The outside is clean. The atmosphere here is very off. The staff is very unprofessional. The order was called in so when I picked up my order to go. I asked Gavin the cashier if I could have another bag because my order was too large for the bag it was in. Gavin didn't want to give me another bag. I asked for the manager and she was young and the staff doesn't respect her at all. She told me that Gavin was having a bad day because he is having family issues. Well, that's not my problem. He needs to understand that when you're at work leave outside issues outside the workplace. You're providing a professional service and you shouldn't be rude. Racism shouldn't be tolerated. The food had zero taste. The catfish is frozen patty type tilapia from Sams deep fried. The service is absolutely awful, probably because 16% gratuity is already factored in and they dont have to actually provide service. Saw the server three times. Once when she took our order, second when we asked for another drink, which never came, had to get up and go to bar to get our own. Third time when she brought ticket. The only reason this place has customers is because its the only place to get seafood in Columbus, MS. Every time the manager Whitney is there I have a horrible experience and is met with a rude attitude anytime I have an issue with my food or even just getting the food that I have paid for. She is very unprofessional and confrontational when it comes to customer service. Even when she is wrong she refuses to take accountability and make it right. I've had to get the general manager each and every time when dealing with her and she still refuses to obey her direct orders. This is the last experience that I will have with this restaurant because I will not be returning. Food is cooked and served in bags full of the seasoning you select. At the waitress' recommendation I chose the house specialty, which was all the other spices mixed together. I might just pick the Cajun next time. Timing of the food varied across our table, depending on which seafood you had ordered. I go here alllll the time. Tonight' I went and the shrimp was rubbery-mine and my husband. I called the mgr that was filling in she say. She say I can get them to redo them, or cook them some more-I told her they don't need cooking because they seem to be over cooked. She took my bag-didn't take my husband bag. She brings my bag-the same bag and tells me they re heated the bag. At this point, I'm like heated-so it's the same shrimp but even more rubbery. We ordered a 2lb crawfish boil, shrimp boil and crab fingers. At first glance, it did not appear to be 2 lbs of crawfish. Once we opened the bag, the crawfish were quite large but it wasn't a lot. This is why this place deserve a 5 piece son. It was a Sunday, its usually full on a Sunday. But the wait was just 10 mins, so it boosted the rating up. So our waitress knows us so we got the best serves. So since my brother is allergic to seafood, they let us bring him food from the outside. And when we ordered our food, we waited 10-15 mins, BOOM!!!! It was here. I got there Snow Crab with garlic butter on the side. So its easily to crack open, so when it was cracked open, you didn't see anything but crab meat. I dipped it in the garlic butter, OMG it just hit me in the face. The garlic butter has so much flavor to it, I wish I can get just a bag of garlic butter from them. And it adds more flavor to the crab. And then I had shrimp with it too. And I dipped the shrimp, OMG AGAIN So much flavor to it, plus the shrimp was mixed in the "Breaux All-In", that made it so much better. And so it came with potatoes, eggs and I believe it came with sausage if it didn't oh well, so I got the potato, hit it with a lil garlic butter, so flavor pops our saying "Hey Thank Me Later", same with the egg. First time in Columbus and first time at this establishment. The ambiance was fast casual like a slightly nicer fast food place. That's not a bad thing. I never read any reviews ahead of visiting and did not know what to expect. I was a little skeptical when I first walked in. When I looked at the menu, I expected smaller portions based on the prices. We ordered three items and an appetizer so we could sample a little bit of everything. What we got were three HUGE portions and a large appetizer. I knew we had messed up and ordered way too much. We both ate until we were stuffed and had at least two more meals to take home. We ordered fried pickles, crawfish fried rice, garlic shrimp pasta & a catfish basket that came with onion rings. It was a carb fest for sure, LOL, but everything was delicious. Surprisingly, my favorite was the fried rice with house voodoo sauce. Spicy! So, three entrees, an appetizer and four domestic beers and the tab was right at $60. Remember we have probably two more meals from the leftovers. I'll definitely make the hour and a half trip back here. Not related to the meal, but I love the tagline of "Come at me breaux!" The gumbo is pretty decent. Best in the Golden Triangle. Lots of large shrimp, perfectly cooked and the portion is very filling, even for a big eater. The cup of gumbo is the largest I have seen and would serve as an entree for those who like small portions. The jambalaya is authentic, but authentic jambalaya is mostly rice. If you understand that before you order, I think you will be very happy with it. Both the gumbo and jambalaya are perfectly spiced with a mild, building heat. Unfortunately my lunch companions and I did not care for any of the po-boys or fried items. I would avoid them. There is little of interest on the beer list for craft beer lovers. I am always surprised when a Louisiana cuisine restaurant does not have Parish Envie on the list. I think they miss an opportunity by not having a New Orleans Sunday brunch with beignets and cafe au lait. read more

After many trials, we were able to sample BB's offerings. The atmosphere is very casual and good for families. My daughter tried the cup of gumbo and it looked pretty good. It was flavorful with tender chicken, sausage and a good size shrimp. They were sold out on the calamari but the cheese sticks were nothing special. The steamed seafood in a bag comes either 1/2 or 1lb. I had the 1/2 mussels and clams with the Breaux all mix-in sauce. We also had fried oysters chicken tenders and fish and chips. I would go back for the steamed seafood. The sauce was delicious. Shellfish was tender and sweet. Some rolls would have been perfect except the oven was broken. Since Breaux Bridge opened, I've eaten here 2-3 times. I've never actually dined in the restaurant, only gotten take out. Each time I tried calling this place, they put me on hold, and instead of picking back up, they hung up. It took 30-45mins to get someone to stay on the phone and actually take my order whenever I called. The first time I ordered from here, they told me over the phone that they had fried blue crab claws. When I picked up my order, I received boiled blue crab legs, not fried blue crab claws. They then proceeded to tell me that they don't have fried blue crab claws, despite saying they did before I even placed the order. Anyways, the food is average. It's nothing spectacular, and definitely not worth what they charge for it. read more
