Patrick sent a crew out to clean my gutters and it went just fine. Here's where it gets weird: even though I wrote our address in the memo section of the check we used to pay him, he didn't record it properly in his accounting. So, cut to TWO months later, when we get an angry knock at our front door from a guy who barely speaks English. He simply tells my fiance, "You owe my boss money." Now, we live in East LA with a fair amount of gang activity, so we're thinking, this is how it starts. After pulling teeth, we glean that he works for Patrick, and we tell him we've paid in full. While I pull up my bank account statements inside, the man creeps around the side of our house looking in the windows. We show him the receipt for the deposited check and reluctantly, he leaves. The crew did a great job except that they dumped some of the sludge (mixture of dirt and cat poop) that they cleaned out of my gutters onto my artificial turf lawn. I asked them to come back and clean it up and they did, which I appreciated, but the damage had already been done: it was too much work for them to get all of the sludge off my lawn. So I just need to wait for the sludge to settle over time, which is not ideal. The owner was really nice and he even personally came out to check out an electrical issue I was having that was semi-related to the gutter cleaning (not their fault). If they hadn't dumped the sludge, I would have given then 5/5. read more

I am impressed with this company! I contacted Pat late yesterday afternoon for a quote to clean my rain gutters. He must have checked out my house on Google Earth and was able to give me a quote in a matter of minutes. Asked when his crew will be available and he said the next day. Highly recommended! For months, I had been awakened too early in the morning by loud bird chirping. Assuming that the birds had set up nests on the gutters on my 2nd floor, I called Pat. He was able to come to the house the next day to evaluate the situation. He did additional work of inspecting for any damaged roof tiles and found none. Pat cleaned my gutters and did not find any bird nests there, but found them under the eves instead. He returned a couple days later and installed nets. Pat said he had other solutions if the netting did not work. The birds stayed away for a few days but returned. Pat promptly came back and installed spikes. That did the trick! I've been able to sleep in better for the past couple of weeks and am very content about that. Last night a storm hit a day earlier than forecast. Our gutters were full of leaves, since we thought we had another day to clear them. One section of gutter detached from the roof in the middle of the night. My husband cleaned the gutters this morning, and somewhat reattached the loose gutter. Other companies said they'd just fix what we told them was a problem, but Bresnahan's team cleaned everything out, tested for leaks on their own, let the water dry, and came back later in the day after it dried to patch everything up. We called Pat on Wednesday afternoon, and Thursday morning he came by, provided an estimate (which was very reasonable) and was able to clean out our overflowing gutters the same day!
