Okay, I was here not too long ago and not the best experience. Maybe it was a one off, because there was more staff and much quicker service this time. Good job Team! Very tasty drinks and the place was clean and tidy.

I remember this place years ago and always remembered the flavors of all the different lattes. I be ordered the ham and cheese pretzel, a potato chip cookie, bacon cheddar and chive scone and a Lightning Big Latte. Everything was absolutely delicious and I quickly remembered why I loved this place. While I sat and enjoyed my brunch and latte I noticed quite a few people coming in and out with their own mugs. This place was thriving off of all the locals who live or work near by! What a cool place to work and come to that supports everyone near or far. I'll be making this a regular stop to work from this location. Such a great spot and the staff is extremely friendly!!!

Everything you'd expect from a little coffee joint! The place is cute and quaint! Toledo was pretty quiet overall, but lively in here! The line went all the way to the door! Lots of seating, free self serve water, and street parking!

I saw this coffee shop online and I wanted to stop in and try it! This was a cool, laid back spot to grab some coffee . The vibe was really laid back and welcoming. I ask the host what she recommended and she recommended the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Latte. Which was phenomenal. It reminded me of the time as a child when I would wake up on a Saturday morning and have a bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal! If you are ever in the area stop in and enjoy some coffee. I highly recommend this establishment!! Thank you!

The service here is always fast and friendly, and the coffee is delicious! I always enjoy supporting local businesses. The Iced Cinnamon Toast Crunch Latte is fabulous! They also have plant milks so I can enjoy their fabulous drinks while maintaining my vegan lifestyle.

I absolutely love coffee. While in downtown Toledo I walked to a local coffee spot. The coffee was good and they had a vegan scone. The service was ok, a recommendation was made ad it was alright. It was average noise inside and not too crowded for a Sunday morning. It was nice.

Stopped here for a quick coffee while visiting a friend in town! It was super cute, and the coffee was tasty. They have their specialty seasonal menu on the chalk board (in the picture) and then also have your classic coffee drinks and flavors (mocha, caramel, vanilla)! Other than us and a couple other customers the shop was mostly empty. Service was average, they seemed pretty efficient although drinks came out out of order, and they were not especially friendly but got the job done. The seating area was a nice cozy size, but many of the tables had not been cleaned off so it wasn't especially welcoming or clean. This could've just been the day we stopped in. but other than us and a couple other customers the shop was mostly empty. I'd you're going for a coffee and not necessarily to sit down, but a quick pick up this place is for you!

Can we give an applause to this cute little coffee shop that happened to be open on a Sunday afternoon? I wanted something local before leaving town and this place was so conveniently located! This coffee shop was cute and felt like a friend's house when I entered. I wanted a quick breakfast and some coffee. I was greeted at the counter and they had such a large selection of drinks and specials! The space had plenty of seating and space to social distance. I got a caramel flavored cappuccino (not too sweet) and a biscuit ham, egg cheddar cheese sandwich. To which I must say, that biscuit was perfect! Such a great and savory sandwich! I was good to go! 5 stars!

What a great little coffee shop in the heart of downtown Toledo. Supporting local is near and dear to my heart, and Maddie & Bella make supporting local a no-brainer. During my visit with my daughter, we were greeted by friendly and cheerful staff. The coffee shop was bright, clean, and simply a breath of fresh air. I ordered the mocha latte with the knowledge that their chocolate was supposed to be on another level. Well my daughter was right, the mocha latte hit the spot. With a smooth rich flavor without having that over sweetened taste. It was an absolute delight, and a great way to start my morning. And the story behind the name, such a touching tribute to the families Australian Shepherds. Parking was simple on a Friday morning. We parked right in front using metered parking. These meters allowed the use of credit cards, I noticed some down the street did not.

Delicious cappuccinos with oat milk, amazing egg and cheese sandwiches on gluten free toast. We were stopping through on a road trip from NYC to Minnesota and we loved Maddie & Bella's. The service was really friendly and the ambiance of the place is lovely. Lots of seating if you want to hang out. Super cute dog motif. Highly recommend!

