Man I usually like great harvest but this is the second time my order has been messed up. First mess up a few months ago was when I order a ham and brie sandwich and they didn't put ham and Brie, so I opened my sandwich for it to only have apple slices and some honey on it Now my bagel is BURNT to the Gods and a very stingy serving of cream cheese

I'm behind getting this review up, but better late than never. What a great find this bakery is! My daughter was getting her hair done down the street and I needed to find somewhere for a yummy breakfast. Well, welcome to Great Harvest! They make their breads fresh every day - it smells like heaven in there and they also have several Gluten free items (bread and pastries). I have had the breakfast sandwich twice now - egg, bacon, cheese on gluten free bread. It was delicious. I also had a decaf latte, which was perfect. You order at the counter and then they will bring the food out to your table, or you can wait for it. The inside has a great vibe with nature stone and cute tables and chairs. You can easily spend a few hours here sipping on coffee, eating and working on your laptop. One of the days I was here, someone came in and started playing the piano. It was beautiful. They are also dog friendly for ordering. Meaning you can bring your leashed pooch in while you order - the floors are concrete. This is now a go to spot for me in downtown Orlando when I'm in the area. Definitely need to try more of the offered items.

We came here on a Saturday morning, have always been curious about this spot and drove by it many times. We ordered the loaded breakfast sandwich and the Cubano. Both sandwiches were delicious. The loaded breakfast sandwich was well balanced with tomato, cheese, bacon, and avocado. The cubano was savoury and the mojo pork was well seasoned and really stood out:; was certainly the most prominent participant of the sandwich. Would've gotten 5 stars but the tip screen options were a bit unwelcoming. The options were 15%, 18%, 20%, or no tip. There was no custom tip option. Literally have never seen that at an establishment where one orders at the counter. I understand that workers need to get paid, but it's ridiculous that a counter service place does not allow you to custom tip.

My wife got the chicken salad sandwich (Big Sky Chicken Salad) on gluten-free bread. It was OK. Like our previous visit, the served portion size was a little bit on the small side. Like a lot of the GF items, the bread broke apart (No one's Fault as this is inherent with GF). Overall a good experience. Next time I will get a Cinnamon Latte as my last visit, it was epic.

First time in. Asked Yelp for bakeries. Nice little bright open space. I told the young lady behind the counter it was my first time as that I was still a little overwhelmed, but she was still kind of impatient with me. She did explain what I needed to know eventually- and after u gave her a good gratuity, she seemed to improve in attitude a bit. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich and a bunch of baked goodies: loaf of bread, brownie, Blondie, cheddar biscuit. Also grabbed a jar of locally sourced honey. Forgot to add bacon and cheese to my sandwich. First bites pretty good.

Sample their bread! The slice I got was the spinach feta loaf with butter and it was so good!

What a great bakery! So many options to choose from to take home & to eat! I ordered the classic breakfast sandwich with garlic spread and it's the perfect amount of food to start my morning. I've taken home 2 of their loaves and they both were spectacular. You can also sample their bread in the front counter! Dog friendly, bathrooms, work friendly, and staff are nice!

Came here for the gluten free goodies! The staff was super helpful as I decided what I wanted to have, and they noted my gluten allergy. I had the breakfast sandwich on gluten free bread, and I also ordered the GF cream cheese scone and the GF brownie to go. Everything was really yummy. The cafe had a really nice and bright vibe, and lots of room to sit and comfortably enjoy your meal on site.

I like stopping by for my morning coffee or one of their amazing sourdough breakfast sandwiches. They're always switching up their coffee, tea, and chai flavors with the seasons, which keeps things fun and fresh, there's truly something for everyone. The service is always friendly, and the open, inviting ambience makes it the perfect place to start the day. Highly recommend!

With the current sourdough craze going on right now, it is importan to get your bread from a reputable establishment. GHBC is certainly the place. If you are luck to grab it hot out of the oven, you're in for a fantastic treat. Kudos for their wonderful efforts to accommodate gluten free food. A breath of fresh air !

