I went in on Monday and told them I needed to have it done by that Friday at the latest since their party was on Saturday. From the moment I called I was treated with kindness. Walking in to the shop they took her measurments right away and assured me it would be ready by Friday. Come Friday, I called a couple times to make sure it would be ready for pick up. I was working with a limited time window and the young lady was never rude. She even rushed to finish so I can pick it up before I had to go to work. Went here for Wedding dress alterations and they did AMAZING!!!! and we're reasonably priced. I needed sleeves added to my dress and the seamstress created them just how I wanted them . Bonus of adding glitter tulle to the lace/tulle sleeves , added the sparkle I needed I originally drove all the way to Menlo Park to see a high rated yelp seamstress but she was rude and said couldn't create sleeves out of nothing . However at Brenda's they made it possible and were very friendly . Planning for a Wedding already stressful and Brenda's Fashion made it less. The owner was even making dad jokes with my son while he pinned him up, which made my son more comfortable. We brought this dress for my daughters prom dress here cause she loved the dress! We went down the street to the other dress shop and found another dress she loved, but we decided to go with the dress at Brenda's because of the service we received. The dress she tried on was a 6 I ordered a size 2 and paid for a size 2. I went to pick the dress up 2 weeks later, and it said size 6. The worker called Brenda and Brenda claimed they didn't have any in a size 2 and they can provide alterations for free. I was never notified "the company didn't have any in a size 2". I accepted the alterations for free because what are they going to do give me my money back? WRONG! We picked up the dress yesterday 4/12 she tried it on a there was a jump where her butt is. They blamed it on her butt because it's round, tried to fix it again and no it didn't get fixed. We live in Modesto, so I wanted to beat traffic, so she tried it on when we got home that night and I realized the zipper is off to the left side vs the middle of her back! Thinking about it this morning, I really believe they just put away the size 6 she tried on and didn't attempt to order a new one smh. Karma never misses an address and I hope this company gets a visit soon! So far I'm only out $254.00, but now I have to get it altered by my lady and pay more for them to take it out so the zipper can be along her back and not off to the side!! read more

We purchased a $200+ tiara and within 30 days, stones fell out snd prongs had broken off. I contacted the store, the associate who helped me was great and communicative. The owner stated they would do nothing but put the stones back in. With what, superglue?! Because the prongs are broken. Although the receipt said all sales final, I wasn't looking for a return. Just an exchange because this product was clearly defective. It wasn't worn by a child, during a ceremony, or handled roughly. It was in the box 95% of the time I owned it. After contacting the manufacturer, it is clear why the store has the all sales final policy. If the item is defective, the manufacturer will only replace it for the store, not the customer. This is not a normal process. Most manufacturers will have a warranty of some sort, regardless who purchases it. So this store has $200+ of my money and refuses to assist in dealing with a defective product they sold. Being that it wasn't a custom item, not on clearance, and defective, the least they could have done was an exchange. read more

With all of this craziness going on right now and proms getting canceled you would think that they would stay in communication with their customers. I've made several attempts to contact them about a refund or just to ask a simple question. I've left numerous voicemails and no response. My wife and I had a great experience here. They made inexpensive and quick alterations to a bridesmaid's dress that we didn't even purchase from them. They were all very professional, especially the tailor who took my wife's measurements. (The dress needed to be taken in a full size.) They gave us an estimate of 5 days since it was the holidays and then called us in 3 days, saying it was ready. Brenda's Fashions is the worst place to do business at. This business can't do anything correct. I recently got married and I thought that this would be a good place to have my wedding party and myself rent tuxes at ( since Richards closed).Very wrong of me to think that taking measurements and ordering tuxedos was a no brainer since that was what the business is all about but I guess it's rocket science. There were 6 of is getting sized and out of 6 there were 6 suits that didn't fit. From pants that couldn't button, high waters, jackets that wouldn't go over the arms or button close to my vest and tie not being with my suit when I went to get it 3 days before the wedding. These clowns had us going back and forth at the last minute. I along side with my groomsmen are real busy and we had to go back after work( which we work in the bay so it was hard to fit in). I sent my son to pick up my tux when he got his on Wednesday since all I needed was a vest and tie, not thinking that I should had tried it on before I travelled 200 miles to Tahoe. I was getting ready and right when I tried to put my vest on it was TOO SMALL!! Yep, they messed up on my vest too!! Man, it was the most uncomfortable 6 hours of my life . These guys had my size and ordered me a medium vest. I'm 6-00 and 220 lbs and I couldn't believe it,, it was bad enough we had to go back multiple times to get something to fit but I had a vest that was 2 sizes too small. If you want a tuxedo rental I would advise you to go somewhere else. The middle finger is up and the thumbs are down with these clowns!! read more

My future sister in law went in today, looking and wedding gowns for myself, I found a gown I really wanted to try on, I was waiting for the fitting room and a gentleman said "what do you want?
