    Mango Slice Cake
    Joy J.

The best asian bakery in Orlando IMO. They are Taiwanese based that offer authentic asian fruit celebration cakes that has fresh fruit with glaze and whip cream frostings. They offer bread pastries from savory to sweet, bread loafs, Pastry cakes slices, Swiss rolls, Cookies, Nougat bars, Biscuits, Taiwanese snacks such as sticky rice wrapped in leaves and sticky rice bowls that are savory. Also Boba drinks. They now accept apple pay/google pay and cards and also cash payments. This place closes at 5pm and are close on Thursdays. They get busy in the afternoon so if you have a favorite item please call ahead or order ahead if not your are lucked out. My faves are the Pineapple corn cake, Chocolate custard bun, Pork Gloss Cream Cake, Banana Bread , Black Sesame cake, Anything custard filled I like. They offer interesting moon cakes as well. They offer cake slices - Of Taro, Mango and Strawberry in the chiller display case. I have tried The Mango and Strawberry Cream cake slices - Both were delicious but a tad bit too sweet for me for some reason. I favored the Mango Cream cake better - It was a different taste of cake. The fruit jelly jam consistency along with the light whip cream in between and on top was refreshing. It balanced well. I prefer fresh fruit cake instead of these imo. Purchases: The pork floss cream cake is pretty delicious - sweet savory with light chiffon cake filled with light lightly sweet whip cream tucked in between the light chiffon cake and topped with savory pork floss. This is a large piece so be mindful. The Pineapple corn chiffon caker is always a favorite. It has tiny bits of the crushed pineapple in the jam/jelly filling. Not too sweet and lightly sweetened. Black Sesame cake - has the light whip cream in between and black sesame cake that is lightly sweetened Always another favorite. Chocolate custard bun - This is a bread based bun dusted with cocoa powder and inside is a lightly sweetened custard filling. This is one of my favorites buns. Sun Pearl will always be my favorite asian bakery in the heart of Orlando.

Love, love this place! This is one of my favorite bakeries in Orlando! Baked good made daily! Fresh and delicious ready for a sweet or savory treat for any occasion or just because. My absolute favorites are the thick slice plain bread, the lemon yogurt buns and the purple milk taro buns it comes 2 to a pack. These are great by themselves for breakfast or with coffee. Also the lemon yogurt are excellent with coffee as well or with tea. The sliced bread is excellent for French toast, regular toast or Japanese sandwichs. The staff work hard to please their customers. I once went to go get more bread and they had run out and since I was going to stay in the area I decided to come back. I ordered it before leaving and they held on to my order until I got there around 3pm. I told them how many I wanted. So glad that they are will to work to please the customers that says a lot about the staff no wonder this place is popular. The parking is a bit crazy because it's usually packed and hard to find near by parking. But it's definitely worth going.

A hidden gem in the Enson market plaza! A wide range of chinese baked breads, buns and desserts. Prices are what you'd expect for a niche bakery starting at $4 a pop and nougats for $3.95. Chinese bakery sweets are not as sweet as american bakeries so you don't feel like you're drowning in sugar. All of their bakery items are made in house daily! I hope they expand down to Broward/Miami as we need a good chinese bakery! Can't wait to come back on our next trip to Orlando.

This is a bakery and small cafe. They have bakeries but not as many varieties as other Asian bakery. We order few things to try. Our coffee orders took awhile to come.

We have been getting their pastry and birthday cakes for over 15 years. Never disappoints. Everything is super fresh and delicious. Highly recommend

La comida súper (lo que me comí) perfecto para un dulce después de comer pero también tienen opciones saladas. El servicio es bueno y el ambiente es limpio y tranquilo. Taro cream cheese Yummy

Lots to choose from. Purple, green, lots of fun choices.

I've been enjoying this Asian bakery for 2 decades, & it never disappoints. They accept credit card payments now; it used to be only cash. I'd run around that strip mall looking for an ATM. They're worth it. I've never their whole party or birthday cake though. I order the individual treats in the plastic bags, or in their refrigerated display case, or moon cakes. Some mornings I'd find fried eggs in pastry, or other savory fillings, maybe a hotdog. Usually there are lots of sweet choices. Their sponge cake is really good. They're creative. Coffees menu is new. They serve milk teas, slushes, but sometimes run out of boba, 30¢ more. The seating at tables is new. Super casual takeout counter bakery.

Great spot for Taiwanese breads and goodies. They have a nice variety of baked deliciousness and the owner is super friendly. The taro buns are all great, and everything is made fresh daily. This is a must try! Cash only.

Sun Pearl Bakery is a simple decor, no-frills shop with fresh, delicious pastries. The pork buns are perfect--crispy on top, soft inside. Friendly service and great prices make it a local gem. Highly recommended!

