Went here for July 4th and had a good time. There was free parking at the nearby church and also paid parking at the park, but since there would be a 30 mins. delay to get out of the paid parking to let pedestrians through after the fireworks, I opted for the free parking even though it was a further walk. It was annoying trying to get to the parking lot itself because almost all the ways Google Maps was telling me to get there was blocked off. I understand that they were trying to funnel people into one entrance, but when you have to make several detours trying to get to just one place, it gets really irritating. Anyway, once we were there, food trucks and porta potties were neatly lined up and there were also inflatable playgrounds for the kids to play at that you had to sign a waiver for. Food selection was good. I was happy there were a couple of vegan/vegetarian selections. I highly recommend bringing an umbrella and bottles of water because even though we came late in the afternoon, the sun was still blazing and people were hiding in the shade of the trees. The park is huge, so there's plenty of space to spread out and even if you leave your spot several times like we did, there's always a new spot to find which is just as good as the last one. There was a stage with live bands playing 80s to 90s music with intervals of recorded present day music. I'm fairly sure the woman who sang in the first band sang the national anthem and she was amazing! There was a section in front of the stage roped off as a dance floor and it was fun seeing everyone from a cute elderly couple to parents with kids dancing and enjoying themselves. The fireworks are right behind the stage and because we chose to sit right up front close to the stage, right behind the roped off dance floor, we could just lay down on our towels and watch the fireworks which is easier on the neck. Since we came a little before 5 when they officially opened and entertainment is basically just listening to the live band, eating, drinking, and people watching I admit there were times when I wish we had come a little later because it is a long 4 hour wait, but still it was a nice day to be outside sitting or laying down on the grass on a beautiful Friday afternoon, which like the announcer had said was a gift to us since some countries have neither the luxury or freedom to do so. Overall, it was a good experience. It's very family oriented, safe, casual and relaxed. read more

We have been playing soccer games here for the past 10 years. The parking is atrocious, they have nice-ish fields and a fun playground. The restrooms are never clean or well maintained, ie clogged toilets, no toilet paper, no working sinks. The big field at the front where the older kids play is ridiculous with their big kicks, the ball is always flying towards that parking lot or over the back hill. All in all, it's definitely one of the more average-ish fields we play at, but the actual fields themselves are pretty well maintained. read more

I used to play softball at Santana Park and my brother had football practices here too. Been to this park too many times to count. It's a huge park! Baseball/ softball fields, soccer fields, football can be played here. Santana Park is the home of multiple sports team in Corona. It does get crowded on weekends, but there is plenty of parking all around. Some trees are available, not nearly enough though. The bathrooms are usually pretty gross but that's normal with any public park. On weekends there's typically a snack bar open too, and there are water fountains also. Came here over the weekend for my cousins daughters soccer game. It was a bit hot outside, especially if you weren't under an umbrella. The park is kept up pretty well in terms of the grass being cut and watered etc. This is a nice place to come watch a game and hangout with the family. So many memories at Santana Park :) read more

Always happy to make the drive to Corona from Fallbrook, especially to spend time with family. I thought I was going to see our granddaughter's Hula performance and have a BBQ lunch. "Relay for life" was the reason my granddaughter was performing, which I had no idea. With hundreds of people in attendance, ample parking and supporters/volunteers made this wonderful event enjoyable. Kudos to all involved. read more

Aww, Santana.. a staple to every Corona-kids childhood. I grew up visiting Santana on a pretty consistent basis for soccer and little league baseball games for my siblings. This park is very well maintained, with fresh green grass, walking trails, a plethora of BBQ areas, a skate park, playground, and a multitude of soccer and baseball fields. Santana is also a prime location for all of Corona's happenings, and often hosts 4th of July and other holiday celebrations. I think the biggest perk of this park is it's proximately to a variety of nearby stores. Within walking distance there is a grocery store, Starbucks, Panda Express, Wendy's, and Subway. Making it incredibly easy to grab a bite after your sport activities! read more

3.5 stars Came to this park over the weekend for the Jingle Bells 5K I did with my dog. It was nice, big, and clean. There was also a large parking lot, but because of the run, parking overflowed into the church next door which was actually much closer to the start of the run. I did not use the bathrooms, so I can't comment on that aspect. There are tons of walkways at this park and fields for sports. The park itself is located in what appears to be a fairly new neighborhood with new homes and shopping all within walking distance. What I did not like was how much they watered the grass area. For the morning run, where the vendors set up, it was literally mud because the grass was ridiculously soaked in water!! I don't understand why they would water so much or water so close to the morning that it was not even absorbed into the dirt yet. My shoes were covered in mud, as well as my dogs paws. Both our running costumes became muddy and needed to be washed right away when we got home. I saw many vendors throwing the cardboard boxes on the ground to stand on because you could not even walk through the grass without sinking into the dirt from the excess amount of water! In a time where water should be conserved, that is just asinine and wasteful! Thank goodness most of our running area was on the streets and walkways of the park! I also always carry dog bags with me, but they should have some available through out the park. Not every dog owner is responsible and cleans up after their dog. read more

