We had 12 front windows replaced on our house recently. We went for the Milgard Style Line Series vinyl windows with Low E 270 glass to help with heat gain and UV rays. We took several estimates and ultimately decided to go with Goldfinch. They have been around 125 years. Rich Bryant our salesman was very thorough and took the time to explain windows 101. lol The crew was very meticulous and paid attention to little details. If I could give them a ZERO STAR, I would! Ordered a FIRE Door at the cost of OVER $2500.00. They requested 1/2 down, which is fine. The order was placed 9/28/2020. Scott called and scheduled our install for November 25, 2020. Installer's came and the door was 2 inches SHORT and the HINGES were on the wrong side and door was opening to the wrong side! Installer's said they would have to resched. and would be called by SCOTT..... NOTHING from Scott. Called and left two messages, no return call. Decided we would not be doing business with them as they have had OUR MONEY for more then 2 MONTHS, with NO CALL BACK!...Went in to the office to CANCEL the ORDER and Trish said she would put a LEAN on OUR HOME if we canceled.... I had goldfinch brothers come out to give me a price on what it would coast to put in a new window for my house. They came out and a day later I received a price on what it would coast to replace that window. So I went and order the window and put half down for the job to be done and it has been over a month now, no one has called and it is hard to get ahold of someone, poor customer service. read more

I made two trips to their showroom and sent a couple of emails requesting information and a bid for Milgard windows. New home -- about $20,000 worth of windows needed. This was the worst experience of my life. They were late on delivery, the salesman was totally unresponsive to my wishes. I wanted rolling screens and easy wash windows. We spent over 60000.00 on Marvin windows for our house and did not get the 2 features we desired and asked for. To make matters worst, they sold us the wrong window for the root cellar and would not take it back when we discovered it was not to code. Their salesman, Doug, did not know the code. The owner refused to return my calls. Don't do business with these people - they will not look out for your best interests. read more

Just had a blown windowpane pulled out and replaced in less than 30 minutes. Cam and Scott did neat, clean, efficient work and I could not have asked for a better experience with having new glass installed. So... Why only 4 stars? This is the second go round at installation; the salesguy mis-measured the height of the window frame and we had to wait an extra week for the (corrected) order to come through. (We were replacing a fixed window, he measured the height of the sliding window on the side of the pane we wanted replaced ~2" difference in height) They are also by far the most reasonably priced quote we got, even if their pricing structure is rather opaque. read more

My experience with Goldfinch Brothers was good with the exception of three different responses to needing new screens that resulted in having less than I needed repaired/replaced. However on the day of installation the installer informed me I had Millgard Windows being as how I am the original owner everything I just paid $1100 for would have been free if I had called Millgard. The business integrity is lacking. The office during the first call to the man who came to measure could/should have suggested I check into that. After a window at my local Everett Business was broken, I called around several places only to be told that I would have to wait 3-5 business days to have the non sliding part of my double pane window repaired. So, I called Goldfinch and to my delight was told that they had the capability to fix my window the same day. I was so impressed only 20 minutes after I called, they showed up to give me an estimate. 4 hours later they showed up with my new window. I had them get me glass for an internal kitchen door. I choose to have them install it because I figured they would do a better job than me so I got the cheap version of install which was to just caulk it, but I assumed for $40 they would make it look professionally done. When I got the door I checked the quality of work and it was horrible!!! when I realized I paid them $40 to slap on $2 caulk and they did a worse job than I can do (I just caulked floorboard in my bathroom), I requested money back. Their response was that they would give me some trim pieces that I could put on myself or they would do it for another $20 (I refused the offer). I would never recommend this company to anyone. read more
