I have been to Harold's hundreds of times, but I just realized I have never done a review?!? We love Harold's and always have a great meal and wonderful service. I always, and I mean always, get Captain Rods basket, but I wanted something lighter. I got mahi mahi tacos with tators...always get them with ranch! My husband was on a diet for a surgery and got chicken breast, rice, and veggies. We both enjoyed our dinner and of course the hot dinner rolls.

Harold's has been around just about forever! Known for their Chicken and Taters, It is a generous helping of chicken, a thigh/breast/leg. Cooked to perfection with a huge side of their famous taters. Tonight we did not order wings, but Harold's has some of the best wings around. 5 HUGE full wings with an assortment of toppings to choose from. First time having Parmesan Lemon Chicken and Angel Hair Pasta. Oh yes...I will have this again. This also was a generous portion that had me getting a take home container to enjoy at home tomorrow! The wait staff is very friendly and accommodating. There is plenty of parking. Take out is available too! Also on Fridays they are known for their fish sandwiches. The bar makes a wonderful, original mule too! Harold's has a catering menu and has room to handle larger get togethers too. there is a great dessert menu...check out my pictures! If you go on Friday they have a wonderful coconut creamm pie!

I stopped in on a weeknight about 10 mins before they were closing (I didn't realize their closing time when I came in, which was 8:30PM on this particular evening), but I got great, friendly and accommodating service! I heard about their potatoes and really wanted to try them, so I knew I was getting those, but this night was rib night and that sounded good too, and their housemade crab cakes also appealed to me - so I got all of that! The crab cake was really good! A decent amount of meat inside and not too much filler/binder, but seasoned really nicely! The cole slaw that came with it was really good, I always appreciate a nice cole slaw!! And the ribs were decent! They had a nice BBQ sauce on them and they were tender, not dry, but I didn't taste any smoke/fire, so I would assume they might have been baked and finished on a flame, perhaps? Either way, they were good. But those potatoes were excellent! Definitely unlike anything I've tried before! The bartender told me they put that same spice set on their chicken and wings, so if I ever came back, I'd try those for sure! Definitely worth stopping in for a meal, they do a nice job here! It's also just a few minutes away from PIT airport and since I was staying in Moon, it was a very quick drive.

While visiting family we stopped in for some wings at their neighborhood Harold's. The service was amazing and very friendly. We started with their fried zucchini with horsey sauce which was very tasty. We shared a large order of jumbo wingettes with blue cheese dressing. The first few wings, the bigger ones, were really good. Half of the order were smaller sized wings and they were dry and overcooked. The mountain seasoning was really good. Just wished the wings were either bigger or not cooked as long.

We had an amazing meal at Harold's Inn tonight! Celebrating McConnels farms peaches....peach mule with peach flatbread with prosciutto!!

If you order wings always ask for extra sauce, the wet flavor wings come out too dry. They're too skimpy on the sauce for some reason ? Also, not sure why...but the wing basket of celery and carrots comes out like 10min before the wings. Pictured: Patrick's hot - It's got some heat... but very edible. Catches up after a few. Blu cheese is ok. It's got nice chunks but the dressing side is very lite Cheers!

Not sure why I expected anything different when we went there today. Today's experience: Our server took our order in a very reasonable timeframe, but we waited close to 50 minutes for our food to arrive. And this was on a weekday; they were busy but not packed. No one came by to provide any kind of explanation. When the food finally arrived, my fries were cold and we had to ask twice for refills on our beverages. We had to go to the bar to get utensils and napkins because the server never brought them. As we were leaving, a couple at another table had just gotten their food and had the same problem-- they needed utensils and napkins. This isn't the first time we've experienced very slow service at Patrick's Pub. I don't know what the issue is, but I'm sorry to say I probably won't ever go back to Patrick's for a meal.

It serves wood-fired cuisine that uses locally raised meats, house-made pasta, and seasonal vegetables. Currently, during the winter, examples of menu items are small plates (e.g., roasted beet salad and heirloom carrots), mid courses (e.g., linguine and blue-bay mussels), large plates (e.g., sesame soy-glazed eggplant, pork chop, and picanha), desserts (e.g., pistachio cake and Kahlua fudge brownie), and alcoholic beverages (e.g., cocktails, mocktails, wines, and beers). For my husband and me, I made a reservation for dinner through the Resy website. I chose from options of the dining room, a four-season patio with awnings and heaters, and a chef's counter with a view of the kitchen. Please note that although the foods are upscale, the dress code seems to be smart casual. We parked our vehicle in a lot a short walk away. Upon our arrival to the restaurant, a seating hostess promptly greeted and seated us. Our server provided courteous and attentive service, such as taking our order and bringing our foods on time, refilling our waters, and cleaning my crumbs. We started with a Crab Cake with decent amount of crab meat, mushroom duxelles, tasty truffle aioli, and a side of arugula salad. My main course was Branzino with sides of beans-vegetables and parmesan cornbread. My husband's main course was Duck Breast with a blood-orange demi-glace, asparagus, and potatoes. I thought that everything tasted very good. The total price was $96 plus tax, 3% credit-card surcharge, and tip.

Here's what we ordered: 1. Duck toast - get it. It's great. Milk bread with duck. Solid. Two slices 2. Zuchini crab cake - I enjoyed though hubs thought it was just fine. I appreciated the greens with it. 3. Chicken - a little sweet. Gboochi is solid. 4. Black cod - Neither of us cared for it. It didn't have a lot of taste. Ramps were tasty. Honestly, not a great birthday dinner.
