed clams as an appetizer, then the clam pasta as my entrée (and they don't skimp out on the seafood), and then ended it with tiramisu for dessert. First time here and was very happy with the experience. It was a business lunch with three of us. They started us with a complimentary dish of grilled green peppers, feta cheese with olive oil and pita bread, fantastic. had the Wedge Salad with grilled shrimp, which was delicious and my partner had the monk fish lunch special which he thoroughly enjoyed. Our client also ordered a dish from the lunch menu which was very good. The only downside was that we were the only customers in this beautiful restaurant.
