Breakfastime is diner food done right! Fast service and good food are the norm. You can't go wrong with Big K's Combo, which offers a short stack of pancakes, three eggs, meat, and two sides for only $12! The portion sizes are generous enough to get two meals out of it. You can upgrade to a specialty pancake for a small fee. Give them a try....You won't be disappointed!

Making an update to my previous post because I need to reiterate that Breakfastime is SO GOOD!! From the hostesses, servers, cooks and bus-people...they work as a team and are amazing. The food comes out of the kitchen picture perfect and delicious. I have never eaten anything I haven't loved!!! The only drawback is that they stay busy but we go into it knowing even if we have to wait it's gonna be amazing when we sit down. The Copperfield location is pretty big and has great bar seating, and in warmer months they have patio seating. The hwy 29 location is much smaller but also has great food. 5/5 without question.

So I've been hear for breakfast and it was amazing. I decided to go for lunch and actually order lunch food since you can order breakfast all day. I ordered the Breakfasttime BLT but substituted turkey for bacon. Just like with their breakfast, the portion size was awesome. Seriously, look at that sandwich! It also came with a side. I got a bowl of their chicken and rice soup. It was also really good. Honestly, I'm not surprised. I have never had a bad experience here. From the staff to the food, it is always a great pick.

This is the most delicious breakfast place in a 50-mile radius. Their food and service is superb. And the prices can't be beat!

Arrived about 9:30am on a Saturday. There was a 20-25 minute wait time given. It only took about 10 before they called out party of two. The decor is very countryesque and cute. I loved the diversity I saw there in the customers. I had the weight watchers platter which consisted of scrambled egg whites, Turkey sausage, wheat toast and fresh fruit. I requested cheese on my eggs. It was all so fresh and full of flavor! Lots to choose from on the menu. Breakfast foods you can get anytime and also a selection of regular meals. (Menu photos included) The staff we encountered were all pleasant. Our server Raven was friendly and efficient. Great first experience at this establishment and will be trying it again at one of their other locations. (Salisbury, Winston Salem)

I just love a good breakfast spot, especially when it reminds me of the breakfast grandma fixed. This place always makes my soul smile with joy each time I visit. No matter how crowded the service has always been good. If you're looking for a sign to come, I promise you that this is it!!!

Friday morning crowd was pretty busy, but seating was quick. I ordered the Greek omelet - add sausage with home fries. Everything was cooked very well and taste was great. I also had a golden waffle on the side; extra brown. It was perfectly crispy. Service was a decent.. she kept forgetting the few items we asked for, wasn't very attentive throughout our visit.

Always a great breakfast at Breakfastime. The food is great and the service is excellent. I favor the Cabarrus Ave restaurant because of their service but food is as good at either location. They same staff have been there for a long time which is great. While the menu is vast they will custom any order you request. The food comes out hot and fast. Coffee or your beverage of choice continues to flow. I cannot say enough of this restaurant. I will continue to go for breakfast. Maybe I will try their lunch sometime. Enjoy!

What an awesome place for a casual breakfast I thoroughly enjoyed everything that I had to eat from the croissant French toast eggs with cheese yes and Is cornbeef hash. The serve was great and fast. They are not opened late on Sundays which makes it a great after church breakfast place. My friends had the pancakes ans said they were really good and cooked perfectly. I would love to come again and have other dishes on the menu. We sat at the bar which is low and people sat close together so it is good for couples. I would recommend this place.

It wasn't long before my server was over with a bottle of water and a glass full of ice. The reason I came here was because there was a salad listed on the menu that just sounded very refreshing for the hot summer afternoon. I ordered the chop salad with grilled chicken and it was out to me, perfectly plated, in about 5 minutes. The salad was delicious and the chicken was flavorful and hot. The restaurant is small and bright with tons of natural lighting. The bathroom is small, unisex, kind of dark and dim, and a little dingy. My server wasn't the most friendly and she didn't come back to my table after she dropped off the food. I had to go up to the front to ask for a side of dressing. I'd still recommend the restaurant and go back hoping for a different server.

A must stop for both dinner and Southern breakfast enthusiasts…read more On my way home from Charlotte, I used Yelp to find me a classic diner to start my day off right. I choose the Crack of Dawn Diner in Concord. I am so glad I did. Crack of Dawn Diner is the real thing--a local Concord breakfast-and-lunch spot serving traditional Southern fare at reasonable prices. The menu caters to local tastes, the dining room is filled with regulars, and the atmosphere is comfortable rather than trendy. Parking is somewhat limited. The private lot surrounding the restaurant was fully used so I parked in the lot next door that had signs that said private property, but it looked like other patrons were parking there also so I took the chance. As it turns out, it was safe to park there. The entrance is very welcoming, as well as the staff. Amanda was my very efficient and nice waitress. There is great teamwork here, and Amanda was well supported by, I believe, the owner who ran my food out and talked a bit with me. The menu is fascinating. A distinctly North Carolina menu. Several things jumped out: * Breakfast special for $6.59 weekdays * Breakfast plates mostly under $12 * Grits included as a side option * Livermush available * City ham and country ham both offered * Pork chops available for breakfast I ordered the country-fried steak with white gravy (essentially chicken-fried steak), along with two sunny-side-up eggs, perfectly prepared grits, a large buttermilk biscuit, and a delicious diner coffee. The restaurant occupies a stand-alone building with a warm, "come on in and rest a spell" atmosphere. Inside, you'll find counter seating, an open kitchen, and tables throughout the dining room. I chose a seat by the window overlooking the parking area. This was a great breakfast, that was reasonably priced, in a great atmosphere, with very nice people. It stuck to both my mind and ribs all day long. After breakfast, I continued on to downtown Concord and spent some time exploring one of North Carolina's most charming revitalized downtown districts. The breakfast was the perfect start to the morning. Crack of Dawn Diner has earned a spot on my repeat list whenever my travels take me through the Charlotte-Concord area.

I also ordered a side of green beans, they were also straight from the can. I also received a sweet tea, which was good but also how do you mess that up? And the kicker, $18 for that... should have stayed home. I was really hopeful for this place but after trying it twice and it was just as bland, I unfortunately will not be back.

I was impressed that they have a full bar. My best friend and I ordered espresso martinis which were compliments of another customer sitting in the bar area. The food was OK but not great, above all the customer service is what wins me over. I would actually come back here again and maybe enjoy a small plate and another espresso Martini. The only reason I wouldn't sit at the bar is because I would want Imani to be my waitress again. The bartender was super cool as well.
