    French toast

Tried this place for the first time this past weekend and it was very good! We got seated quickly, and the service was quick as well. The food portions are big and they are tasty!! The restaurant got very busy as we were seated, thankfully there's enough space for everyone and they have waiting bench's outside.

My husband and I stopped at this restaurant on the way to Las Vegas. We shared the corned beef hash and eggs. It was absolutely delicious! The hash browns were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft and buttery inside. The salsa was homemade and amazing. Our server was Amanda. She was so friendly and efficient. We had a fantastic breakfast and would definitely stop here again if we are in the area.

We stopped by on our way from Las Vegas on Mother's Day. We were going to go elsewhere because there was a crowd outside but we decided to wait. We ate at the counter. It was busy but we had great service. The food was delicious. I had the corned beef hash and biscuits and gravy. Coffee was good too.

Corn beef hash with home fries with bell peppers and onions, a must try.

May I leave 10 out of 5 stars? This place is a hidden gem. It is close to the freeway. If you are travelling through, you need to stop. Food and service were outstanding. Small neighborhood feeling. Place was packed but people came and went. Came back a week later. Place was busy but still held to my earlier review. Added the French toast special and was not disappointed.

I can't believe my last review was over 8 years ago! We definitely don't come here as often as I'd like. You can't help but admire the consistency with this place though, the food is the same, always the same level of amazing flavor no matter how much time has passed. The other thing thats the same is getting my order wrong, although this time the waitress caught it as she came to our table and immediately took it back. The service is amazing, staff is absolutely the best! I can't say enough about the level of care each time. It's a bit loud, worn down, and the seats could use some love but the tables aren't sticky and even if they were, it's absolutely worth it.

Came here on a Wednesday morning and was surprised to say it was pretty busy, despite that we were sat immediately. We ordered a couple things including coffee, which was topped off pretty frequently. The chili cheese fries were good, the French toast was very tasty not too sweet or eggy, the chicken sandwich was amazingggg. We also got a club sandwich or the "club stack" to go and ate it later in the day cold and it was still very gooooood. Our server was lovely, she was very attentive. Also the bathroom was very clean! Overall very satisfied.

The atmosphere is cozy it has that warm, comfort-food vibe that just makes you relax and enjoy your time. The food definitely delivers on that "home-style" promise. We ordered a variety of dishes: the country fried steak skillet, the hobo skillet, and the chicken fried steak--all hearty, flavorful, and satisfying. I went with the cinnamon French toast, and for just $4.49 extra, it came with eggs and a choice of sausage or bacon (I picked sausage). Everything was absolutely delicious. Portion sizes are generous--we couldn't finish everything and ended up taking boxes home, which honestly just means we get to enjoy it again later for brunch! This is a perfect stop if you're traveling along the I-15--especially for road trippers or truck drivers looking for a solid, comforting meal. Regardless, we returned again a few days later when we enjoyed Carrot Raisin Nut Madeleines slathered in butter before I addressed an ordered crock of French Onion Soup, which was hot, cheesy, and an authentic French dish. But I was not pleased with my main of Chicken Pot Pie. Its crust was fine but the interior consisted mostly of peas and carrots with a rich cream sauce that I didn't like, probably because it was somewhat bitter and lacked chicken flavoring that is commonly experienced in even a frozen chicken pot pie. Diane liked her entree of Chicken Cordon Bleu and Mashed Potatoes. But she found Au Gratin Potatoes to be too peppery. I sampled her Au Grain Potatoes, and found them to be not cheesy enough for my taste. David, our server, was excellent, cheerfully carrying out our requests for more butter, more napkins, untoasted French bread, and toasted French bread.

The waitresses are easy going, friendly, and very on top of checking on diners & keeping our drinks full. On our very first visit, our waitress recommended the freshly made potato chips that come with house made bleu cheese and/or ranch and they are AMAZING!! It's the first thing we order and it's something we crave. Breakfast is served all day. At our latest visit, we had a feast. We started with the chips we'd been craving, had the Grilled BLT burger, Classic Eggs Benedict, and finished it all with coconut cream pie and apple pie à la mode. SO GOOD!! Each with its own personalities and menu, but still great service. So, before I discuss this location (Hesperia Location) on Bear Valley Road in the parking lot of Desert Valley Hospital, do keep in mind there is one near Victor Bowling (Victorville location) and another on Main Street (another Hesperia location). Let's talk about this EXPRESS location. That's what it is: a smaller menu with the same quality ingredients and in a smaller location. It shares its space with offices associated with the hospital, so be sure to sit in Organic Fusion Tea designated areas if you choose to sit for a bit. Upon arriving, you will see a Kiosk that you may order from. You may also enter to see their menu neatly written on a chalkboard (using marker, of course) and order from the Organic Tea employees. As for the atmosphere, this place is tiny. Maybe, just maybe, you will see Desert Valley Hospital employees waiting for their drinks as you scroll through the kiosk to place your order or read the menu. Today, I tried the Lavender Milk Tea and I made my modifications on the kiosk. It was made perfectly. There are other menu items I have not seen at the Apple Valley location, so I would like to return and try them. Such menu items include Happy Tea and Elder Healer, both of which I think are good marketing items for being in the same parking lot as a hospital. Food is not served here. The location is too small and can not accommodate a kitchen. Drinks is it's priority and it's called Express for a reason: it serves up the simple, quality drinks. Highly recommend if you are on the go and need a quick, organic, Tea drink.
