This review is long overdue (sorry Max!), but Ibanez Painting was amazing. Can't recommend these guys enough. I started by contacting them via Yelp's message service. Max was quick to reply and we setup a time to meet at my house for a project walkthrough and explanation of their offerings and process. We started with a sit down to discuss paint types, grades, and their pros/cons, as well as the free color consultation they provide and sample painting to confirm your color selection. Next, we reviewed what parts of the house I wanted painted (exterior walls, gutters, garage door, front door, side door, etc). For each location, Max gave a thorough explanation of how they handle all aspects of the project including prep, masking, priming, and finally painting. I had requested a couple quotes for various paint options and Max was happy to oblige -- in a few days time I had both quotes. We signed a work contract and scheduled a start date. They started the project on the day at the time they said they would show and worked hard through project completion. Their attention to detail was spectacular and their willingness to go above and beyond blew me away -- they offered to remove and replace fixtures as-needed. I also appreciate how clean they were each day and at the end of the project -- a rather significant issue that many contractors ignore. AND all the workers were approachable, friendly, and communicative. At no point did I ever have questions or doubts floating about the work being done. The house turned out beautiful. So nice even, he sent a photographer to come out and take photos (attached) and was kind enough to share them with me upon completion. We decided to have our exterior painted. I went and got four estimates. Max from Ibanez Painting came out and it was a no contest. His explanation of the service was excellent. He had pictures of other projects and explained exactly how the work will be done. From the time of the estimate till they started work was delayed by a few months due to me having new doors installed and wanting to wait till after that to paint. Max stayed in communication the whole time and was very patient with me. Once they started work, they were beyond professional. The crew was very respectful of our property and all the neighbors as well. The prep work they do is second to none. Way more involved than the other companies that had looked at our house. We were very happy with the work and work ethic from Ibanez Painting. After completing the job I noticed some bubbling in the paint that was applied to our concrete porch. This had nothing to do with their work and more to do with our concrete, however Max came, took a look and is scheduled to fix it at no additional cost. They take a lot of pride in their work and we will definitely be calling them when it's time to paint the inside. read more

The crew showed up when they said they would be here every day, and were extremely conscientious about covering furniture and belongings during work and cleaning up before they left. They were also amazingly understanding of the fact that I still had to, you know, live in my house with 3 small children and a not-small dog while they were here, and were more than happy to work with me on things like having the kids' room finished and accessible as quickly as possible and having the kitchen accessible for almost the entire project so I could feed the kiddos. (What is it with kids needing food every 2 hours?) They wound up finishing a day earlier than estimated, and the house looks amazing. They installed new baseboards and changed out door hardware as well - we could not be more thrilled with how things look. I asked Max to come in for a quote to paint our accent wall and the inner column of the ceiling and he can first for a quote, second to test different shades of gray, and lastly to complete the job. Absolute 5 Stars. We were looking to accomplish two things: 1) Re-paint the exterior of our home. We live in Dublin and our [new construction] home is about 8 years old. The Builder used the cheapest paint; thus, the colors were fading. We also wanted to give the exterior a face lift with new colors. 2) Paint the interior of our garage (yes, it wasn't painted by the Builder) plus install epoxy flooring. Max came to our house on-time, talked us through the process like a pro, shared sample photos & videos of their work, and demonstrated how his company takes a ton of pride in their work. Days later, he emailed us the quote, which came in super fair and reasonable compared to other quotes we received. He was able to squeeze us in and start the job about 2-weeks later. Note: I think we hit a nice sweet spot since the Summer Peak season hadn't kicked off yet. The job took 2 phases: 1) exterior paint, and 2) garage: For phase 1, I was out of town the whole week for work. I saw them Monday, helped them get settled, and came back on Friday afternoon from my trip to a brand new house exterior. My wife was home for the week and shared her interactions were super minimal to help them get in/out of the yard, etc. She shared how professional and attentive Max and his crew were to the details. As for colors, I only needed to email him the approved new colors from my HOA. He took care of the rest. Phase 2 was a breeze and took 2-days to complete. Max and his crew cleaned our garage and put everything back after they were done. He also did some touch up work from phase 1. We loved working with Max and his team. Best contractor I've ever worked with. Max called to schedule the estimate immediately. Showed up on time every day. Left the job site clean every day and the crew was polite and friendly. They knocked the entire exterior paint job on our 1600 sq ft house in 2 1/2 days and it looks fantastic. All the holes were patched and they put new screens on the house vents that were falling apart. Also, love the caulking they did between all the boards under the eave. Nice touch! The Good: Great team and expert work. The owner was on site the entire time and worked side by side with the crew. Cheerful group. They were careful to cover all of our plants, walks, etc. so there was no paint where it should not have been. Good details on corners, etc. We were super happy with the quality. Everything was explained in advance. Excellent site clean up when done. No surprises after they left. Took their time and did a walk through with us at the end of each day to make sure all our concerns were addressed. They returned to do additional layers in some spots where we had concerns without complaining. Not so Good: Not much to complain about which is uncommon. They are not the best at communicating prior to starting. Changed the start date once with little prior notice. Made a decision to use a more expensive primer without discussing. I was very happy with the outcome but would have preferred to discuss before they spent the money and applied. But, I was happy with the outcome and quality for the spend. Wow, I can't say enough good things about this company! They responded to all of my communications quickly. Max gave me a presentation explaining what they would do, with references and photos of past projects. We walked around the house and discussed different options that I had. They are a little higher priced then the cheap painters out there, but soooo, worth what we paid. They used high end quality paint, they sealed all that needed sealing and replaced any wood that needed to be replaced.
