Terrible with terrible service. Not to mention the inflated price for sub par everything

I came here when it very first opened - before the kinks had been worked out. I wasn't impressed. I decided to return this week and give it another try. Things have improved. I got a Paleo Club lettuce wrap. I was very impressed with it. It was really good. It had a lot of flavor for something only 300 calories and almost no carbs. The store was clean and the employees were friendly. My food came out in a reasonable amount of time. It won't be as between visits next time. I'm ready for another lettuce wrap. read more

My love of sandwiches be damned! I am so frustrated by this chain. They function by route and are unable to follow any instructions that deviate from the route. Besides writing on the bag "COLD" I had a conversation with the cashier where I pointedly mentioned that I don't want this sandwich toasted. She appeared to understand and for emphasis of that understanding she circled the world "COLD" on the bag. I shared the fact that my sandwich has been toasted against my will by this chain many times in the past. She explained that it is automatically toasted, but based on my specifications she would ensure that it was not toasted.this time. So happy was the fanatical foodie in me that I shoved not one, not even two but three dollars in their tacky tip tin that was mounted to their partition. This was in addition to the $13 I paid for a sandwich and a shake. So you can imagine my surprise when I got home to eat, I found that the bread was (you guessed it) toasted. As my blood boiled with rage... I realized that this is going to CONTINUE happening with this chain. It reminded me of an old African Proverb that goes "The third time someone tries to put a saddle on you, it's best to consider that you might just be a horse." read more

I went here when it was first opened and the wicked sandwich was amazing and packed full of meat and cheeses which makes sense because the sandwich is $15.00. Now you are lucky if you get one piece of each meat that is supposed to come on the sandwich and if you want to add extra meat to make up for them skimping on it, it'll cost you $25 for a sandwich. I get there is inflation at this point in time but charging $15 for meat and bread which used to be poverty food is ridiculous. Now you'll go into poverty just eating a sandwich. It's also not surprising that the one near Concord Mills closes down because no one wants a sandwich for the price of a meal at a steakhouse. If you do go to get a wicked sandwich go on wicked Wednesday at least they are $7 then. read more

I have loved everything that I have ordered from this restaurant. I didn't discover it until COVID and then I saw them on Postmates and gave them a try. Everything I've ordered has been delicious. The "My Favorite Salad" Is amazing. I get the Roast Beef and I love the olive salad and hot pepper mix on the sandwich. This has been one of favorite discoveries. read more

I placed an order online during the afternoon after the lunch rush. I had placed my order before I left my office which is 5 minute drive. I understand there is a 15 minute time span for my food to be ready, but with three people working behind the counter, I was expecting my food to be ready. My main concern and reason for two stars is that the whole store had an overbearing smell of deviled eggs, or cooked eggs of some sort, almost a sulfur smell which was very off putting. My other main concern is that there were three people behind the counter, one of them only making sandwiches, and a female manager with dark blonde hair and glasses and a black blouse without a mask, which makes me uneasy whenever it comes to the environment my food is being made in. Every other person on staff had one on as well. If I had not paid for my food prior online, I would have not have ate here. Food safety is a number one priority to me. My sandwich had all ingredients that it came with, the Ultimate BLT and the food tasted fine. The heaping amounts of guacamole and very little bacon made the sandwich not appealing and made it quite frankly like a guacamole sandwich. This visit was not as great as my first visit at a different location in Charlotte, but I shall try again another day. read more

