We found a good looking one for $30 and took her home. The tree itself lasted through xmas and turned out perfect. The staff were nice and secured it to our car tightly. Oh! And they have a tree inside where you pay that has a train track around the middle part of the tree, floating! So badass, I have never seen that before. Now I am on a mission to find one!

Right off the bat everyone was so helpful, never pushy, and they gave us great tips for our landscaping project, which is a long backyard walkway. Fast forward to this Saturday, we came back with the price sheet in hand and a few questions. Folks at Clearview answered our questions and gave more tips. Their tips always save you money, by the way. We ordered 4 different materials, about ~6.5 cubic yards total. Order placed on Saturday, arrived on Monday. On schedule and unloaded super quickly and neatly such that we still can park our car. Such a great and friendly experience all around for our first time ordering bulk materials that we highly recommend this supplier! The super-sacs are an extra cost, but not too much. They're convenient when ordering bulk materials that are different on the same truck. At the end of the day the prices with shipping are still very competitive, and you can't beat the service and professional advice. We'll be back for our next project, and highly recommend you visit and check it out for yourself!

I have been a customer at Ace Hardware in Mukilteo for almost 30 years. In that time they almost…read morealways were able to take care of all of my needs as far as my yard and house were concerned...ntil today. I called them to purchase a wheelbarrow and I asked them to deliver it to me, here i. mukilteo. He told me "Oh, we don't deliver outside 3 miles", and suggested I contact "one of our larger stores who have more emplyees." Which steuck me as a bumch of garbage, but I called the Silver Lake store. The lady I talked to was wonderful, and was also a resident of Mukilteo. She couldn't believe what I hD been told. "Let me give them a call for you." I went outside and worked for a little over an hour. No call. I came back in and called Silver Lake again. "They haven't called you yet??" "Nope." "Let me call them again." She called right back to tell me that" when I got the manager and gave him my name, he hung up on me" (!!) So I contacted Ace corporate to lodge a formal complaint. I was put on hold for 20 minutes and was told"I lodged your complaint with the store manager and you should be hearing from him soon." I told him I was mot holding my breath for that call.( that never came.) Meanwhile the gal from Silver Lake called back and offered to deliver from her store for a small fee. I told her "thank you so much for going above and beyond, but I won't give Ace Hardware another nickel of my money."

If I'm displeased, I generally chalk it up to someone having a bad day or, if repeated consistently, I go elsewhere. (Praise should be public, criticism private). I unfortunately don't recall names, but it was pretty much everyone there from floor to register. I had just gotten new plates for my car... just came from DoL after 3rd time trying interstate title transfer. (I'll leave those details to your imagination...) I realized I needed a special tool in order to mount them. I came here because it's super close to work and they'd always been very helpful previously. It appeared a little bit of a reset was happening so things were little disorganized in some regard. Changing seasonal merch and all that fun.) but every one on the floor began to help look for what I needed, then get the different bolts to use and even replaced the bolts so I didn't have to purchase new tools (that I already have, just in storage and inaccessible at the moment). The level of helpful patience was beyond anything expected. Ever. I've worked in various customer service jobs my entire life. I know people can be exhausting. They spent a good 30+ minutes (of course taking turns helping others with the same friendly attitude when they came in) for ultimately a $6 sale. I've been to this Ace numerous times over the past decade or so and always a very good experience and excellent service. This time deserves a special shout out. I hope the crew that day all see this and know how much it meant to me. Thank you. I'd give more stars if I could.

Roozengaarde Display Garden & Store

This was my first time visiting the RoozenGaarde Tulip Festival, and by the time we left, I was…read morealready saying, "We need to come back next year." I've seen photos of the tulip fields before, but nothing prepared me for seeing them in person. The colors seem to go on forever, and there are so many different varieties of tulips. Everywhere you look feels like a postcard. Honestly, the pictures I took don't even come close to capturing how beautiful it is. A little tip for anyone visiting: wear garden boots or rain boots if there's been recent rain. The parking area is gravel, and some spots can get pretty muddy. Thankfully, there are plenty of porta-potties near the entrance before you head into the farm. The staff were so friendly and helped direct everyone where to go. As you walk toward the fields, you get a little preview of the tulips ahead, and I remember thinking, "Wow, this is beautiful." Then we got into the actual fields and realized that was just the beginning. There were so many great spots for photos. On the day we visited, the sky had those big fluffy white clouds, and the colorful fields reminded me of the Teletubbies landscape my son used to watch when he was little. It felt almost surreal. I also loved that this is clearly a family farm. There was food, a gift shop, and even a catalog where you can order bulbs to grow some of these beautiful flowers at home. The whole area has that small-town, community feel that just makes you slow down and enjoy where you are. Knowing that your visit helps support a local family farm makes it even better. And the mountain backdrop behind the tulip fields? Absolutely incredible. Every time I thought I'd found the prettiest view, I'd turn around and find another one. If you're thinking about going, do it. Just be sure to stay on the paths and help protect the flowers for everyone else. This was one of those places that left me smiling the whole drive home.

The crowd comes with the territory. What really stood out was how well-organized everything was. Staff were actively directing traffic for parking and foot traffic which made the arrival process surprisingly smooth given the turnout. It's clear the organizers put thought into the logistics. The flower variety was truly awesome! Sooo many stunning colors and blooms that you just don't see every day. If you're a photography lover then this place is a dream. Every corner was practically begging to be photographed. They did have concessions on-site, which was convenient but my one suggestion would be to bring in a couple of food carts or local vendors to mix things up. The options were pretty basic. Think hotdogs and the usual staples. A little more variety in the food department would really elevate the whole experience. Minor food note aside, it was a fantastic visit and a perfect way to spend a spring day.

My recent trip resulted in an impulse buy of a jar of the best mango chili jam and the most beautiful strawberries. You get a level of quality and service that bigger stores would never provide. For example, they will re-pot your plant for free (if you purchase plant and pot from them). And they offer container design to help your plant placements benefit the most from their environment. These are amazing perks for a novice gardener like me! They also offer delivery which is great for getting tall plants or larger/heavier orders home, and have master gardener clinics on Saturdays from spring through summer. Pricing can range from relatively affordable to pretty high - just depends on what you're looking for.
