I recently removed an old/large fluorescent light fixture from my kitchen, but before a new fixture could be installed, there was a fair amount of damage to the ceiling that to be fixed, including matching the knock down texturing. Mario did such a great job of patching the holes and matching the texture, that I honestly can not see any trace of the where the old fixture used to be. Truly awesome! We needed our doorway made smaller to fit the barn door that matched our other doors. Mario did a quality job and he is a true perfectionist. His texturing matched perfectly and the wall came out straighter than the original build. During his work he set up a sealed off area to ensure not a drop of overspray landed anywhere it wasn't supposed to. In the end he left my home cleaner than he first found it. The quality of his work is something that is hard to find these days. I 100% recommend hiring Mario. Mario and his crew did a great job on our house where we had several cracks in our drywall from settling. They painted all the affected areas as well. They touched a large portion of our house, but were able to section off rooms where we could still live in the house while they were working through all the areas. They were very careful to protect the floors and furniture from dust and paint. They cleaned up after themselves great and worked very hard and long days. The only word I want to say is that Mario treated my house as his own house. He and Tomas did extremely well. I have a small drywall repair. They spent two hours covering the floor and stairs and windows. They put on four coats to repair the gaps. Also, they did an excellent color match. This is the second job Mario has done for me, just finishing up 2 complete bathroom remodels. Had Mario (and his guys) do drywall/tape and texture/paint. Also had him install 2 new doors for the bathrooms. Everything is top notch/perfect. Due to the 60+ yr old framing and floor movement the door installs gave him some trouble and he spent allot more time than a simple install should have taken. Still they came out perfect. I told him to add some time to his quote for that, but he didn't, said no, that's OK. I'm pretty picky and just can't find anything to pick on, beautiful work. read more

Mario and his crew did a very good job on our big project. We had them replace all interior doors and casings, add crown molding to some rooms, smooth and re-texture all walls and ceilings in the house, and they repainted everything. The project took a little more time than expected but there was some delays out of their hands. Mario is one of nicest, calmest, and most honest contractors I've ever worked with. His crew was also very nice and respectful of the space. They have the proper large equipment for doing whole house texturing, along with the smaller hopper guns for doing rooms and smaller areas. The texture came out great and is very uniform. The paint also looks very good. Mario also provided an excellent suggestion to widen our ceiling beam to better accommodate our ceiling fan. He also modified the opening of our closets and added new closet doors I provided. He would work late and tirelessly some days to just get things done, and this showed his dedication and attention to detail. Pricing was very good compared to my other estimates. I was very nervous having a drywall expert come into our home to repair two major cracks in our living and family room 10 ft. ceilings. I knew that a decent drywall guy would be able to repair the cracks, but my concern was with the texturizing. After meeting with Mario and seeing the positive reviews, I knew the job would be done well. Each room was repaired to perfection and Mario did not rush to complete his tasks. Like many of you reading this review right now, I started looking for a painter on yelp last year around this time. There are a lot of painters with good reviews in our area, but I guess summer time is just busy for everyone, so I didn't get a lot of call backs or their timeline didn't work our schedule. What I should've done in the first place was ask our realtor for recommendation! Our realtor referred Mario to us because he's done painting/dry wall jobs for her rental properties, and we are so glad she did! Mario came out to our house to give us an estimate the next day, and was very good communicating with us throughout the whole process. He's professional, courteous, and just a great person overall. We had just closed on the house and wanted to have the painting done before our new carpet gets installed. Although he had a couple other jobs all over the bay area, Mario squeezed us into his already busy schedule. We are so appreciative of his willingness to work with our schedule, because we had scheduled carpet installation and move in date already. His prices were very very reasonable, in fact a lot better compared to some of the other painters I called. He used premium eco friendly paint which was very important to me b/c I was pregnant at the time. His crew is very professional and always left the work area clean. At the end, the paint job looks amazing, all the lines are clean, our house literally looked like a model home. And we are so thankful for early mornings, late nights and weekend they had to work to finish the job on time. We couldn't be happier with the job they did. I called MC Drywall services to have a drywall, at my home, fixed as it was cut for some work. Mario came by to give an estimate for it with sheet rock and repainting it. The estimate was reasonable. He came back another day as promised to work on it. I didn't go inside till all the work was complete. After it's all done, Mario asked me to take a look - I was stunned !. I could not locate where the wall was cut before and the texture and paint on the wall was so nice that it appeared as if the wall was never cut before. Amazing work by Mario.
