Great Cake! It was the highlight of the party! Everyone was very impressed with the uniqueness of the cake. The cake was sweet custard inside, moist, and well made. The croquettas were just the right amount of saltiness that it didn't class with the cake. We cut the cake with the croquettas on it. Be careful with the toothpicks holding the croquettas in the cake if you decide to cut it with the croquettas attached.

Pros: YUM! Their pastelitos are some of the best in town, their cakes are EXCELLENT, their cafe delightful. Get there early, stuff runs out! Plenty of parking and seating, service is friendly, but know what you wanna order so you don't slow down the line. Cons: no spinach empanadas, I know, it's not traditional, but most Cuban bakeries have them and I really want them to make them!

I came here for the Cuban sandwich, but fell in love with the creative desserts. For those of you who grew up Cuban, you'll recognize the names of most of the traditional desserts here -- torrejas, panetela borracha, capuchino, etc. However, they're also playing around with those classics and mixing things up with things like "Ño, Alabao (as in the Cuban expression "Alabao sea Dios", which roughly translates into English as "Holy sh**"), etc. Funny, yes, but also amazing desserts that mix things like Cuban style Crème Brûlée with a moist cake underneath. They just work--try them. Back to the Cuban sandwich. If you say, yes, to them putting everything on it, you'll get a sandwich that is overwhelmed with mayo and mustard. I'd recommend at least asking for it with light mayo and mustard, unless that's your thing. I asked for it without mayo and light on the mustard. The ham is nothing special. It's just square-cut processed ham. Also, there was barely any pork, just once slice. The pork was fine, but there was nothing particularly great about it. All that said, the real star of this sandwich is the bread. The bread was at least a 9/10. It was crunchy, light and soft, with a terrific flavor. Get this sandwich for the bread--the rest of the ingredients were a 5/10.

Breadman in Hialeah is great. The cafe con leche was very good. Their homemade chicken croquetas were very tasty. They have a pizza version of a pastelito that was delicious. The ladies working behind the counter were very nice and helpful.

This bakery was a short walk from our hotel so my Sister and I decided to check it out! They heave beautiful displays of a variety of pastries and delicacies. Their cakes are absolutely stunning and we intentionally sat near the register so we could watch as people picked up their festive layers of cake! We ordered the three different kinds of empanadas - ham and cheese, chicken, and beef. They were all super tasty, the chicken one was a bit dry but still flakey and good nonetheless. We also ordered a guava and mango shake that came out super quickly that we were able to use to stay cool on our way back!

Croqueta cake? Croqueta cake!!!!! This bakery has managed to make a cake of my favorite thing to eat - croquetas!!!!! And let me tell you - the croquetas in this bakery are the best in Miami!!! Vicky bakery move to the side!! The only croquetas that are comparable are isla canarias - I need to try them side by side. The empanadas are also amazing here!! They make them all fresh here (and the croquetas). No frozen food here!!! Only thing is that I think it's pretty pricey for a bakery but for the quality and taste of the food, I think it's worth it. And it's 2 min from my house. I will keep on coming here!

This place was crazy busy in a Sat AM full of locals but the staff is super efficient and super helpful. Customers were coming to get pre orders for large parties at the counter on the end (also the pastry counter) enter at the door on the right. The left is for mela orders. Don't be scared off by busy parking lot this place is ran like a machine. We loved every thing we e tried. My hubby is Puerto Rican and this place reminded him so much of home. The Cuban bread they make is enormous amd as a result so are the sandwiches made with their signature bread. Each sandwich is for 2 average people. My husband said that his Cordatito was the most perfectly balanced espresso of his life. The coffee to milk to sugar recipe ratio was made to the standards of the shop. Stop in today!! There menu states they specialize in catering orders.

I also had the French onion soup 5/5, probably the best ive ever had! incredible flavor profile perfectly balanced and salted. For entrees, my husband went with a oxtail with mash dish they had on special that day 1000/5, too bad eating with your hands and licking your plate is frowned upon lol - it deserved that! I had the Pan seared branzino 2/5 - now hear me out - it was five out of five in texture, soft and buttery, and presentation BUT it was cook with SO MUCH BUTTER, that the roof of my mouth & tongue were coated in it and I couldnt tastes anything else! It was so much butter that I felt my lips, tongue and throat irritated. Additionally, im not sure why they didn't pair this dish with a mash or a roasted potatoes, instead of only cooked down spinach. THE SERVICE: Reservations are strongly encouraged - so I made mine with Resy. Through Resy, I confirmed my reservation and had it all in text & email. Upon arrival, their system didnt pull it up. However, the manager (?) was kind, gentle and gracious, sat us at a table. Our waiter was fantastic! So charismatic, and was well versed on all the dishes and how they were made. I believe she said she's been with the team a few years now. From what I understand, a sister restaurant was just opened in Miami Beach, so I hope to be able to give that one a try aswell - maybe for my birthday in two weeks?

Not sure what has happened during the past two years but the food wasn't that great this time around. We shared the simple egg sandwich with bacon, and ordered a cafe con leche, the croqueta sampler and some islas canarias croquetas. The simple egg sandwich was unflavorful. The croqueta sampler and islas canarias croquetas were my favorite. Sadly, the cafe con leche didn't even taste like cafe con leche. Our waitress seemed overwhelmed although it was just our table and two more tables she was serving. There was a total of maybe 8 customers. We had to keep asking her for more water and napkins.

The décor perfectly mimics the charm of a quaint Paris cafe, making it an ideal setting for a delightful meal or a casual coffee break. I visited on a Thursday around 11:30 AM, hoping to beat the weekend crowds. While it was quite busy, the lively energy only added to the experience. One thing to note, you order at the counter before taking a seat, and they bring your food to your table. I can see this being a challenge during busy peak time if you want to sit and eat. The menu is impressively extensive, featuring a wide array of delectable options. I opted for the "Bonjour Madame," which included a buttery croissant with ham and cheese, delicious French toast topped with fresh berries, scrambled eggs (I chose not to have poached egg which is featured on the menu), crispy bacon, and a delightful bowl of Greek yogurt with fruits and honey. Each element was delicious and expertly prepared. I also had the crème brûlée latte, which was a standout! It arrived at the perfect temperature, definitely a plus, as many cafes serve their drinks lukewarm. To satisfy my sweet tooth, I indulged in a raspberry cream-filled croissant to go, which was the cherry on top of a fantastic meal. The staff deserves an A+ for customer service. They were super friendly and attentive, they made the experience even more enjoyable.