It had been on my list to try and since I was in the area dropped by. The shop has plenty of inside seating and some outside seating. They are know for having a variety of baked goods, which rotate daily. I was offered a sample of their bread and butter (cinnamon), which was a pleasant surprise! The staff is nice, friendly, attentive and more than happy to answer any questions. I ordered the avocado toast with a fried egg on their white bread and it was good, tasty and made to order. It is a good place around the area.

I received a gift card from a co-worker and decided to stop by during my lunch break on a Tuesday afternoon. I was greeted with a friendly face and excellent customer service at the register. I purchased the BLT and biting into this sandwich instantly shot me back to my childhood, sitting in my family home and having a sandwich that my Grandmother made. The nostalgia! It tasted like it was made with love. I also grabbed a bag of chips and had an iced vanilla and caramel latte that was so good, I went back for a second one before I returned to work. The store's merchandise is awesome and they offer an array of products from coffee/tea makers and locally sourced honey to hats, all of which would make great gifts. I highly recommend.

Wow! Great Harvest is such a cute cafe hidden around the corner from Lake Eola. The service is quick, food is good, and staff is friendly. The GF garlic cheddar biscuit is incredible and the eola bar is the perfect dessert. My total was $10 for two bakery items and a 12oz hot latte.

Ask the Community - Great Harvest Bakery Cafe

Is this the kind of place one could order and sit and work for hours without being bothered or no? We're moving to FL from ATL and looking for some WFH cafe's & options while living through renovations (both of us work remotely).

The staff was very friendly and there were a couple other people working on computers. It did seem like the place you could work without an issue

We use DevOATed which is a local company here in Orlando. Thanks for asking!

It was really loud and there wasn't many soft surfaces to help absorb that sound. The location did appear to be clean. Now let's get to the food. I ordered the fried chicken benedict. Huge sprig of rosemary. Cayenne pepper (if it wasnt cayenne then idk what it was but thats what it tasted like) . Hollandaise was like glue. Maybe it was supposed to be gravy? Batter didnt stay on the chicken. Scrambled eggs in the chicken batter with a slice of cheese. Deep fried raw spaghetti noodles (why???). 2 pieces of bacon. Tomatoes. A pile of uncooked spinach. Frozen biscuit (if it wasnt frozen, you need a new biscuit maker). Mashed potatoes from a bag. Orange slice. Cantaloupe slice. This was a terrible version. Stop. Leave the stupid rosemary off your dishes. It looks stupid and not everyone likes rosemary. I dont recommend this place. Go to Dennys or Waffle House.

It was bagged nicely and well organized. The omelette was a generous sized portion with plenty of tender chicken, peppers, and cheese. There was salsa to add a bit of flavor, but it tasted that it was made in New York City (if you remember that commercial ;) ). The white toast was soft and buttery, and the potatoes were good. My mom enjoyed the banana pecan waffles, and I took a couple bites as well. It was sinfully sweet and enjoyable, especially the bananas. And I must say the coffee was so good, it was even better than the Juan Valdez coffee that I make at home. Since I didn't visit the restaurant, I can't comment on the atmosphere. But I believe the service is excellent because they nicely packed all items and kept it organized. I definitely need to take my family to this restaurant. Since the one in Metrowest closed, this is the closest one to us. I am glad the food is still excellent and the coffee keeps you peppy. I already have plans for a visit when my family gets here in two weeks. Obviously, the food is phenomenal. I usually get Art's Famous Fried Chicken, which they say is Buttermilk-brined for 24 hours then and then flash fried. I have a severe shellfish allergy, and they're always very cautious. No matter who the server or floor manager is. Typically, it's served with creamy mashed potatoes, but I usually swap it out with Momma's Mac and Cheese. I've also had the Smothered Chicken, Bee Haven Fried Green Tomatoes, and the Skilled-fried Chicken Paillard, which is what most of the staff recommends as their favorite dish. And you always have to get a cheddar drop biscuit. That's a non-negotiable. This restaurant is very popular and often gets quite busy, so I recommend to make a reservation as soon as you're ready. But the busyness of the restaurant won't matter once you take a bite. The food is the ambiance and changes everything. Just trust me.
