The crowd seemed to be 1/3 to go drinks like me, and 2/3 folks who wanted to dine in, with breakfasts and coffee flights. All of the staff were friendly and professional and busy. It seemed like a good sized food and drink menu for such a small place. I love Mexican food, so I'd definitely love to stop in for actual food at some point. Great place to grab some coffee and a bite to eat. The back patio looks nice on a sunny day. I came here on a Friday morning to do some work on my laptop and got the huevos rancheros, which were very tasty. The macchiato I ordered was on the sweet side. I really wanted to like this place after the reviews. Maybe it was an off day or a new cook but basically, the food was terrible. It appears that everything is either cooked or warmed, on a flat grill. The biscuits were burnt on one side, the scrambled eggs were so chopped up and dry that I thought they plate crumbs from prior customers. I came in today around 8:25 AM and placed an order for my friend, who comes here all the time. When I placed the order, I clearly told the lady that the order needed to be exactly how I described it and to please fix it exactly as I asked. My friend's order was: Rice & Bean Bowl - No lettuce - Add cheese, spinach, and onions - About 4 sides of ranch Large coffee with a shot of caramel I repeated everything more than once to avoid confusion. Instead of simply entering the order, the employee questioned almost every item. She insisted the bowl came with cheese--until I showed her the menu where it clearly does not. Then she questioned the toppings I asked to be added. At this point, I even had to call my friend while standing there because she kept challenging what I was asking for. Before I paid, I said again, "Please make sure the order is correct." I also clarified, "I don't want a latte. I want a coffee with a shot of caramel." The total came out to $30.82 for two items, which is already high, but I was willing to pay it as long as the order was right. When I dropped the order off, my friend took one sip of the drink and immediately said, "What is this?" It was clearly not a regular coffee. So I drove right back. When I told the employee she gave me the wrong drink, she insisted she made it correctly. My friend told me the regular coffee comes from the machine near the door with caramel added--yet the employee pointed to the latte machine and acted like that was the same thing. It wasn't. Not only did she get the drink wrong after all the clarification, but they didn't offer a refund, remake, apology, nothing. Just a I'm sorry after messing up the order I tried so hard to make clear. Please check your order before leaving this place. I couldn't taste the drink because it wasn't mine. Cool little place tucked out of the way. Clean and simple interior with menus on the screens on the wall. Orders are placed at the front and they bring your food out when ready. We tried the huevos rancheros and the loco burrito. Both were really tasty and filled with fresh veges. Fried were seasoned nicely and the spicy salsa was nice too! Loved this cafe! It's unassuming outside and there's not much surrounding it, but it was really good. The tacos, fajita bowl, and coffee flight we had were so good. Food took a little while to come out but was very good. I'm still thinking about the tacos. There's a good amount of tables inside but the place is on the smaller side. Lots of tables outside in the back but we were bothered by mosquitos while sitting there so moved in. Cute fall and Halloween decor. Lots of food options. They serve breakfast and lunch all day. First time here and we will be back. My wife loved her breakfast tacos and coffee. My breakfast sandwich was just kind of there nothing fancy at all. My wife liked her fresh made pasty as well. The set up inside is very congested if there are more than one or two people ordering. A better floor plan would make the business easier to get around IMO. The chilaquiles here are hands down the best in town. They're packed with flavor, and somehow the chips stay perfectly crunchy under all the toppings - no soggy mess. The restaurant was clean and the server/cashier was so sweet and attentive. The cafe was pretty busy, but you could tell the staff were working hard to get orders completed in an efficient manner. They also have a cute patio area which offered a cozy setting. I had the Iced Azteca Mocha and the breakfast burrito. The Azteca was sweet but not too sweet and a great size for the price! I visited this restaurant the day after it opened maybe a year or so ago. They had 3 tables and a menu that didn't make since. Went back today, what a difference! They expanded into what used to be a resale shop next door. Now about a dozen tables. Digital menu board on big screen TVs. One for breakfast the other for lunch. We stopped by here before taking my dog to the park. Honestly thought we'd get a coffee to go but once inside I wanted to try the coffee flight. They were absolutely lovely and different from what we are used to AND it wasn't full of sugar like almost every other place we've tried. The bread for my quesadilla was obviously made fresh and was so good and so was the rice. We don't eat out much anymore because everything we make at home seems better that restaurants but now we have a new favourite place that we will start visiting often. There's an outdoor patio so you can bring your pet but inside is so lovely too. I love the picture of Frida Kahlo and our server was also lovely!! read more

The menu is more selective, so they can concentrate on quality. We tried the huevos rancheros for the first time this morning and it completely altered my view of the dish.
