They were to the point when they came out for an estimate and were upfront about everything. They didn't try to upsell or talk trash about other window companies (which another company did when they came out...but I digress). Communication with the company was excellent. The people in the office were always courteous and helpful via email. They promptly got back to us with scheduling and answers to the few questions we had. When the day came for installation, they arrived at the early side of the time window and got right to business. The team of two were friendly and kind. They worked efficiently and cleaned up after themselves. In a handful of hours they were finished! A few days later we received an email making sure we were pleased with the work. They were quick with the work, but there was a breakdown in communication that led to us not getting what we thought we were getting. The in-home sales rep said we would be getting operable windows put in, but they only replaced the existing glass that was not operable. The quote was a little confusing and when I asked for clarification, the response made me feel like it was obvious and that I should have known hat the quote was saying. Another issue I had was that one of the windows they installed has a dent on the metal inside the pane between the sheets of glass. When I asked the guy to just flip the glass around so I couldn't see the dent, he said that he wouldn't because "I am not good at that and would probably break the glass. You should do it yourself and if you break it, it's only like 60$ to replace it". That's not what i paid for. And the last issue I will bring up in this review is that one of the operable windows they installed has a tab running the length of the window to use to lift up the window to open it. They installed it even though one of the corners of the tab was bent. Again, I did not pay money to them to have already damaged product installed and then be told to fix it myself. Overall, the work was fine and everything technically works, but there were definitely issues with the quality control of the windows themselves and a breakdown of communication that led to an unsatisfactory end result. Breeze Free was a referral through PSE. I had 3 companies quote on window replacement for old aluminum framed, double pane windows. Breeze Free was not only the best price but the higher quality windows. Installation was completed yesterday and we are extremely happy with the installation and the quality of the windows. Installation was a 2-day process. After each day, the rooms with the new windows were cleaned, the windows were washed and sealed. There was no damage to the landscaping nor to the window sills. The new windows have made an immediate impact. The house is warmer and less drafty. The outside noise level is greatly reduced. The crew was great! I approved their $1500 quote They told me they would let me know when they had the glass and would let me know when they would be able to install it. After not hearing from them for 6 weeks I called them to inquire. After 20 minutes of run around. I finally got them to admit they had never ordered it. No apology, but they told me they could order it now and install it in 2 weeks. I asked for $100 off the cost for their mistake. They said they couldn't change the price. Decided to do a small door project prior to my large front door project. Wanted to use a smaller local business to support businesses in my area. From the start everyone was delightful to deal with. Good communication with e-mail, prompt. Until installation. Installers were great..except I totally didn't get the door I was expecting. Guess the communication wasn't so good after all! And they aren't interested in making it right. Glad I did this trial run before my bigger front door project. Buyer beware. When they send you the copy of the order be sure you call for specifics since the jargon is unfamiliar and hard to decipher. It would be nice if they called you to be sure everything is correct but that would be a stretch. read more

These guys were absolutely amazing! Like other people said, they quoted the lowest price, so I was a little worried at first. But they were patient with us and really worked with us to replace all the windows in the house with the energy efficient ones with the PSE discount, which I highly recommend. When the customer representative came to my house it turned out he was not vaccinated against Covid and refused to wear a mask in my home. Breeze Fee Window and Door has been absolutely outstanding in every regard. We had a major window installation in 2015 followed by three additional visits to install more windows, replace a double pane glass panel that had failed (not their window) and to install an interior door. John is a craftsman of the highest calibre and now his son Cory carries on the tradition of excellent service and value. Today Cory has made a second trip to address a leak in a window that actually is the result of vertical siding failure and not related to their window installation. In spite of that, Cory is attending to the matter, free of charge, six years after the installation. I wouldn't write a review like this were it not for our long-term, entirely positive relationship. Glad we ended up calling Breeze Free. They did a great job on the install and agreed to come out for a single window and a couple weather seals we needed replaced on existing doors and windows. (Most places we called before Breeze Free wouldn't bother with single-window jobs.) The window we ordered was a double hung privacy glass window for our bathroom. Install went well, but I miscommunicated about the privacy glass. They were very accommodating about replacing the glass. Also, apparently the window that we needed new weather stripping was pretty tough to find parts for. They got creative and found something quickly for us and I couldn't be happier with the end result. Will definitely use them again. read more

I asked for an estimate for a tech to come out at 4:45pm, I was told they are a family business and only work until 4pm. I don't think I was asking a lot, as people work 8-4pm or 9-5pm. I was told "he needs to be with his family" that I would be causing harm to a family asking this horrific time of day - this is 4:45 PM not AM mind you, this is terrible customer service and obviously do not need the business. read more

I wanted to give them a better rating but due to a couple concerns I just couldn't rate them more than average. This is due largely to poor communication and damage to our ornamental tree. Had they been upfront about the damage to the tree I wouldn't have been as upset. But we were left to discover the damage and the broken glass on our own it was not brought to our attention Also last-minute changes in appointments were frustrating. They admitted installing the wrong size screens and at first agreed to replace them at no charge. But after finding out that the warranty would not cover them they told me they changed their minds and refused to replace them at no charge. It wasn't my fault they installed the wrong size screens. read more

Windows were sealed after the exterior trim was put back on, so that there are smudgy visible caulk lines around the windows. Had to call the window manufacturer a couple of weeks after the install because the windows wouldn't close. The manufacturer rep came and repaired them and said that they weren't square when installed and so wouldn't close. They promised to come out and look at the bad caulk job but never showed up. This was a really expensive mistake. read more

A bit surprised that this is the 1st review on this excellent business. We will recommend Breeze Free Window & Door to anyone. Two of the things that "won" them our small project work was their (1) professionalism in knowing their products and getting the information to us right away and (2) their timing in being able to get and install our window. We recently had a break-in and theft in our home, through our front sidelight window being broken through to open the front door. We originally were recommended a handyman business to replace the window, and they did not deliver. They visited our home and took measurements, but a week later, they never got back to us with even an estimate of the replacement options they talked about despite several e-mail follow-ups and actually speaking with them again on the phone. They kept saying they were working on it or didn't even reply back to us. Tired of waiting and living with a broken through window that still posed a greater security risk, we called another contractor that was recommended on Yelp, but they do not do smaller projects and recommended a couple of window companies they work with to replace windows that break on their remodel/ renovation projects. One of them was Breeze Free Window & Door, and Lynne Statton (one of the owners) got us estimates the same day based on our description, e-mailed photo of, and our rough measurement of the window and went over the more secure options for that type of window and preventing future break-ins. Her husband, John Statton, happened to be able to come out the same afternoon to confirm the measurement and type of window to replace, and our window was finally replaced on their first delivery day of the following week. We chose to replace our old, basic tempered glass that we inherited when we moved-in with a laminate/ tempered/ thicker window they recommended that will make it harder to break through again. Had we known about them from the beginning, our window most likely would have been replaced within a week rather than almost two weeks. This is the type of home or business-focused install/ repair/ replacement company you rely on to get you to an improved normal or to a better, more secure normal for your window needs. read more
