Weirdest interaction I've ever experienced with a restaurant!!! Very very poor customer service. I wouldn't come here again if you paid me. Very awkward, uncomfortable interaction there today. So uncomfortable we had to leave after ordering our drinks. Never in my life have I ever experienced anything like it!! The omelets here are four eggs so are super sized. I chose the French Omelet which has ham, bacon, mushroom, Ortega chile, green onion, and cheese. It is definitely a delicious and filling omelet. I highly suggest the country potato option as a change from the usual hash browns. The sautéed green peppers and onions add a nice touch to the crispy potatoes. I like the single biscuit served with sausage gravy. The biscuit was fluffy and one is the perfect size as a side. Gravy is the usual sausage flavored cream based sauce. This one has a good flavor. Service is friendly and efficient. I like that this restaurant has been here awhile. It was comfortable and relaxing to have breakfast here. Ample parking in the large lot. read more

Decided to give this cafe a try. My husband and I were not disappointed. Portions are pretty good sized. Value is fair. The Staff were friendly and attentive. The food was good. I ordered the green chilaquiles with eggs over medium. The eggs were cooked perfectly. The green chili was HOT. Even by my bf standards who eats hot sauce and chiles daily it was 8.5 out of 10 on the spice level. For me, they were too hot but they were authentic so I didn't complain. Dude. We found a new favorite breakfast spot! Giant portions made to absolute perfection! Husband got the country friend steak and it was definitely handmade...so crispy and good! The gravy is absolutely amazing....seriously one of the best country gravies we've had. The omelet is made with 4 eggs! Hash browns were crunchy and delicious. We have breakfast for daaayyyys. I highly recommend! They also have an entire Mexican food menu, as well as sandwiches. We'll be back to try lunch sometime. read more

I have been here a few times to eat. I tried their Menudo. It was good; however, my Menudo had too much chili powder and made me cough a lot the other times I tried their country fried steak and eggs and biscuits and gravy and chirozo with eggs the food was great just that the corn tortillas came to me cold and were falling apart like they were old stale. Ask for fresh corn tortillas, and still, they tasted deffently store bought tortillas. But other than that big portions. It's okay, place just did not like my plates coming out cold. read more

My parents wanted breakfast so my mom and I ordered to-go plates. We ordered various plates and the waitress had us take a seat. We were waiting for quite a while but I had definitely expected this and this restaurant is meant for a "sit-down" experience. Once we arrived back at home we noticed they had given us an extra side(nice!) and all of our food was accounted for. I don't think this place is too bad. Its decent tasting and good enough for the high-desert where your options are very limited. The only negative I would have to say about this place is the price. We were aimlessly driving around just looking for somewhere to eat when we saw this cafe tucked in a plaza, we decided to pull over and give it a shot. My husband and I decided to try this place for the first time since I saw some good reviews on it. Sadly, after trying this place out, we more than likely won't be returning. The atmosphere felt dead, felt like the staff didn't like working there. We had a simple greet, and then was told to sit wherever we wanted. After we sat, within about 3 min waitress came with the menus and asked what we wanted to drink. Once we placed our order, the food came out fairly quick, at least a good 10min. Our food had no flavor, tasted plain, and the sauce that my food contained tasted like something from a jar with water added to it. I'm usually not picky with my food, but I at least want it to have flavor. Not once did we have our waitress come back to check on how everything was, until we were done and the check was handed to us. When we walked to the register, there was a man sitting on the chair on his phone. Didn't acknowledge us, didn't even look at us while we stood there, didn't even say, "I'm in my break, I'll get someone to check you out". We are disabled and have registered service dogs. The manager refused us and told us that dogs like ours smell and shed and refused us entry. It was illegal the way we were treated! Don't go here! We went down the street to Molly Browns and had great food, super service and our dogs were treated as welcome guests. (Our dogs just sit under the table and sleep bothering no one.
