My husband has their iced white mocha coffee and said it's pretty good. Both avocado toast were delicious. They put a good amount of avocado which is a huge + For the price, it would be nice to get some fruit or potatoes on the side. $14 for a slice of avocado toast is pretty steep. We had the strawberry and banana nut bread, the cinnamon roll bread/pull apart, and the conchas, they were all so delicious and decadent. Their conchas and other baked goods have homely origins. The store is wonderful, it's modern, and a nice place to just relax and enjoy the food. A lot of healthy choices and variety to the menu. I can't to try the other foods and drinks. I definitely would like to share their baked goods at work and with family one day when I can place a big order. Service is amazing. read more

This place is so CUTE! The vibes are immaculate - light bossa nova jazz gives the airy space a very laid back, pleasant feel and the wall of bread is dangerously tempting. The service was prompt, friendly, and just above & beyond. The menu is simple but sophisticated as local joints go - breakfast cafe sandwich & bread-based dishes (the French toast looks amazing), salads, and sandwiches. I went for lunch, and had the chicken salad sandwich, which comes with fruit and is absolutely LOADED with veggies (fantastic for hot summer days). I came with my family and I asked the lady if they have coffee since is a Bakery and Cafe, and she just look to the back and say we runs run out of the last batch. I'm been working for the food industry for over 10 years and I know they can make the coffee in less than 5 mins, is nothing special or difficult to do. Stopped for a late breakfast on the way back to Orange County. Glad we did. Food options varied for breakfast to lunch. I had the 'classic breakfast sandwich', while the gf had the 'pullapart French toast'. Both were really good. Portions were good without being overwhelming. Good music helped with the mood and experience. I also had a white mocha iced coffee which less sweet than I've had at most other locations, which was good. The food did take a little while to come out, but there is a little sign pointing out that each meal is made fresh. I would say that as long as you're not in a rush, the wait will probably be worth it. Our server was one of the co-owners, who said business was starting to pick up. Hopefully these positive reviews help towards that goal. read more

I reeeealllly love and support a smaller independent business so decided to give them a try on the way to Mammoth. The breakfast sandwich (and BREAD loaf!) we purchased were delicious. I can't wait to go back to Mammoth so we can get more bread. The coffee .... on the other hand.... I have no idea what happened there, as we were the 1st people in the doors at the open. The coffee was SOOO bitter, I couldn't drink it. Could it have been the cream on the counter?? I didn't think so but it was horrible. :( Sadly we had already left or I would have exchanged it for another beverage. The service and the young ladies were VERY nice and accommodating, so really the only negative star is from that coffee. Please do something to make it better!! read more

A co-worker recommended this café and it definitely did not disappoint. If there is one thing you must try, it's the pull apart French toast. 10\10, the bread is so fluffy and freshly made daily. I also tried their Sunnyside jalapeño cheese beagle, and it was just what I was looking for. I am very picky with how I like my bacon cooked, and it was so crispy, and the eggs were the perfect consistency. We learned to play a board game with the help of a worker while we waited for our food. This will be our go-to breakfast spot. We have already recommended this café to our friends and family. We will be coming back with friends on Saturday. Can't stop thinking about the pull apart French toast! read more

Service and ambiance 5/5! Food was 4/5, I ordered the chicken sandwich with avocado, they forgot my avocado but promptly corrected it! My husband ordered the chicken avocado toast, and it was good, however, if you are considering ordering it make sure you're not super hungry as it's only one slice of toast, but he said he enjoyed. We also ordered the strawberry and cream French toast, this was absolutely 1000/5! I think everyone should give a try at least once! We drove from Barstow to try it so not sure when we'll be able to come back considering their hours of operation!
