I started out with the Door house almost 18 years ago when they installed the garage doors on my new construction home. Over the years I have had panels replaced (my damage), and new motors put in. Also I called them out for two repairs in particular when I thought the doors were not working. In both cases it was something I had not done or done incorrectly that caused the problem. Each time they corrected MY problem but never charged me!! Kelly has done the majority of my work, and he is always kind, arrives on time, and fixes the problem. I always think the prices are at market value or better. Anyway I highly recommend this company. The administrative side with phone answering and scheduling always works well too! We replaced our three original garage doors with new ones from here. The price was our main motivator, to be honest. However, I can now say that the service was great too and I've been telling everyone about this store, because a lot of our neighbors are hitting that point where they need new doors too. The only reason I couldn't give them 5 stars was due to their hours. Monday through Friday 8-4, and sometimes closing early on Fridays? Working a normal 9-5 job with a commute it was very difficult to get down here to see the samples.. What a rip off! I was told they couldn't give me a price over the phone instead had to have the tech come out, fine. When he arrived to fix the broken spring on my 1 car garage door he quoted a price of $500. I told the installer I had received a price of $250 which he quickly said he would match. Why do I have to haggle? 2 weeks later I have the other garage door replaced by a different company. Great price right off the bat, $175, plus they put on 2 springs, greased my track and tightened loose bolts. The also provided a 3 year warranty - which this place may or may not, but there isn't anything noted on the paper work. My advice is to look elsewhere. There are companies out there who will actually care about the customers and do the little extra to ensure satisfaction. read more

The best garage door company! Called them years ago to do some fix it work which came up on inspection report of house we bought. Come to find out, this company installed garage doors when homes were originally built years ago. What luck to call this company. This week, we had an issue with a door coming off the track and door wouldn't close. The guy came out within 30 minutes--this is not first time they've done this for us. Super impressed with the service. I corresponded with Tayler via email and got a rough estimate based on various scenarios. They were super accommodating with my schedule. Kelly got here right at 9am with a service window of 8-10. He fixed the door quickly and let me know ahead of time the cost. I'm kicking myself for having our torsion spring replaced this past summer by a generic, "national" garage door company as it was expensive and seemed kind of shady. Great Company to do business with. We were referred from a previous customer who had a positive experience with them. I emailed them from their website and Tayler responded quickly. They sent a man out to our house who measured the size of the garage, and the same day she sent us the information. I also sent three pictures of styles that I liked and received quotes for all three. We ended up also buying a new garage door opener from them too since our whole set up in our new house was terrible. I appreciated the responsiveness and the communication, and the quick installation date. The man who installed was very knowledgeable, and went above and beyond installing our door for us and putting in the opener, and the garage door opener button in our garage. A spring broke on my garage door, and not being a handy guy, I needed help getting it fixed. I actually needed all 4 springs replaced, and some pulleys too... maybe some cables... the system was 20 years old and tired out, though the track and motor are still good. First, I called a national chain that promised same-day service, and they came out right away. That's about the only good thing I can say about them, though. The tech was smarmy and grating, and the price quote was outrageous... about $1200. I couldn't stand the guy or the prices so I paid the $50 service fee and sent him away. Then I called Best Little Doorhouse in Everett. I had to wait a few days for an appointment, because they are a small family-owned shop. But when the father & son team showed up, they treated me well an fixed my garage door for about $400--parts & labor. They also tightened the torsion spring on my 3rd bay door for no charge. They didn't try to upsell me, or charge ridiculous rates on anything. It was a great transaction and I'd recommend Best Little Doorhouse to anyone needing garage door work. read more

I can't say enough great things about "The Doorhouse," or as it used to be called, "The Best Little Doorhouse," to give you an idea how good it was to do business with them. After having a very bad experience with a couple other companies, who were not anywhere near a quality company they appeared to be online, I called "The Doorhouse" and right away was put at ease over the phone. I was dealing with a person who didn't need to transfer me to anyone or put me on hold to answer my questions. He was able to give me a quote over the phone for a new garage door system instead of coming out to my house and - we scheduled the appointment in a two hour window, instead of a day!!! He came out when he said and did a fantastic job!! To top it off, he came out in an impressive company truck with the company logo, unlike the other companies. We had damage to two of the four garage panels. Another company quoted us over $1000+ to replace two panels. I was shocked. Kelly from The Best Little Door House came out and offered to fix the existing door panels by installing a brace instead for $170! I have a solution that should be long lasting and it was much easier to swallow than the other "solution" I was given by a competitor. I so appreciate not being gouged and I value the honesty and integrity which is the way of doing business at "The Best Little Door House" of Everett, WA.