Pretty huge park but it could be so much better if the play ground area should be bigger & it needs new equipment. The playground area needs more covering for shade & rubber ground cover rather than the wood chips & also that it currently has so it it would be safer for the kiddos to play in. -1 It would be great if they had those shade covers & trees for the whole park/ play area since it gets so hot out here in Corona during the summer. For safety, they should have more lights surrounding the children's playground area & the whole park as well. -1 The city should also clean up the parks of transients & maintain all of the parks more frequently so that residents can enjoy them better. It would be nice if there was a splash pad for this park, they have so much free space here. -1 The city should send their funds into improving & revamping all of the parks in the Corona City area. read more

So I have recently started a new routine of walking/running and Santana Park is perfect for this. The park is easily accessible with parking located along 2 sides of the park. There are tons of sidewalks to stay within the park (feels safer to not have to run the main streets) Each time I go I meet other adults that are doing the same or walking their pets. With that in mind it, the park has always been a clean park I never have an I said with smell and trash it's kept really clean by the city and the patrons that use it. Seeing as we also have a growing problem with the homeless in Corona this is my biggest 2 thumbs up.... I have not encountered any issues with this. I definitely recommend Santana for anyone looking to get out of the house and utilize our city park. Another side note this is where children practice soccer / baseball etc. and it's always pretty full on most weekday evenings and weekend mornings so you don't feel alone. read more

Maybe it's because I've spent a lot of time here when it's not busy, but I'm very happy with this park. People don't seem to mind dogs running around as long as you pick up after them. Large area park that's well groomed and well lit at night. With multiple soccer fields and baseball fields, a children's play area, a skate park and lots of mature trees equals lots of shady spots. read more

Lot of people here for the fireworks. Parking was stupid though. Lots of inflatables for the kids to play on and a lot of food booths. Lines were long everywhere. The salute to the Military before the fireworks was just plain stupid. They played a military march for ten minutes while each branch was supposed to stand and be recognized. Problem was they didn't announce each branch nor did they play that branches theme song. They were flashing each branch on the video screen, but most people couldn't see it and no one stood up. Sad. The fireworks were good, my grandkids enjoyed them. read more

I've spent many years at this park as my son grew up playing Pony baseball. The parking could be better. The baseball families always have to fight for a parking spot in gravel field. There are no marked spaces so space is always wasted (thank you city of Corona for not using the money allocated to you from a developer to pave the field). The ball fields are OK. Often the dirt is rock hard, but that is because those field are open to the public and they get trashed. People ride bikes on the, play soccer on them (even though 75% of the park is soccer fields!), and holes get dug by smelly-armpit people playing cricket. There is a skate park on the east side of the park. The 4th of July firework show at the park is Awesome! read more

Santana is a lovely park in a central location. It is ver convenient for soccer, baseball and the skate park although I wouldn't hang at the skate park after dusk. The park itself is well maintained. There is a great walking path with areas of stairs so you can get some exercise while your kids are at practice. Located near several stores and restaurants too. Also a covered picnic bench area as well as plenty of grassy fields. read more

Living in America ~ James Brown (gotta love Rocky IV for that one) Well, it's not like they play the latter (James Brown) at the clubs, but I was actually talking about how loud the music was! The fireworks started late ~ 9:30pm. If you drive to this event hoping to find a parking spot, you will end up watching the fireworks from your windshield! Luckily, my husband's parents now reside within walking distance from this park. Also, try to exit as fast as you can once the fireworks are over (or the herd will catch up to you). We'll probably be back next year cause we want to be a part of the next record-breaking loud & woohoo crowd!! read more

This is a great park for walking. It's big enough that you don't get bored and there are several walkways you can take, both through and around the park. There are almost always people walking/running. The playground is great. I do wish they would get rid of the wood chips and put the foam, but my kids seem to love them. There are plenty of swings and the equipment is in good condition. The park can get a little crowded because of the sports. read more

Nice, safe, clean and usually dog poop free city park. We love taking our dogs here for a nice walk or short run. They love visiting this park. They get so excited the moment they see us drive up to the parking lot. It is a well kept park and most visitors we bump into are friendly and polite. read more

Rare you can use it. Always covered in soccer kids, or the turf is too torn up, or smelly, or muddy to enjoy. Basically this is owned by the city but operated by AYSO. It's their grass. It's there for their profit. Picnickers and frisbee people be damned. read more

For soccer and walking around the park it's a great location. bathrooms are disgusting usually. The skate park is filled with punks, to put it mildly. My son's birth lived skateboard parks and when we moved back to Corona we thought they'd be as great as ones in LA and OC. Not so much. If you can get past the cigarette and pot stench and the smell of the bathroom doesn't kill you your might be able to skate as long as you avoid all the punks sitting around the edges of the bowl blocking it. It was a beautiful park. Clean the grass green. It had a sensor citizen activities and a kids. My grandkids play there. There daddy would take them there to play and they love it. Nice park but can have a pretty ghetto crowd & the bathrooms are usually filthy. Wish our parks in Corona were more like Eastvale parks.

Its a nice and chill atmosphere. The park is usually clean and kept up well, but you do have to watch out for the teenagers hanging out at the skate park. Nothing agains teens, but you can usually hear alot of cussing and cigarette smoke, which doesn't go well when you have little ones. Exercise caution. read more

Love this park. We love coming here every Eid and since my parents live so close by, we love coming here just for causal walks. It's one of the biggest parks in corona so it's easy to walk/run around and enjoy yourself without getting bored. read more
