To be honest the 1star is because he never showed up. First time was an incident of a local fire in his area, kind of understandable BUT he never called I had to call him. 2nd time he also didn't show or call. I called him, he answered and then hung up. I immediately tried to call him back with no return of 2 voice mails a 2 texts. These were prearranged appointments confirmed by him with texts. He charges a service fee because of his time, understandable but for both appointments I had to bring my RV home and miss a day of work. I was impressed with him originally on the phone and most of his posts are good. But look at the 1 star reviews as they are very telling. Wow I used Yelp to get a quote for a leak and though he proposed a cause which is unlikely what gets my goat is he stated the service call is $395 and a min one hour labor for $168. So if he's right and it needs chalk that's $563 to chalk. Now I see how people afford to live here. Update - He sent me this text "you are a joke Of a person for Leaving a review based off your stupidity and the fact you are a man and can't caulk a corner of a shower And people t wonder why I charge like I do". Anthony is a real piece of work. This is my first RV and I learned a lot about maintaining them so far, the used ones that is. This mobile RV mechanic thing is not really a good option as it might seem, for anything. And Anthony, who talked like he knew everything, doesn't. They don't know much about the mechanics of the particular cab/chassis your RV uses, so you generally should take those to a regular mechanic, and the RV shops do have a lot more parts needed because they have the space for them, while the mobile ones don't, and so often have to order the parts and then come back a few days or two weeks later, once the parts arrive, and if you are stuck on the road, your RV can be towed or serviced as a regular car or truck is. So, what's the point in hiring a mobile RV mechanic, when better qualified, normal people with access to parts on hand or a couple hours away, can do the job in normal places? Now, I hired Anthony to: 1) replace a bad carburetor on the power generator 2) repair the broken gas gauge, and, 3) do a tune up on the engine, which was running a little rough. To be fair, 1 & 3 were accomplished fairly smoothly, it seemed, but not 2. It was just as broken as before, stuck on Full all of the time instead of on Empty all the time at the beginning of his work. I paid for the repairs with a CC, each day he finished working, several times, so I collected the approximate labor for 2 from my bank, and they debited from his account. He didn't like this, & wrote a much different account to the bank as to what happened, but it didn't work. After he was long gone, I put in a gallon of Sea Foam gas cleaner into the tank and a woman standing nearby noticed it was leaking onto the pavement. See photos. The stem was not secured properly to the tank. But imagine the size of this spill if I were refilling the 70 gallon tank. Then, a new mechanic eventually dropped the tank again and found that the part inside the tank was the wrong part, designed for a much smaller sized sized tank... I heard lots of different quotes from Anthony that I'd like to share. "You don't have the same rights with an RV like you have with a car", "Working on that RV was dangerous for me because of the traffic at times," so why didn't he ask that it be moved somewhere else? "If you don't pay me for the gas tank part I'll go back and remove the part and leave the tank disconnected from the RV." "I'll sue you for slander" "I make my own rules. Not you." "Not when you do what you do." He first came across as proficient, arguably good at talking, not excellent, but as the costs piled higher and higher, he demonstrated skill not in being a mechanic but in being a proud accomplished liar. It was halfway through the job when this manipulative side was really starting to show, but I let him continue, hoping he would finish but he just gave up and blamed the problems ... on me. Do not hire Anthony for any reason, called him to look at our Rv while staying at a park near Ventura. The second he opened his mouth I felt like I needed to shower. Something rubbed me the wrong way, he refused to talk about our warranty. Got very offended at the thought of even talking to them for us. Quoted us 8000 dollars, needless to say everything just felt really off. Tried to charge us a few hundred dollars for walking over to our rv from another one he was working on in the park and we refused because he was in and out in 1 minute. Got a quote from someone else who was willing to work with our warranty company and it ended up being a total of 1500 dollars charged to them. Needless to say if we had gone with Anthony we would have never gotten reimbursed, not sure that he is even a repair man or if hes just collecting checks and leaving people high and dry. read more