I was going west on I-90 on a Sunday, and thought it was a good opportunity to take a quick look at Toledo knowing that there is a revitalization going on. I found this coffee shop on yelp and set my gps. The neighborhood, the facade of the buildings on the street, the interior - all work together to create a cool vibe. I ordered an Americano - apparently only comes in one size and it's a bit small. But it was among the best tasting I have had. It was very sweet and caramelly tasting, and very smooth. I also got a scone which disappointingly was on the bland side. A great place - I'm glad I stopped in.

I have become increasingly tired of Starbucks, but less so of other chain coffeehouses. That said, I always seek out the independent coffeehouses. Mostly, I was sold on the name (Rustbelt) of this coffeehouse in Downtown Toledo, just a few blocks from the small cluster of downtown mid-rises. Inside, it has the open floor plan with exposed ceilings up above, which works very well here and fits the industrial Rust Belt mood. The seating options were to my liking: big butcher block type tables meant to be shared, smaller tables, and upholstered seating with coffee tables. I wish I could have stayed at Rustbelt longer. It was a warm and humid summer day and I had an iced tea and a pastry. The items were tasty. The pricing was fair and the service was unremarkable, but did lean toward being good natured. Parking is available right in front along the street, should you want to keep an eye on your car. That said, I couldn't get a read on the location ... it seemed that there were other eateries and bars nearby, so maybe that meant it was okay. Also, I couldn't figure out where the customer base came from. Usually, bohemian coffeehouses have bohemian enclaves nearby where the bohemian people live. I didn't see any, or maybe I didn't look long enough. I couldn't imagine them being suburbanites. Lastly, I believe I've always seen Rust Belt spelled as two words. If they want to stylize this and go with one word, that's their prerogative. So, what you have here at Rustbelt Coffee are good tea/coffee with pastries to choose from, fair prices, decent service, and a spacious open interior plan where the climate control system was working very well. That sounds like 4 stars to me.

Today, I tried something else that I unfortunately didn't love, so I'm rating it 4 stars. Today, I didn't place my to-go order ahead of time and instead walked in and sat at the counter and sipped on a diet pepsi while I waited. I would describe the decor as cozy, rustic farmhouse chic, with lots of pictures of pigs. I had time to take pics while I waited for my order. I stopped in a bit later than the usual lunch rush, so there was literally no one dining in. A couple of people came in to pick up their carryout orders. The server was very friendly and down to earth. I ordered the pepper smoked turkey sandwich based on some reviews that raved about it. Rather than chips or fries, I opted to upgrade to a slaw for $2 more. I couldn't wait to get back to the office and try the food. Before digging in, I took photos because everything looked delicious. The meal was top notch quality. The turkey was thickly sliced with artisan lettuce and a garlic aioli sauce, plus cheddar cheese. The bread was a tasty sour dough. I ordered it without onions because I didn't want onion breath. Despite the high quality ingredients, it somehow wasn't amazing. It was very good but I didn't taste the pepper flavor on the turkey. The slaw was a nice mixture of kale, cabbage and carrots. For my taste, the cream sauce was on the sweet side, whereas my preference is less sweet and more tangy. Nevertheless, the ingredients were very fresh. As I reached the bottom of the bowl, however, there was a lot of runny cream sauce. Again, my personal preference is for less cream; someone else might love it. I know it seems like I am being overly picky, but I should mention that the total cost of my lunch (before tip) was $18.75 (sandwich, slaw and diet pepsi that was a fountain drink with mostly ice). Yes, everything is expensive these days, but I couldn't help being disappointed. I would absolutely return and order the Turkey Reuben in a heartbeat but wouldn't order the pepper turkey sandwich, slaw or soda. I'd also recommend dining in the adorable restaurant rather than eating at an office desk with plastic utensils!
