I had Legacy Painting come out and paint my entire house. Dave, the owner, came out and provided a very fair estimate. It was a pretty big job in that the house hasn't been painted for over 15 years, and it showed as most of the trim boards around the windows were in bad shape and had to be replaced. I found Dave to be friendly, reliable, and honest; he'll tell me which trim boards need to be replaced (and why) and also which boards can be patched up; and so I don't have to spend money unnecessarily. Dave is easy to work with; he shows up when he says he will and listens to any concerns I have. I was impressed with how fast he and his crew was able to replace all the rotten wood and trim around the windows in just a couple of days. The painting started while the trim was being worked on. In a few days, the woodwork and painting was all done! The house looked great! I even had Dave come back to do some follow-up caulking around my window frames and he was able to do that the very next day. Talk about responsiveness! I highly recommend Legacy Painting. David came out to my house in Livermore for an estimate. He walked the property and asked what I was interested in doing to the house exterior. I told him all my requests and he gave me some suggestions and we set up a plan. David is a very smart and friendly guy who knows his craft. I asked about needed dry rot wood repairs and he said they can do those as well. David had a lot of great suggestions that saved me some money and improved the look of the house as well. Legacy painted my 2-story stucco home in Livermore several months ago. After getting an estimate, I decided not to do any detailed cost comparisons with other companies. When I looked at their website, I was particularly pleased to see that I could chose the quality of paint (I chose the middle grade). I also discussed with David the fascia boards that looked like they might have rot damage. When the painting began, I was very ill and unable to watch the work being done. David painted the exterior around Christmas, the color is uniform, and thorough job with no spots left. David explained the steps and asked us to move all furniture aware from windows for pressure washing.
