This is an amazing enterprise and I'm sad they set up only a few times a year. I went on a whim on Christmas Eve after seeing a post on Facebook and I was not disappointed. Selection was huge, prices were reasonable and everything was delicious. The loaf of rosemary garlic bread I got was still hot and I ate several pieces right away. Pastries were huge and tasty. I regret not getting myself a mini birthday cake from the refrigerated case on the way to the checkout. Staff was working hard to keep things stocked and the long line moving. I will be looking out for the next time Bread For the Masses is on the move. read more

I heard about this place via Instagram and remembering another pop-up bakery from my time living in Lakeland, knew I had to visit. So glad I did! Despite there being a line when I arrived, it moved quickly and everyone was very efficient and helpful in a cheery manner despite the constant activity. I ended up trying quite a variety because I wanted to share with others and even bought my cute little birthday cake there. Bread for the Masses is a food truck that was parked in Pine Castle, Florida that was parked next to a pizzeria. I asked one of the friendly ladies working at the truck and she said that they are here sporadically and usually here before the various holidays. She said they will next be back at this location right before Easter. She believed they would be there both on that Friday and Saturday. Bread for the Masses is a wonderful truck with some tasty items, including some gargantuan donuts. I did not get any of their breads, but the bread looked great. A warning, it is significantly more than what you would pay at say Publix or Winn-Dixie, but you do get what you pay for. How cool is it that a mobile bakery can park here next to a pizzeria and bring their product to you? The staff was friendly and it was so cool to just hang out and look at the amazing selection of items offered for sale. Overall, I will give Bread for the Masses five stars and I would definitely recommend here. read more

Phenomenal as always. I wish they had more scheduled events. I follow them at whatever location they are at. The cannolis are to die for!!! Jalapeño bread is our favorite but the rosemary is really good also. The sausage Stromboli we get every time they have it. They offer pepperoni too but we prefer the sausage. There's plenty of meat which justifies the price. Please stay around longer!! read more

This place is incredible! We stopped by BFTM while they were at Hoffner and Orange and it was a great decision. The food truck itself is an amazing piece of machinery. Fully functional bakery on wheels, they are cooking bread fresh all day. We left with like 3 loaves (Italian, rosemary, and butter bread), pastries, muffins, and more. Bread For The Masses is a small pop up shop on the intersection of Hoffner and Orange. First of all the presentation display is beautiful to make your eyes salivate. Beautifully decorated cupcakes, perfect bread loaves and CINNAMON ROLLS!! My goodness the cinnamon rolls are perfect. Absolutely delicious and fresh- warm and adorned with sweet honey butter icing. I definitely recommend this place. I plan on making this my spot. Best part is they are open until 9pm most nights and are constantly making fresh baked goodies. Thank me later. read more

We truly count down the days until they come back to our area ! The bread is some of the best and freshest we have ever had, meanwhile the pastries are truly just as good. We got the rosemary bread and it was soft and flavorful paired with the garlic butter they make and it was wonderful. The Danish was big enough to split for 2 days. This is an incredible, full-scale bakery that happens to be mobile. If you are searching for a one of a kind, local bakery...this is the place! We randomly drove by Bread For The Masses and made a point to come back. As soon as we walked up to the counter, the owner immediately gave us samples of the cranberry walnut bread topped with a cream cheese icing and a slice of their butter bread. After taking a bite of each, it was hard for my bf and I to stop taking bites. Ariel helped us placed our order and we got a blueberry cheese danish, banana nut muffin, guava pineapple muffin and a chocolate croissant along with a free loaf of Cranberry Walnut bread! Everything was perfect and the customer service was memorable. Can't wait to come back in two weeks for the next bounty of sweets! read more

(12/23/2018) I've driven by many times when they've been setting up, but haven't had the chance to stop. A community FB post let us know they were making stromboli today. That was enough to drag my butt out on a lazy Sunday morning. Figured I'd be smart and go early when they opened. By the time I got there, 10 mins. after their opening time, there were 8 people ahead of me, standing in a parking lot, lined up on the side of a road waiting for their baked goods. It was nuts. Maybe it's the holidays and people are stocking up, but there were cars swerving in so people could rush over to get their strombolis, monster cinnamon rolls, seeded dinner rolls, cream horns, and muffins, by the tray. I mean, no one was getting a thing or two, it was like someone said gluten was going out of style, people were buying TRAYS of stuff. Um, one thing, no signage with prices, but I have a feeling the people here were paying up no matter what. There was one poor lady working the line and register, I felt bad for her, she seemed stressed, but everyone in line seemed very patient. I had a little wait for my Pepperoni Stromboli (because they were baking it on site and it was in the oven!), be forewarned, it's $20, but well worth it, I thought. It's one of my SO's most favorite things. This one was crusty, top and bottom, and not so gooey in the middle, chock full of salty, spicy pepperoni and plenty of stringy, mozzarella. They're open another 7 hours today, I might truck back down there and stock up myself. read more
