French Omelette with country potatoes and biscuit and gravy.
Jeanne W.

The omelets here are four eggs so are super sized. I chose the French Omelet which has ham, bacon, mushroom, Ortega chile, green onion, and cheese. It is definitely a delicious and filling omelet. I highly suggest the country potato option as a change from the usual hash browns. The sautéed green peppers and onions add a nice touch to the crispy potatoes. I like the single biscuit served with sausage gravy. The biscuit was fluffy and one is the perfect size as a side. Gravy is the usual sausage flavored cream based sauce. This one has a good flavor. Service is friendly and efficient. I like that this restaurant has been here awhile. It was comfortable and relaxing to have breakfast here. Ample parking in the large lot.

Chorizo & Eggs with Beans & Rice
Leah N.

Decided to give this cafe a try. My husband and I were not disappointed. Portions are pretty good sized. Value is fair. The Staff were friendly and attentive. My husband had the Menudo and I had the Chorizo & Eggs. We also ordered a side of pancakes to try. My husband really liked the Menudo and my Chorizo & Eggs were pretty good. I love their pancakes! Very good! Will definitely be going back. Their air conditioning was broken, but it wasn't too hot. You have to give them a try!

Green Chilaquiles
Violet S.

The food was good. I ordered the green chilaquiles with eggs over medium. The eggs were cooked perfectly. The green chili was HOT. Even by my bf standards who eats hot sauce and chiles daily it was 8.5 out of 10 on the spice level. For me, they were too hot but they were authentic so I didn't complain. If you like spicy foods, order this and see what you think.

Food is freshly and quickly prepared. Everything is good. The Waitstaff are like family and truly care about you. Restaurant is clean. Great family breakfast spot. Lunch is delicious too! The atmosphere is cozy it has that warm, comfort-food vibe that just makes you relax and enjoy your time. The food definitely delivers on that "home-style" promise. We ordered a variety of dishes: the country fried steak skillet, the hobo skillet, and the chicken fried steak--all hearty, flavorful, and satisfying. I went with the cinnamon French toast, and for just $4.49 extra, it came with eggs and a choice of sausage or bacon (I picked sausage). Everything was absolutely delicious. Portion sizes are generous--we couldn't finish everything and ended up taking boxes home, which honestly just means we get to enjoy it again later for brunch! This is a perfect stop if you're traveling along the I-15--especially for road trippers or truck drivers looking for a solid, comforting meal. Just keep in mind they're open from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, so plan accordingly. Definitely recommend if you're craving good, filling comfort food in a welcoming, homey setting

Grits were good and the portion is large. The omelette was generous as for the assorted vegetable portion in it. Sliced avocado comes with it. The banana bread served with the meal was good as well. Plenty of menu choices, and they have a few decent offerings for senior menu breakfast or lunch. Ordered the Senior Two egg omelette w/spinach and sausage/home potatoes/banana bread although it turned into pumpkin by the time it got to me (no biggie, ate it anyway ). Plenty of sausage but will try bacon and spinach next time, and there will be a next time. Two light eaters - my friend ordered a cinnamon roll so we split my breakfast and her cinnamon roll. We could not finish the cinnamon roll because the omelette was so good and hot. The cinnamon roll was not my style, a little on the dry side, and I prefer it without the whole pecans (or walnuts)? Good, I just would rather have more gooey, buttery cinnamon weaving throughout. I would definitely come back here and recommend it for easy parking, quick service and good ole diner food. I feel it's the best of the breakfast places that I have found in the high Desert.

We came here about 3 years ago for my son's birthday, and he insisted on coming back here again for this year's birthday. The waiter was nice and attentive, he didn't have any issues waiting when we needed more time to decide on our order, and he was quick to correct an issue when our food arrived. We never ran out of our drinks, which is a feat in itself with how fast the kids drain theirs! The best part for me was when I showed the waiter a picture of a drink I ordered 3 years ago and the bartender was able to replicate it and tell me what it was so I could order it again. It wasn't on their menu anymore, so it was impressive that he was able to identify it from a picture. Bring back the White wine Sangria, it's delicious! Oh, I also have to mention that when they brought the ice cream out to sing happy birthday, they made sure to include an ice cream for my 5 year old so that she didn't feel left out. I love that they took her into consideration.

The item was actually supposed to be chicken suizas, but we received chicken enchiladas with green sauce. Ironically, my mom liked this first order more than the second one. The shrimp in the shrimp fajitas was seasoned very well and I liked that it was visibly seared/grilled. My mom enjoyed her chicken enchiladas. 2nd order: Shrimp fajitas, but I received fajitas with chicken, shrimp and steak. I made an attempt to eat the steak but it was dry. We ordered chicken suizas and received the actual chicken suizas, which did not have shredded chicken but blocks of chicken. My mom hated this dish and said it made her sick unfortunately. The manager was gracious in correcting the mistakes and gave us some delicious churros, so that helped. The flour tortillas seemed handmade, they were very fluffy. The salsa and chips were good. I enjoyed my fajitas but sadly my mom hated the suizas.
