When I finally reached someone, their next available appointment was 1 month out - not great, but I took it anyway - I'm in pain. My appt was on a Monday. That previous Friday they called me while I was at work to let me know they ran my insurance, their office wasn't covered, so they're canceling my upcoming Monday appointment. By the time I got to the voicemail and called back, no answer again. Then Monday came around, my original appointment time passed and then they called me back to let me know "they re-ran my insurance and apologies for the mistake, but their office is covered so please call back to reschedule". I'm really sorry, but no. Out of principle, I'll take my tech salary/insurance somewhere else. I feel like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman, "big mistake". I'm about to put a bunch of money down for my healthcare - whatever is needed, and something like this shows me that customer care is not your forte.

She was super sweet and Dr. Tracy Salgado eventually took over for my actual exam. She answered all the various questions I had and took her time to make sure we covered all the info that I came in for. The process was efficient, thorough and I wasn't pressured to purchase lenses like some of my previous experiences at different establishments. Overall, everyone I spoke to was super nice & down to earth so even though this is a bit of a drive for me, I'm definitely going to be returning for my yearly checkups and I highly recommend everyone to give this place a try!

The facility appeared spotless and well-organized, with a comfortable waiting area and clearly marked signage. The medical team demonstrated excellent bedside manner, explaining procedures thoroughly and addressing all concerns with patience. This outpatient surgery experience made my father feel at ease and less anxious, largely due to the compassionate care he received. I recommend bringing your own lunch or snacks, as waiting times can be lengthy--sometimes lasting several hours--and there is no vending machine on-site. Overall, I highly recommend this facility and would gladly return if we need another outpatient procedure, confident in the quality of care provided.

Even though I had no appointment, they still helped me out when I came in. Service was great. I signed a quick waiver. No charge! In less than 15 mins, Antonio, Genna, Noah and Brandon put a new screw in for me. They did a small file/cut to smooth out one of the edges for a more clean closer fit. Looks professional and my mom can't tell the difference. Thank you so much! I am super grateful! I'll definitely recommend Bella Eye Care to local friends :)

The next morning, the pain was getting worse and I was pretty desperate to get an immediate appointment into any optometry office. Most optometry offices open at 10am, but this one opens at 9am and I was lucky enough to get in for a 10:30 opening. Once I arrived, I got checked in pretty quickly. The staff there were all very pleasant and friendly. Soon after, I was in the exam room and Dr. Kimberly Haw came in. Dr. Haw was also very friendly and down to earth. I appreciated that she was very frank and straightforward about the potential level of injury that my eye could have sustained, yet also had a sense of humor that put me at ease. After examining my eye with some nifty gadgets, she was able to see that I had an abrasion on my cornea. She explained the condition, treatment plan - antibiotic drops, and things to look out for. I was originally just looking for ANY optometrist that would see me for my eye injury, but after my visit and positive experience today, I will return to Fremont Optometric Vision Care Center ongoing as a regular customer for my annual eye exams. Not that I plan to injure my eyes anymore, but if it happens again, Dr. Haw said to give their office a call as it is their practice to get people with eye injuries into the office ASAP for care. BTW, wear safety goggles when dealing with trees! I was just picking some dumb oranges when a random branch shot in at an angle right into my eyeball.

I have been a patient with Dr. Calhoun for over 20 years…read more She (and her associates) have taken care of me through my avoiding pregnancy, both pregnancies, births and now into my perimenoupasual/menopausal years. I LOVE Dr Calhoun. She and Mindy have always bene great. The problem is with the practice overall. Their wait times have gotten horrendous. I can't even schedule my routine annual exam now AT ALL. I've been trying for MONTHS and they are only giving me an option to schedule with a different doctor in the practice. Only ONE other doctor no less. That doctor in particular is the REASON I came here in the first place as I had issue with their prior practice. I left her care there to come here, she then later joined this practice and now that is the only doctor they want to allow me to see. NO, just NO. I have been attempting for MONTHS not to get a routine visit scheduled - I don't care if I have to wait months to see the doctor I have over 20 years of history with, I'm willing to wait but they won't even let me schedule. I'm now months overdue for my appointment with no promise of being able to schedule one in sight. I've already left Washington Health for my primary care due to similar issues. Time to find a new gynecologist too I suppose.
