The perfect coffee bar to relax and study! I love the atmosphere here and the late hours. They have a very wide range of drink options on the menu as well as some bakery items. The non-dairy milk alternatives are a bit pricey, but the drinks are always really good and the staff is knowledgeable. My ideal place to enjoy a personalized cup of coffee with friends during the school semester. The environment is nice for doing homework but also catching up with old friends. Amazing coffee shop! The best in Toledo. Beats Starbucks, Biggby, and Tim Hortons any day. Love the industrial look inside the shop, with the paint schemes it makes it feel very warm and welcoming. I get the same thing every time, a vanilla cappuccino, because why change a good thing. Staff is super friendly and makes you feel welcome. I was excited to see a coffee shop opening off campus. However upon closer inspection I discovered that the bar tenders at BREW are under educated, the espresso machine is a single boiler unit, not a dual boiler which is the industry standard these days. The coffee that they are serving (Zingermans), in my opinion, is below average compared to all of the other third wave roaster around the country, and subpar to Actual Coffee, which is roasted locally. My espresso beverages were disappointing the 3 separate occasions that I ordered them, however I was surprised by the decent drip coffee. For the average college student that is just looking for a place to hang out and work, this is it. However, if you are seeking a superior product, I would look elsewhere. I give it two stars, I have experienced better in the area. read more

They have a lot of options for pour overs but their specialty flavored coffee is not that great and have been hit or miss. Either too watery or too much syrup. They have a dirty chai tea that is also really good. The atmosphere is also really fun. I love that there is a new coffee shop by UT instead of just the Starbucks in the student union. They have a great variety, including many things I have never tried. They have lattes, brew coffee, teas, chemex, pour over, French press, and more. I got an iced Americano the other day and it was wonderful. I typically add cream to my Americanos, but it was unnecessary for this one. The flavor was amazing-not bitter like many I have tried other places. The atmosphere is great-very cozy. They have a great selection of pastries and desserts. They serve Bri's Bakehouse cupcakes and Holy Toledough doughnuts, which are both very delicious. I am not typically a doughnut fan, but these are an exception. I recommend trying this place! It's the only local coffee shop in the area read more
