We did experience a slight hiccup with pickup times not being aligned, but Dorothy worked quickly to make sure that our order was fulfilled in time. The florists are always ready to help wrap an already made bouquet, give houseplant advice, whatever. My favorite thing when I want a mini bouquet for myself is to just ask them if they can whip something together for like $25. It's always cute and tiny and perfect for my kitchen. I've done the same for gifts and they always come out so lovely and thoughtfully arranged, but you do have to go like $35+ to get something sizeable. Also gotta shout out that the peonies that I was sent from here were not only were stunners but lasted soooo much longer than ones from other shops. I don't have too many houseplants from this shop, but was gifted a tiny succulent like 2+ years ago from here and it is growing and happy and THRIVING. The flowers were successfully delivered on time, but unfortunately never made their way to the room at the hospital and my friend was never notified by hospital staff of the delivery. Given that I live in Florida, I was unable to get in touch with anyone at the hospital who could help locate the delivery before my friend was discharged from the hospital. However, Cathy at Bouquets & Baskets was so kind, and went above and beyond to resolve the issue. She graciously offered to pick the flowers up from the hospital, freshen the bouquet, and have the flowers re-delivered directly to my friend's home at no additional cost. The selection was plentiful and prices were $45+, depending on size. I chose the Deluxe Wild Child option which is the designers choice. I figured they would make something amazing. I left a note for the florist that the recipient loves bright colors, roses, and exotic flower to help with the decision. I'm in a different time zone and the day was passing by without an update. I gave Rosaspina a call and the knew exactly my order, was very pleasant on the phone, and was also eager to celebrate. I was told a photo of the flowers would be sent to me as well. The flowers were delivered an hour or so later. I wasn't sure what to expect. Well, the flowers turned out to be a piece of art. Absolutely stunning! A bright birthday bouquet that was perfect. I loved the detailed email updates, the studio photo of the creation, and the delivery was wonderful. The flowers came in a stylish square vase. Cost: $58 for standard, $115 for deluxe, and $173 for premium. $20 for hand delivery. I left a $10 tip for their excellent service. This local florist in Montclair, NJ is top tier. Thank you!

My 700th review!…read more I've always noticed this garden center near the exit of the Holland Tunnel. When I was hunting for garden centers in the area, this came up with great reviews and I decided to check it out. It was definitely better than expected. They had a really nice selection of both indoor and outdoor plants. I came looking specifically for hydrangeas, and they probably had 10 to 15 varieties available - some needing full sun and some needing partial. The gentleman that was working there was very friendly. I wanted two plants that looked similar to sit side-by-side by my front door. He helped me choose the variety, and two plants that looked the most similar. We ended up deciding on the candy apple variety by Monrovia. It needs full sun and should bloom through summer with blooms that will last till October. Once I paid, they carried the plants out to the car for me, laid plastic in my car and packed everything for me. I thought this was really a nice service. This is definitely more expensive than Home Depot, but they carry much nicer product with wider variety and better service. Especially if you're just looking for a couple plants, I would definitely come here instead. I asked about some fall perennial plants, and he recommended I come back after Halloween to check out what they'll have in season for winter. I will definitely be back.
