Dr. Picard and his extremely helpful staff made me feel at ease and explained things in detail so I could make the best decisions about my care. I ended up going with just a local anesthesia and it was more than fine. They did everything you'd expect from an oral surgeon's office, sending me home with a bag of gauze, instructions, when to call, etc as well as a new soft toothbrush. The receptionist even called me a few hours after I got home just to see how I was holding up. Classy and appreciated! The address is on Madison, but it's actually best to park behind the building (between Morrison and Carabel) and enter that way.

Had I wanted it done sooner, they actually had an appointment opening within a week as well. Day of the procedure everything went fine. Everyone was really nice and since I didn't have to be put to sleep, the doctor and his two surgical assistants communicated to me throughout the duration of the procedure as to what was going on. I was sent home with a soft toothbrush, Sockit gel wound dressing and clear instructions on icing, care, etc. I was also given a pain prescription, but ended up not needing it. Afterwards I was able to get an appointment on the same day I called when I was experiencing after surgery pain. Everyone in the office was really nice and friendly and genuinely seemed caring and concerned about how I felt. I never felt rushed or an inconvenience. The two surgical assistants were super friendly and approachable and were willing to answer lots of questions. They were both genuine conversationalists which worked wonders for getting your mind off why you were there. Dr Picard himself was very personable and willing to answer any questions as well. He came off as very knowledgeable and confident which made trusting him to do what was needed easy. If I ever have any oral concerns in the future, I will definitely keep this friendly practice in mind.

Not only is the staff friendly and knowledgeable, but they didn't make me feel embarrassed about not having been seen in a while. Alycia did my cleaning and Jessica did my husband's cleaning. Both ladies were friendly, gentle, and explained everything they were doing and the why behind it. Dr. Fike came in and introduced herself and discussed the practice and the services they offer. There was no pressure to agree to any of the other services they provide, like clear aligners for cosmetic purposes. Karen at the front desk was so accommodating and cheerful. There were a few other ladies in office who were also friendly and greeted us, but I didn't catch their names. I also have an adult son with level 2 Autism and he has anxiety and some ticks that are associated with his anxiety. Upon arriving at the office on July 16 at 9:15 I had said that I was here for my 9:15 appointment....I was greeted and told that I did not have an appointment scheduled for that day. I had cut a vacation short to make sure I had made it to this initial appointment...after waiting some 4 mos. give or take a week or two.... I handed the receptionist my paperwork and appointment card that had the appointment time on it and was told that I had to reschedule for the following wednesday, because a hygenist had called off, and there wasn't s slot open for me.I believe I handled the situation with as much grace as was able to not getting upset or saying anything rude. It is not my problem what the internal staffing problems are at the office, and frankly I don't want to hear what the businesses issues are to as to why they can not accomodate my appointment. I accepted the appointment for the following wednesday and called back today, to find out what the cost of the appointment would be as to I am paying cash. I was told 300 dollars and it was due on the day of the visit. I asked if I could submit a partial payment, and pay the balance due two days later. I was told no.it was due in full. The billing policy is understandable, I am a cash customer, and got screwed out of an appointmet that I have waited 4 months for!!!!!! No one in the office was willing to work with me and had the attitude like this wasn't a big deal!!! I'm sure the client list is large enough that my money doesn't matter a whole hell of a lot, but the screw ups on their end should have been handled with much more grace and a willingness to make things right...... I hope this office rectifies their situation in customer service soon, it is a shame that a family that has worked years to build such a thriving practice would put up with this level of service......

I've never been to a new dentist where cleaning was not included (I'll get to that later). I didn't even know that was an option. Why would you go there as a new patient and walk out without a cleaning? But lesson learned. In the future, I will ask if cleaning is included. My appointment is at 9:00 a.m. I arrive at 8:50 a.m., but the office is closed. Right at 9 a.m., two employees arrive, letting 4-5 other patients who are now waiting into the waiting room. They can't get into the office, so one of the guys jumps over the reception counter. It's now a few minutes after 9 a.m. As the time ticks on, the receptionist arrives at 9:15, fifteen minutes after the first scheduled patients. Then, a few other workers arrive, all well past 9:00 a.m. I finally got called back at 9:30 a.m., and they asked me why I was there; I told them I was a new patient and needed a cleaning. They take x-rays and tell me that the hygienist isn't scheduled that day and they can't do the cleaning. At that point, I just said okay and told them I was leaving. This was one of the most unorganized places I've ever been to. I will not be going back.

Problems with bridges,problems with crowns, the original bridge was to low in the back and separated 2 times, but the dentist argues that it was because the other side had issues, the agonizing pain of removal the first time, the tooth in the very back was sensitive, the bonding would not hold, came loose again. and tooth underneath became abscessed, the 3rd attempt was impossible to remove so now my 3600 dollar plus bridge had to be cut in half, back tooth extracted he put 3 crowns in the upper left also one of witch had glue stuck on the inside between the teeth painful as all hell when he kept trying to free it up it had a gap between and food kept getting in he say the teeth moved forward and would have to replace center with a wider tooth so now I have another 1000 plus to add and also the front and rear teeth of that one also crowns replaced at the same time I was told have cavities and would need to be replaced, so more and more money, I could have had all new teeth and less aggravation for all this money and needless insurance claims, and calling me to get me to leave work set up an appointment then telling me they can't do the work when I get there until I pay an additional 600.00! Buyers beware get a second opinion before making decisions. To add I was told implants were not an option due to bite strength! And the current office manager argued with me about insurance company, I called them about it and she did not want her it! Missing before photos before procedure!

Dr. Hauser made me feel very comfortable and took the time to answer all of my questions. He was very professional and I was able to recover for as long as I needed before leaving his office. He made sure that I knew all the steps I would need to take afterward, and I can honestly say I had almost no pain and a very quick recovery. The only downside is that for my first visit, there was a very long wait - almost 45 minutes past the time of my appointment. But it was well worth the wait.

He also called personally in the evening to check in. I had no complications and everything went smoothly. The reason for 4 stars is the receptionist, who seemed somewhat senile and unpleasant. Hopefully he can get someone soon who would be an asset to the otherwise excellent practice.
