Hey I went here for the first time for trivia and it was great !! The grilled cheese was toasted despite the look, the ube latte was great and the aged brown butter was so good I wanted two. The barista was super nice and the food came out in a decent time. Lora of indoor and outdoor seating making it great for a date or just getting coffee with a friend.

The Living Room is a perfect place to grab a coffee with a friend or meet up with someone. It's a quiet and relaxed atmosphere where it's very easy to talk. The menu is pretty focused with light fare and interesting drinks. By interesting I mean espresso and orange juice!? Espresso and root beer!? Don't knock it till you try it! Usually I go with a plain americano. Love the outdoor seating, we can bring the pups! They even have an outdoor ordering window. The only down side is the close at 3pm.

Although I haven't tried EVERY coffee place in the St. Louis area, this has to be my favorite so far, and one I want to keep coming back to time and again. If not for the coffee, but for that great cheesy scone! This time I had a Salted Honey Latté as well as a Brown Butter Chocolate Chip cookie. The cookie was a little tough - and there's nothing wrong with that - I just like my cookies a little softer. The team here is always very friendly and they are well organized and keep everything running smoothly and efficiently. They were pretty busy for a Friday morning, so be sure to get there early to get a good seat. I love that they offer outside seating as well for when the weather gets warmer. Don't miss out on this place - you won't regret it!

I love a good coffee shop and the living room is that and beyond! My egg sandwich was so delicious and my order was made swiftly once ordered! I definitely recommend this spot if you are in the area or just needing a good spot for Breakfast/ Brunch/ Lunch! They are not always the fastest I have heard, but it was quick enough for me and they pickup counter staff greeted me with a smile!

This is an incredibly inclusive and welcoming establishment that you notice immediately. Even when they're busy, they help you find a place to sit whether inside or outside on the patio. The staff is the shining star here. Every employee treated me like a welcome guest. We visited on a very busy Saturday morning, but the line moved quickly at the counter to order. I ordered a cold brew coffee that was average. I ordered the workday sandwich with the veggie sausage and it was really good. They added some sweet grapes on the side. I'm looking forward to a return visit to try some of the other delicious choices.

Went to living room coffee and kitchen with a friend for a lunch and was greeted with a bustling shop! It was such a nice day so people were sitting outside on the pretty patio. The menu was pretty diverse so had a good selection of items to pick from and the coffee/tea menu was pretty extensive. I don't drink coffee but my partner said the coffee she ordered was very good! I also saw that you can take a barista class with them if you are interested which would be fun for those interested!

I really had high hopes for this place but was slightly disappointed. This place is a cute quaint spot. Easy parking right out front. You order at the counter and find a seat. I tried to order the Montana sandwich, but they were out of French toast on a Sunday morning. I went with the breakfast burrito. No complaints with the burrito, although it took over 30 min for it to get delivered to the table. For coffee I went with one of their specialty drinks, the brown sugar lavender. It had a weird after taste to it. The latte art was beautiful though. Would come back to try something else on the menu.

This place was busy on a Sunday morning ! I got there and decided to order online and it was a really easy process ! I got the Brown Sugar Lavender Latte and it was delicious ! I would have never thought about having those flavors together but they worked perfectly . They had knife and outside seating , plus I saw flyers for their community activities which I thought was super cute and needed in times like this ! If I lived in STL I would def be a regular

Honestly wish there was another one of these out in west county! Love coming here to relax and enjoy some great food! The coffee also tastes amazing! Outside seating comes handy when they are too busy inside.

Cute place tucked off Manchester. We sat outside. The patio is making the best use out of a large parking lot. Place your order at the counter, grab a number, then a table and they bring it to you. The line at times looks long but it moves quickly. We ordered the Wingspan Breakfast and the Montana Sandwich. Both were great! The Scone on the Wingspan was savory and well seasoned, it wasn't just taking up space. Ditto on the vegan sausage!

Great establishment in Maplewood with plenty of free parking available on the street as well as a large adjacent parking lot. Place order at the counter and staff will bring it to your table, inside or outside. We were able to enjoy dining on the patio, and the server checked in with us a couple of times. Good choice of beverages, pastries, and cookies, as well as breakfast, lunch and brunch items. Menu includes some vegetarian and vegan options. Lots of people utilizing the free WiFi. Friendly employees project a positive vibe. Everyone in our group of eight enjoyed their beverages and food. Clean facility with a well maintained gender neutral restroom. A changing table would be a welcome addition. Good experience, I'll be sure to return.

Best lavender cold brew I've ever had. Really kind service even if a bit sheepish, but the best environment for a warm day! Their outside seating is perfect. Love the help-yourself sticker store too!!

This is a quaint looking coffee and cafe place located in Maplewood. They have a section of games, coloring books, and puzzles which could entertain young children, or adults young at heart. I had an iced Carmel latte which was tasty. I did have to stir the drinks the syrup was lying at the bottom of my cup. I ordered the smoked chicken salad wrap. I don't eat a lot of processed bread/wraps, so I opened it up to eat. There was no bacon despite the menu saying there was bacon. They use a spicy sauce (not listed)... if you have sensitivity to foods like I do, I like to know what all is included. There was a lo of greens in the wrap which honestly could have been made to taste better with a little balsamic vinegar, et added to the chicken wrap. My friend ordered the breakfast burrito and stated it was bland. Once you place your order, find a seat and eventually get your food... no one asks how it is, so service 1/5.

