Did not like the small and flavorless pancakes. Other items were good. How can anyone skimp on pancakes?

We've been going to Breakfast Time since they opened and it's still the best breakfast around. However, sometime recently, they changed their chairs at the tables to a small, cheap, uncomfortable wooden chair. Slowly but surely becoming a regular. I eat breakfast here about once a week, sometimes more often. Service is always friendly, they're certainly morning people to be here for a 6am open (I typically have one of two waitresses every time). I like that they have a counter I can sit at or plenty of booths depending on the day and time I get here. Weekends are crazy! Given that I eat here often, I have a solid rotation of choices. I almost always go with an omelet, hard to go wrong there and it's enough to hold me over until a late lunch more often than not. After riding by this establishment many times a week I decided to stop in and give breakfast and shot. What I found was a pleasing Feast palate. The Grits were second to none, although it they could have provided me with much more and I would not have been angry. The biscuit was hot, light and fluffy, and with a dab of honey inside, melted in your mouth. The only reason they did not get 5 stars is because I felt they could have gave me a more sizable portion of grits or maybe that's just the grits greedy in me. Absolute shame. The hostess was giving an obvious preference to certain groups- allowing them to completely skip the line and claiming she wasn't . Another woman noticed and asked to speak with the manager and pointed out what was going on and of course hostess denied it but then all the people that had been waiting the longest got seated. The line was out the door and people were getting very irritated. Honestly it was enough of an irritation that I wouldn't come here again. Be sure when they ask do u want a receipt you say yes. I told the cashier no and when I went to my car I got a text notification they charged me more than I agreed. I had already included a tip so why they took more money is beyond me. I went back inside and they said it happens sometimes and I needed my receipt of course I didn't have it cause I told them no. Had my bank receipt tho...just didn't feel like the hassle. Do the next time I went o just didn't tip. And u always get my receipt won't get me twice! read more

This was our first time at the breakfast time restaurant. We usually go to the Cracker Barrel across the street but we decided to try something new. We came on a Sunday morning and the parking lot was full. We only had to wait five minutes be seated. The restaurant is small and has a home like feel. The server Amanda was very nice and we asked for biscuits upon arrival. The biscuits are outstanding! The servings are enormous and the prices are reasonable. Great place to try. read more

Visited this past weekend. They dropped the ball. Grits were stiff and cold. Eggs didn't look right. Had bacon and tea. This is a relatively new location. I would drive to their Indian Trail location and stopped for the same reason, cold stiff grits!!!!! read more

Tuesday morning was pretty busy. We got sat right away though, party of 2. Our server did great. She kept getting double-sat and did a really well job of maintaining our tables. Food for both tables came out in a timely manner. Team work is great here. I saw one lady going around filing coffee and dropping food off. The only issue I had was the guacamole toast. The slice of bread used here is not what I'm used to elsewhere for this type of meal . The guacamole on it tasted amazing, lots of flavor. Lots of guacamole on it too. The bread was just too thin to handle everything on top of it. And wasn't toasted enough. That's my only complaint. Other than that, I highly recommend for breakfast. read more

Short version: Delicious home cooking diner with amazing food, friendly service, and lots of parking. Highly recommend! Long version: hubby and I popped in for breakfast on a late Saturday morning. We were placed on the waiting list but got seated at the breakfast bar within 5 minutes. I ordered the Breakfast Special #4 with over medium eggs, country ham, pancakes and a side of hashbrowns. Hubs ordered an omelette with hashbrowns, toast and a bagel. It took a little while for the food to come out but it was all perfect when it did. My eggs were cooked perfectly. My hubby's omelette was beautifully shaped with a healthy amount of melted cheese (not just an after thought of a sprinkle). Unfortunately, one of the patrons sitting next to us was being a real jerk (turning back his whole order because his toast came sliced instead of whole and he refused the whole order because his food would get cold while the toast was being re-made) and treated his server poorly but she handled him very professionally and graciously and apologized to us even though she didn't have to. I don't frequent this area as often but I will definitely come back to Breakfast Time if I do. read more

I have been here twice and both times were great! Definitely good food and great service. The portions are large and the prices are reasonable. It is very busy on the weekends, but I got a table within a reasonable amount of time. The wait isn't bad at all. The service is friendly and the atmosphere isn't too loud. They have bar seating much like an old fashioned diner with plenty of booths and tables to any size crowd. Great location off the interstate to meet people as well. I left brunch this morning generally feeling dissatisfied. I got the avocado BLT with chicken, rice, and lemon soup. The bacon on my sandwich just tasted like salt and the tomato wasn't ripe at all. BLTs aren't very difficult to make, and so I was surprised that this sandwich was so bland. The soup was ok, it wasn't something that I would order again. My boyfriend got three eggs, hash browns, and sausage links. The hash browns were kind of rubbery and the sausage wasn't breakfast sausage, it tasted like a hot dog. A friend and I went here for breakfast last Friday morning, Nov 20. When we were seated, we discovered that every table in the restaurant was filled. Not counting the bar, which was unoccupied, the restaurant was at 100% capacity instead of 50%, the current COVID-19 pandemic indoor restaurant seating requirement. There was no distance between table. Needless to say, we decided to leave and went across the street to Cracker Barrel who was following guidelines. I really like Breakfastime's food and prices, but when they put profits over the health of their customers, they will no longer get my business. Incidentally, I live in Salisbury and stopped going to their restaurant there because the waitress wasn't wearing a mask and they were at near capacity. Shame on you Breakfastime Anytime! read more

BreakfastTime is now mine and my family's first pick for breakfast. You will drive up and think that there is no way you will ever get a table from the cars you'll see. Don't worry, the wait will be minimal. And once you are seated, you will get the most amazing and quick service. And the food will not suffer from the quick service as it will be hot and accurate. They also offer the unique "3rd egg free" which is cool. I always get pretty much the same thing, e scrambled eggs, wheat toast, grits and liver mush. These will be the best grits you've had anywhere. And they cook the liver mush nice crisp. My Dad LOVES the pancakes and has been ordering them. I've also eaten lunch there and got the most amazing cheeseburger. Don't think this is like a typical place where you'll get two teeny hamburger patties...this is a true big eater's cheeseburger, so for normal eaters, get the regular burger and you won't go hungry.
