All I am trying to do now is schedule a technician--and after four separate calls and nearly TWO HOURS of total time, I still cannot get help. What happened here is beyond unacceptable aside from dropped calls, repeat transferring to other people, a genuine lack of willingness to go any ounce of extra mile: * Just to even potentially progress with a human, I was required to retrieve a TV model and serial number, which meant removing a heavy TV mounted on an outdoor brick wall above a fireplace--by myself--while still on the phone being asked questions. The recordings would detail me almost dropping the tv in the midst of this. * That task is not only difficult, it's genuinely unsafe and likely impossible for 90% of customers * I am now left with expensive equipment disassembled that I physically cannot reinstall alone * I've called 1-800-548-0828 four times, repeating the same information each time despite them clearly seeing my prior calls * Long holds, no progress, and being told they "can't assist" * Directed to call Magnolia...which is the exact same number I'm already calling * Conflicting information about hours * No manager available at any point What's even more concerning is that during my fourth call, a Best Buy technician attempted to contact Magnolia support internally four separate times herself--and also received no assistance. This clearly indicates the issue is not just customer-facing, but a completely broken internal system. To add insult to injury, after all of this, I'm being asked things like whether I've unplugged the TV for two minutes--which is mind-numbingly insulting given the situation and the level of equipment involved. I appreciate not all customers are tech savvy and I'm sure this is an occasional fix, but let's read the room Best Buy. For me to even take the time to write this review--the only productive outcome of being on hold for nearly an hour--says everything. I have NEVER in my life written a negative google review. As a business owner myself, I would want to know if I was so drastically disappointing my most loyal of customers. And now, even basic transparency is an issue. I am given a case number and told calls are recorded, yet when I ask for records or documentation of these interactions, I'm told "there is no way to do that." That is simply not credible. If it's a policy limitation, say that--but claiming it's impossible is unacceptable. To be clear on the impact: because of this experience, I have recently redirected over $20,000 of purchases to Costco instead of Best Buy and will continue to do so. That is business they will keep losing purely due my lack of believe they have any interest in relentlessly assisting the customer. This isn't just poor service--it's a complete operational failure--unsafe guidance, broken internal support, no escalation path, and zero respect for a customer's time.

We went to Ed Kellum based on a recommendation from a friend and also because we wanted better…read moreservice than we could expect from a big box store like Home Depot/Lowe's. On January 4th, we purchased a KitchenAid double oven from Mark Pritchard. It was expected to arrive in late January, so he gave us an approximate installation date of February 1. Since we hadn't heard from him during the first week of February, we called him several days after the promised installation date to check on the status. He seemed surprised to get our call. He called us back and told us that the KitchenAid was on backorder for several more weeks. So, he offered us a more expensive oven (at a discount, but still more money than we planned to spend) and we paid the difference ONLY because we needed a working oven. The Fulgor Milano was installed the following Saturday. But, Kellum's installer failed to test both ovens before he left. After he left, we discovered that only one of them worked. We contacted Mark who sent an electrician to our house. The electrician determined nothing was wrong with the wiring at our house. We contacted Mark again. Mark then arranged (through Kellum's distributor) to send Apex (a repair company) to our house. Apex replaced two parts on the oven, and it still didn't work. Our request for a new (WORKING) oven was declined by both Mark and the distributor, and Apex came back out more than a week later on Feb 24 and replaced a third part on the oven. So, as of February 24, we now have a "brand new" oven (for which we paid several thousands of dollars) that has already been repaired twice (three parts replaced) in less than a month after waiting more than 3 weeks beyond the delivery time promised, and at a cost of several hundred dollars more than we planned to spend. Not once has Kellum reached out to see if the oven now works. We were told they would extend the warranty on the oven that was installed for one year. But, several months later, we've never been able to get anything in writing regarding the extension of the warranty. We are now planning to replace our dishwasher and two refrigerators. Based on our experience, we will shop elsewhere. Needless to say, we are not happy with the service we received or the condition of the oven on which we spent several thousand dollars. We should have gone to Home Depot or Lowe's. Kellum's service was awful. We DON'T recommend Kellum to ANYONE! Dear Business Owner - if you're only planning to reply "Thank you for bringing your experience to our attention. We regret to hear that our service did not meet your expectations. At Ed Kellum & Son, we take pride in ensuring each of our customers' satisfaction. Since October of 2024, we have had consistent problems with this oven. The following is a timeline of the issues we have experienced: 1. October 17, 2024: oven installed 2. December 18, 2024: oven caught on fire while broiling. Guinco replaced both oven control panels (which had melted) and the light sensor. 3. October 14, 2025: oven would not turn on and showed an error code. Guinco replaced both control panels, the console/appliance manager, and the blower. 4. December 22, 2025: oven again would not turn on and showed an error code again for the blower and control panel. Guinco needed to order parts. 5. December 26, 2025: Guinco again replaced the lower oven control panel and appliance manager. 6. January 25, 2026: oven again would not turn on and showed the same error code. 7. January 27, 2026: called Kellum (one day later as they were closed on January 26th due to a city-wide ice storm) and conveyed to them we no longer want continued repairs and want the oven replaced. As of the date of this complaint, we still do not have a working oven. Kellum and Kitchen Aid are still determined to replace the blower. 8. February 9, 2026: received a call from Guinco that they have ordered yet another blower part and will replace it on February 18, 2026. We have made this clear to Kellum we no longer wish to have this oven repaired or have any parts replaced again. Their homepage on their website states, "Extraordinary Service, No Excuses." Kellum sold us this defective oven, is very aware of the number of times it has been repaired and understands our request. Kellum needs to do the right thing and reimburse us for selling us a lemon. So many types of machines that I ever even knew existed!! Actually it may be too much inventory selection because there are sooo many types of machines that it took me over 3 hours of shopping until I found the perfect machine for my home. I got the WMF 800, it is a residential/home super automatic espresso machine. The "brew group" (internal components) are exactly the same as the commercial grade machine models (WMF 1300, 1400 & 2000S)!! So this machine can handle as much volume as a Cafe quality machine... It has huge power but it sleek & compact for my home:) I even got to sample how it makes coffee because they had a floor model on display and they gave me several free cappuccinos to sample! More caffeine than I needed today but it was super fun;) They also have a full service repair department and they keep a full stock of replacement parts inventory so you never have to wait for parts if you need service. If you do want to buy a machine, definitely ask for Richard! He is a stalky bald guy so you will know him when you see him... He has a dry sense of humor, so u might like it or hate it... Either way he knows his stuff. He is very direct, so just tell him what you want and he will point you in the right direction. but don't expect a lot of small talk lol;) He is the owner so you can try to negotiate a lower price off the displayed prices... He will probably grumble a lot, but I bought a lot of stuff so he took a percentage discount off the total price as a package deal. Also make sure you get some Marcuzzi Espresso beans, they made the best tasting espresso I have ever tasted. It is a perfect blend of 90% Arabica and 10% Robusta coffee beans that have ben roasted "Italian Style" (so the are not greasy) to an Espresso Roast darkness. I am a very finicky espresso connoisseur and I like to have a double short espresso with no sugar so it has to be perfect when I make it. With the combination of my new WMF machine and the Marcuzzi beans I can make an espresso with the thickest & best golden brown Crema that I every have seen.... The creme will last for over 60 seconds. And the taste is amazing, soooo smooth never bitter!!!!! Good luck! And if anything does go wrong, I just take it back to him instead of having to ship it back to a factory as with a big box store.
