I finally had the chance to visit Brewer's Café. As a southside native, I loved everything about the space the playlist, the ambience, the coziness of the Café. Which iced chai I had was delicious and the croissant was buttered to perfection. This service was superb and I'll definitely be back. I love Richmond. I love my city and I love Brewer's Café lol

Brews & Bagels! Brewer's Café in RVA was a welcome side trip! Who is Brewer you ask? From Stock markets to Organic Fair Trade Coffee! Ajay Brewer left DC, opened a coffee cafe & partnered with Red Rooster Coffee Roaster out of Floyd, Virginia, to bag organically sourced beans that are bold, complex, and always ethically and sustainably grown. These fabulous beans transform into an uncompromisingly good cup of coffee - EVERY time. Beyond the mug! Fan favorites are made-to-order sandwiches, including the house specialty: The Brewer's Club--stacked with fresh turkey, Virginia ham, thick-cut bacon, and Sriracha mayo on toasted potato bread. NOT A MEAT Fan?? The Veggie wrap comes highly recommended!! Add in sweet treats from beloved local bakers like The Treat Shop, Poor Georgie's Bake Shoppe, and Cupcakery, and you'll understand why this spot has a loyal following. I opted for a simple toasted Bagel with cream cheese! Outside seating available and the weather was perfect.

Highly recommend. My husband and I are coffee snobs and loved the coffee. We prefer a light roast Ethiopian and Brewers definitely hit the mark for us. The bagel sandwich was also delicious. Service was friendly, food was fresh, and coffee was great!

We got to try the Cuban, the Bainbridge, cappuccino, iced americano, an one of their in house made juices. The Cuban is one of the best I have had in Richmond. Also the juice.. get their homemade juice. We got the blackberry and it is crazy good. Everything was delicious, the family inside were so nice and gave the best vibes. Such a great hole in the wall find and at the top of our brunch list go-to. This is a must try!!!

Brewer's Breakfast Burrito and Iced Americano

The iced caramel latte and the americano with sugar free vanilla were both really good! We also had the breakfast burritos, which were phenomenal! We loved the atmosphere and the family that owns the place is so cute, their youngest son Juice was there pretending to be stuck to get his mom's attention lol. Definitely recommend this place!

I ordered breakfast through Yelp 25 minutes in advance, but when I arrived, they only started preparing it. I understand if it were fast food like McDonald's, but this café isn't a fast food chain, food takes a longer time to prep there's no quick service, so I don't see the point of ordering ahead if they only start making it when I arrive. The café is very small, and there was no air conditioning that day, so I was sweating while waiting patiently with my dog for quite a while. I ordered the sourdough bread with bacon and egg. The bread was unbelievably hard, almost like it had dried out completely--every fiber was stiff. The bacon wasn't crispy; it was just extremely tough. The quality didn't match the price, which was over $8. The hazelnut latte was decent, though it didn't really taste like hazelnut, but at least it was worth the price. Half an hour later, I realized my gums were sore and bleeding, and I was confused because I hadn't eaten anything hot recently. Then it hit me--it was from the bread I had earlier. I understand that a small café might be trying its best, and I did notice they offer fresh juices, but the price just doesn't match the quality. Unfortunately, this experience wasn't pleasant, and I probably won't return.

Brewer's Cafe had a tent at the South of the James Farmer's Market! We stopped by for some coffee but ended up picking up some waffle sticks! They look absolutely amazing. However they tasted okay. It was a little hard to eat because of the skewer and there wasn't much beyond a traditional waffle. The chocolate drizzle and powdered sugar were good but there just wasn't enough. It was also super light for the price! I'd definitely would want to try out some of the other flavors at the actual shop though!

What is the parking situation at this location? Will I have to parallel park?

Yes but There is always tons of space. It's not a crowded city street. The biggest truck could always find a space on any one of the 4 intersecting blocks nicely

Try a Spanish pan con tomate with one of these slices slightly toasted, with a rub of garlic, salt, and good e.v. olive oil, and you'll be happy as a clam. (What does that even mean?) Or use said previously frozen slices as a dessert treat with your sleepy time tea, toasted with butter and good local raw honey drizzled on it. Bathrooms are very clean. I love the decor, and the seating area feels appropriate for the space. It still has that community, shared vibe that I remember. One of the things I instantly noticed on the menu was their vegan breakfast sandwich with a homemade bean-based sausage patty. I got myself an egg and cheese sandwich on a buttermilk biscuit (delicious, by the way) with pepper jack cheese, veggies (tomato, lettuce, and avocado), and for a dollar extra, one of their vegan breakfast sausage patties. I was immediately impressed by how flavorful the patty was- you get a crispness upon the first bite and then the creaminess of the beans afterwards. It was absolutely incredible in a way I can't even describe. I also got the Thai iced coffee, which tasted as sweet as a typical Thai iced tea, yet in coffee form.