The moment we stepped in everything smelled absolutely delicious. We just returned from Taiwan, and I am so grateful to have a local bakery that can bring us back to all our feels. The service was great and the overall vibe of the bakery was amazing. Definitely making this a regular stop

The best when you looking for a simply straight forward not overly sweet dessert. The bread/ buns are so tender with a slight sweetness allowing the cream to come thru pure, light and fluffy taste like twinkle use to taste like in the 80's.

Great little Asian bakery in Chinatown Orlando. Like many bakeries, you gotta be there early but they seem to have a good handle on keeping their baked goods stocked. I noticed every time a tray was emptied, they were quick to replenish. For being around 1pm, they still had plenty of items. Note that this is a cash only establishment, definitely worth a check out if you're in the area.

This establishment is a no frills little mom and pop place. But my friend told me it hit the spot. Similar food from her childhood she said. I'm really glad we found it. I also wanted to give a shout out to the server, whom I can only assume is the "pop" of the mom and pop restaurant. He was attentive, making sure we had water, and asked if we were good with the food, and just overall very nice. Keep in mind, no frills - disposable plates/plasticware etc. so having the friendly service as well was a nice touch. About the food, we have the fried pork chop bento box. The pork chop was nicely flavored and tender. There was some minced pork with gravy over the rice which was perfect. We loved the pickled veggies in the bento also and the soy sauce egg. I highly recommend trying their bento box options when you're here. Plus, I noticed they had lunch specials too. Will have to try next next for lunch. We also had the Taiwanese sticky rice, popcorn chicken, plum sweet potato fries and oyster omelette. All were very good. For those who know, this place is located in the old plaza where enson market is but over on the other side where the viet market and restaurants are.

All I can say, this place simply blew my mind!! I never expected this resto to be this GOOD! Came in around 7:15 pm and there's were a few people waiting and I signed up on their Yelp waitlist kiosk. But I got seated about 5-10 mins upon arrival. So when looked at the menu, they had 3 dishes that were Michelin guide recommendations. The first one is their wonton soup, the pan fried Peking duck buns and the steamed buns with bokchoy and mushrooms. So I was curious and had to order the wonton soup and since I love Peking duck, I ordered the buns. Here's my assessment: 1. Pork and shrimp wonton soup - 15/10 - the soup was pretty neutrally flavored but still good to my liking but oh boy, the wonton was out of this world!! It came with 6 large wontons, some bokchoy, seaweed and the broth. I always ask for chili oil and when I took a bite of the wonton, the sudden burst of deliciousness that I felt in my mouth was indescribable. Then I dipped the wonton in the chili oil and it added another layer of umami flavor. This is prolly my Top 2 wonton soup I've had in my life next to the one I've tried in Hongkong years ago!! Every wonton I ate the more I just want to eat more wontons . It's INCREDIBLE. 2. Pan fried Peking duck buns - 20/10 - this should be a Michelin star dish!! The bun was a little sweet, soft but that first bite felt like all my salivary juices just exploded. This is the BEST BAO BUN I've had in America. The most perfect combination of sweet, savory, salty, with a touch of five spice and a gastronomically out of bounds dish - It's UNBELIEVABLE!! Every customer should not leave this resto until they've tried this one!! Trust me, you may want to eat at least 4 pcs of this. I would have wanted to get 2 more but I was already full. 3. Steamed bokchoy with garlic - 10/10 - love the freshness of the bokchoy, well poached and the garlic was just enough that it was not overpowering yet it was garlicky. I wish we can have Kung Fu Kitchen in CA but I guess FL is more business friendly. They also have their sister flagship resto in NY!! So if ever you come to Disney World or Orlando for a work or business trip, pls do yourself a favor and make sure you put this resto as part of your itinerary!!!

We usually order at the counter and the staff are friendly and very accommodating. This place is cute and cozy with modern decor and a fun mural. It's clean and offers a chill vibe, and located near UCF. It offers a variety of boba drinks and teas. There's a small food menu but I've enjoyed all the items I've ordered so far. My go-to is the beef noodle soup which is flavorful and simple, yet so delicious. The beef is super tender and the chopped mustard greens elevates the taste. I always get a side of the hot chili peppers which is added goodness! I'm a soup gal so this place is where I like to get my soup fix when the weather gets cold. Another favorite is the fried chicken thighs appetizer. It's crunchy and well seasoned, not greasy. You get a nice portion. I'm also a big fan of the mixed fruit tea with crystal boba. You get your choice of sweetness level. The fresh cut fruits inside is also a nice touch. Every time I stop in I'll see a steady flow of Asian customers, so you know this has got to be authentic. Recently they started offering specials on different days of the week. Hopefully it will bring in more customers. It's worth the visit if you want some Taiwanese comfort food.