I enjoy the food. It's overpriced by a dollar or two but it's good food. The issue is cleanliness. We went in at 2, and there were a lot of tables open but they weren't clean. They had food bits all over them. When I cleaned it myself, with a paper towel it made it worse. The second table was easier to clean myself and I just set more paper towels down on the table. Great location getting in, but getting out turning left is not easy. Other than that it's in a great convenient location. The staff is friendly and helpful when you are deciding which wich to choose. :) Lots of different options. I like that they have real avocado. YUM! When you go in you choose your bag and write your options down on the bag. Then take it up to the counter and they ring you up. Nice to be able to write your name on the bag so you hear your name, not just a number. Great concept and plenty of options to choose from. The shakes are yummy, but small. Good option to make it a meal with chips and a drink, but nothing healthy for a side item like a fruit cup. The bread is really soft and easy to bite into as I have an issue with tough/rubbery bread. Stopped in to get sandwiches for the family. We should have gone somewhere else. 4 regular sandwiches took 31 minutes to make. No one was in the store when we got there so it should not have took that long. They charged us for two of the same sandwich and then on one sandwich only gave us a regular when it was a large. Luckily we asked to see their receipt as none was given and we noticed both errors. We were given our money back on the items that were wrong but it was a mess and the wait was bad. Incompetent workers, poor service, don't waste your time or money. Ordered two sandwiches online and they were supposed to be ready at 12:15. Waited in the store for an extra 30 minutes before they completed the order. Meanwhile, I checked in with them three times about my order and they insisted that they were currently working on it. At least 10 different orders were done from walk-in customers before mine was ready. I even saw a couple walk in, order their sandwiches, receive their sandwiches, eat them, and leave all before I got my order. I cannot say enough amazing things about this company. I have had the opportunity to have Which Wich for catering. Really great overall. Very professional and you customized this for the event. From a visual standpoint the presentation was great. From the boxing of the sandwiches to the little details of the condiments and variety of cheese to the different beverages. Food was delicious and fresh. Delicious food with creative ideas. The flavors, the presentation, the service...everything was absolutely perfect! You start by grabbing a paper bag and filling out the form, for how you want you sandwich prepared. *you must read EVERYTHING very carefully because nothing was explained to me. I ordered 3 total sandwiches. First was a steak and cheese.. I conversed about the cheese on a steak and cheese and ordered my sandwich. Next; I made the mistake of ordering a large, with double meat and double cheese. This ONE sandwich was $17 dollars!!!! Whaaaat!!! $17 for a sandwich?? No drink/no chips or anything else!!!! WTF, still pissed but didn't realize till after I left the joint! Also, the cash register doesn't show you the cost of anything as it gets rung up. Third sub, basic ham and cheese. As I sit at a table, and wait for my subs, I realize my elbows are on top of breadcrumbs, lettuce and whatever else and was disgusting. I start looking around because the table is so disgusting, I see that they have a #8 sandwich, and it's steak and cheese! Same as sub 1. Never was it even mentioned to me, even after asking about the cheese on the steak and cheese, but no 'hey, that's a special' or anything like that. I really like this place. Yes, the concept can be a little confusing on your first visit, but I was immediately asked if I had any questions about how to place my order. They have an incredible variety of toppings to fix your sandwich just the way you want it. Lately I've been using their app to place my order, and it is ready when I get there. They offer three sizes, the small is plenty big to fill me up, and I'm a very hearty eater. My wife and I will split a large, if we both agree on the same thing. Other sandwich shops have "the one" subs that Is their best sandwich, this place has a sandwich called the WICKED; It is awesome! There rewards program is good also. read more

Just go to Subway, at least you can live with the disappointment. For a place that calls themselves a "superior sandwich" it was underwhelming and disgusting. It took ten extra minutes for my dad to get his meatball sub, and then the meatballs were still frozen. The ham sandwich I had was messy and there was very little topping on it. Negatives- So this is my first time. I was The third person in line. I waited 22 minutes to get my sandwich. I only have 30 minutes for lunch. So I thought I'd try a sandwich shop. Place is clean and a cute concept for ordering (you write your name and order on a bag and hand it in). However, the sandwiches were nothing to write home about. I got a Philly cheese steak, which had plenty of meat but barely any peppers and onions so it was basically a meat sandwich. Eh.. Ok.. Our first experience was terrible, I chalked it up to it being a new location/business. That was over a month ago. We gave them a second chance last night.. I wish I hadn't. I ordered the turkey club skinnywhich. Not only did it not have bacon on it, there were so little veggies that it was mostly bread and very dry.. Maker got the type of BREAD wrong. Big mistake to have the sandwich "remade". They just slapped those toppings on the correct type of bread which was dry and not fresh for a Monday at 12 noon. Consistently closing before closing time. Husband went at 7:35 tonight and the door was locked. Not supposed to close until 8. Grinder was amazing! I also had a chicken Pesto in a bowl(salad) and ingredients were freshest I've had in a long time. It was very satisfying to be able to get a fresh healthy meal at a good price.
