We have a 2-story 3,500 sq ft home. Brett and team did a whole house exterior painting in September 2019. Brett was on time, reliable, stuck to his bid and provided good advice about paint colors. Brett & his team (Bill and Nick) is just great to work with and we can't rave about them enough! We moved to a new house had the whole place painted interior and exterior by them and its such a complete transformation that our neighbors come in for tours now :) The project included exterior dry rot replacement, a staircase and cabinets, all doors, casings and trim & walls. We had some serious texture and restoration work on some of the walls from some murals the previous owners had and some dry wall fixes from electrical work we did. Which Brett did a complete re-texturing of and he matched the texture to the rest of the walls perfectly! (see before afters) He really knows what he's doing and you don't want anyone who can't match texture work anywhere near your walls, so we highly recommend this team if you have texture work to do. Their attention to detail was really outstanding - I'm a stickler for clean lines, clean up and just thoroughness in general and I didn't find anything that Brett didn't already cover off on or had it in the plan to do, it was amazing. This is another aspect you'd definitely need in your finishing steps like painting, you don't want ghastly wiggly lines or paint drips or a botched clean up. They do such a great job of masking and then going over everything with a fine tooth comb to clean up afterwards that you come home to wonder how they even managed to do it without a drop out of place! And even if you add on or rework your project (which we had to do a ton of times since we had some dry wall work added from other repairs after the original estimate), Brett will work with you always and will work around other contractors and even think through certain steps to make everything go smoothly. Brett is very professional, prompt on email and will always return your call, another aspect we appreciated. From estimate to completion it was a very smooth job, with prompt arrival from his team daily, discussion of plan ahead of time and a daily end of day update. We couldn't be happier with their professionalism and work ethic. He gave us a very detailed quote which included not only painting, but also repair on wood that we didn't realize had dry rot, repair shutters, replace screening under the eaves, power washing the house and upper and lower decks. I contacted several painters for quotes to paint my interior new colors including ceiling, walls, baseboards and a few doors. Brett's price was reasonable and fair. I tweeked the specs after discussing the project with Brett and we settled on the specifics of the job. Brett showed up on time. He was careful to protect the place, including my very white carpet. His attention to detail was excellent. The toughest challenge was getting the transitions right for colored walls meeting the white ceiling. Brett has a steady hand and we are very pleased with how these transitions came out. He had no issues painting raised ceilings. Brett painted my door to the garage, one that is solid and smooth. Normally, a brushed door shows brush marks. Brett managed to paint the door with no brush marks, very smooth. It looks like it was sprayed but was not. The baseboards look great as well, very smooth, no brush marks. Overall, I'd use Brett again. He does the work himself with one other helper. He pays attention to details and I trusted him to paint when I was not home. No regrets. I highly recommend his work. read more