Eventually, I'd run out of money and be forced to live out of doors, perhaps in a tent in the park across the street. It would almost be worth it. Kentzo Koffee is not without its flaws, but it's a good place to have a coffee ("koffee") and a light breakfast. It's not clear to me how long it's been around, but it's possible they have a few issues that just need ironing out. A guy from my running group who lives nearby was running down the litany of businesses that have been in this space. Is this location cursed? Was a Native American killed there? This is no fault of Kentzo, but there was some confusion as to whether the breakfast bowl comes with eggs. I could have sworn that it doesn't and that the menu made this clear, but a few members of my group, who are girls with whom I'm not inclined to outwardly disagree, insisted that it does. It seems like it should anyway, right? What's a breakfast bowl without eggs? You could just as easily have such a bowl for lunch. That's unacceptable. This place had umpteen baristas, including one dressed like she was working for tips in a place frequented by bikers (she looked amazing), but they were barely keeping up with orders. This was fine with me. I didn't have anywhere to be, and my drink--an iced vanilla latte, natch--was good when it finally came out. But this is not the kind of place to stop and grab a quick drink on your way to work. There was only one guy making food, as far as I can tell, and he was on it. He made my Breakfast Bowl w/ Bacon and brought it out before I got my drink. He warned me that the bowl was hot, but he was holding it with his bare hand. He must think that I'm actually *from* Maplewood. I had to have the girl who handed me my drink fetch my cinnamon roll. Were they supposed to hand it to me when I ordered? Were they hoping I'd just forget? The cinnamon roll was cold, like maybe it sat in a refrigerator overnight. It occurred to me that it almost certainly wasn't made that day, but it didn't seem particularly stale or prepackaged. It cost more than I paid for most meals in the pre-Brandon era, and it occurred to me that they could just give you a bit less, not charge as much, and I'd be fine with that. Did I devour the whole thing in a few bites anyway, like I just got out of jail? Yes. Yes, I did.

It's located on a busy street in Clayton, so people watching is available. Being used to ordering at Starbucks, I was uncertain how to approach this, so I told the employee I was trying to adjust and he was so kind and helpful. I went with a Hot Macchiato with Caramel and Mocha, 2% Milk and a small Chicken Empanada. They were a bit backed up, so the wait was a little longer than I expected, but the drink was very good. I didn't even have to specify how many pumps of what to put in there, they just did it and it was perfect. The right temperature, I didn't have to wait to drink it. But why would you want to eat food from a coffee shop? I've been visiting coffee shops on the reg for the past several weeks, and I've repeatedly made the mistake of ordering breakfast sandwiches, burritos and what have you. I have no one to blame for this but myself. I knew going in that it wasn't a good idea. I just couldn't help myself. This must be how people end up on drugs. There was a race going on nearby, when I visited 23 West yesterday. I wasn't involved, though I was there in a running capacity. My running group just happened to be meeting there. We ran a few miles in the neighborhood before our visit. By the time we got there, there was quite a crowd. The contrast between the sweaty, disheveled runners and the sleek, modern decor was striking. This place has an interior like some showroom where you're pressured into taking out a high-interest loan to purchase jewelry of questionable provenance. Are they in cahoots with the bank next door? Both buildings, I notice, have a similar facade. 23 West is painted the same shade of gray as a post-McPlayPlace-era McDonald's, when they started trying to look like a Chipotle. Some girls on apps prefer it if you didn't take them to get coffee. It's not expensive enough. If you can get one to agree to such a date, you might consider bringing them here. It's classy. The coffee is good too. I went with the Raspberry Cheesecake Cold Brew, a seasonal item. It was magnificent. I ordered mine to-go, so I could enjoy it at the tables out front, and in case 12 showed up. They give it to you in a tall plastic cup with no lid, filled to the point where it's nearly impossible to carry without spilling, presumably so you can sample the delicious cheesecake-like froth and probably get a little bit of it in your mustache. You can't really sip it with a straw. The coffee itself is surprisingly robust, given the depth of the raspberry flavor. It's an odd idea for a drink, and not something I'd usually order, but the execution was on point. I also went with a Cherry Almond Scone. I had to eat something, for emotional reasons, and it looked interesting. I'm no expert on scones, but I enjoyed it. It may have been the most dense baked good I've ever eaten, to the point where it could probably be used as a weapon, in a pinch. I know it's supposed to be similar to a biscuit and that in England, where they're consumed on the reg, a biscuit is known as a cookie (why?). It's a lot dryer than even the biscuits at a Lee's Famous Recipe, but intentionally so, I guess because it's designed to be eaten with a beverage. A hot beverage is probably ideal, but I made it work with a cold brew. It's the kind of thing you don't realize until after the fact. Next time I'll know. If and when I do return, I'll be dressed as a magician, possibly with a young lady in tow.
