The park seems clean and maintained. There is a large field to play in, areas to play sports, and a…read moresplash pad. I have not been here when the splash pad is open, however. Restrooms do not have soap, paper towels, or hand dryers. I carry little soap strips in my purse so hands get clean, but there is no place to dry them. Toilets are metal so very cold. Be warned! But the restrooms seem clean. There are a couple of unisex/handicap restrooms that I would prefer to use for privacy and they claim to have changing stations, but every time I have been here these have been locked. I'm not sure why. During the week the park is PACKED with kids once the neighboring school lets out. Overall not a bad park for a little picnic and some playtime.

There's a little lake that has geeses, swans, fishes, & turtles. A lot of folks are picnicking. Some shaded areas. There was a street vendor roaming around. There's slight incline if you plan to do some walking but there is some paved paths where I did see folks walking around. There are poop along the path and also on the grass. This is wonderful park to have in the neighborhood. Wished I lived a bit closer and wished we came prepared with a picnic blanket. Tips: -Small parking lot. -Restroom available. -Basketball courts. -Small playground with 2 swings.

Very open to the community and lots of families and all ages are at this park. It's not a very big park in itself, maybe about 2 miles all around, but there are different trails you can walk to from this entrance. It's not a loud park, even with a lot of people there it seems. Very relaxing and enjoyable. There is limited parking in the parking lot, but you can also park on the curb. Just check out the street parking times. There are city parking times where you're not to park there, unless collecting parking tickets is your thing.

Bothe very cute. There is also a set of 6 swings There is a good sidewalk for bikes to circle the playground. There is a covered picnic area as well. It looks sound and offers a little shade when the sun is at the correct angle. Not too much shade in the grass areas as the trees are young.

I called the city and they had no clue and said it should be working but there have been some issues with the plumbing/water pipes so it might not be. The reviews and pictures on this park caught my eye. It was more than I had hoped for especially because I've given up hiking to train my dog and lately I've been missing my hikes. This park gave me a bit of what I have been missing. Peaceful surroundings, trees, a dirt path, space, and minimal distractions. The pup and I got to play and train and we both left feeling super satisfied. I did notice a small blue tent in the park. Not sure if it was occupied. I wasn't too concerned because I had my dog. A discarded syringe cap was also found near a bench. Otherwise, the park was well-manicured, clean, and serene. I look forward to returning!

My dogs and I have been walking at River Walk Park for the past 15 years. They have a wonderful…read moretrail that has really expanded over the past 10 years. You can now walk from Eastvale Community Park at Hamner through River Walk Park and down to Archibald, a total round trip of 5.2 miles. Unfortunately, there has been so many kids out there racing E-bikes during the past year it is getting increasingly difficult to safely take a walk with my dog along this trail. Recently JCSD has put up 20 miles per hour speed limit signs that say yield to pedestrians and some mirrors to help see around sharp turns. 20 mile per hour speed limit might be an okay speed limit on the straight parts of the trail, but 20 miles per hour isn't at all safe around the sharp turns. I have had to jump in the bushes and pull my dog off the trail several times from E-bikes racing around a curve in the trail.