Anthony Of Brewers RV Service Is Fail A Huge Fail! Anthony comes off nice, but does not do good work. He actually seems to be pulling a con in my opinion. He tried to repair my heater multiple times and failed. Still charged for his fail. He tried to repair my refrigerator ignition switch and failed. Still charged for his fail. He put in a new brake controller in my truck & trailer and it doesn't work, it only worked for maybe two trips. He put new wheels and tires on my trailer which were good, but when I had to do a repair to it I found out he did not do the job correctly. He said he ordered me a part and i contacted him numerous times for the part and he never came through with the part and ignored my calls. I would not recommend Anthony or his low rate over priced repair service. He is an overpriced con in my opinion. Stay clear of this repair service is my recommendation. I have found a much better repair person since then. I wrote this only after serious consideration, for I kept getting frustrated with the thousands I spent on this guy and the constant fail on his end. Brewers had previously replaced my tires and batteries and a jack stand on my trailer. He did not finish the job and still needed to come back to fill in the jack stand with a foam so rodents can't come in my trailer. In the meantime, My slide was not working and asked him to come look at it. He still has not finished the foaming of the jackstand to this day. He took a bunch of measurements and stated my slide was not built correctly from the manufacturer and I needed a complete rebuild. He was very convincing that my trailer needed this. I paid for him to order parts on March 5th. (no discussion that this was some custom order he just stated he needed to order parts) In the meantime I contacted the manufacture on March 8th as I wanted to see if they would help cover the cost since my warranty just ran out. KZ's reply was GET A 2nd OPINION because if that was the case it would have been a problem from day 1. I sent Brewers an email requesting the measurements he took as the manufacture stated they would need to see what he is seeing. He stated he would do it the next time he came out but he never came back out. I sent a text to Brewers on March 13th asking if the parts came in and any idea of a schedule. He replied it was ordered and he was waiting for an email from Lippert. I did not hear back from him so I called a different rv tech company who is actually a certified tech and he came out on March 22nd and determined that my trailer did NOT need a full rebuild. He found it to be an electrical issue and determined a motor needed to be replaced. That part is a $285 part. I text Brewers to refund my money on March 22nd as I have received nothing from him and have someone else actually fixing my trailer. Brewers texts me and tells me no refunds its a custom order and I need these parts to fix my trailer. I tell him I don't want them, someone else is fixing it and none of what he stated is what is wrong with my trailer. He shows up at my house on April 3rd aggressively threatening me that we will "have a problem" and throws a round long tube on my driveway. I have a police report with East County Patrol Services from Ventura Sherriffs office due to his overly aggressive manor and trespassing on my property. I tried multiple times to give it back and he left it in the street falling off his van. I called Lippert as the tube had the phone number on it. They stated they could not give me an RMA because I am not the company or person who ordered the parts. I have a recording of Lippert and They stated themselves Brewers is in the wrong and should refund my money. They also offered to pay for the part I actually needed but I already had it ordered from an actual certified tech. They could not believe Brewers was trying to scam me like this and felt bad. My trailer was fixed with a $285 motor and not a $2900 rebuild kit Brewers was trying to scam me with. Brewers grossly misdiagnosed what my trailer needed. After the certified company finished the work he looked up Brewers Yelp reviews and stated the problem I was having with him seems to be a common occurrence. Yelp originally recommended this company and I wish I read the reviews. I finally won my chargeback as it is so obvious this guy is a scam artist. This guy was trying to get $2900 in parts and another $1500 in labor when all I needed was a $285 part. He sounds great the first time you meet him and acts like he knows what he is doing. If we could give 10 stars, we would. We were in a crunch and needed to get our Rpod trailer from SoCal to NorCal, but it was in horrible shape after sitting out in the elements at a storage facility for 5 years. I am out of state, my husband is in Northern California - neither one of us had any vacation time to deal with everything that needed to be done. Anthony handled it start to finish. We did literally nothing but get him the keys. He transported it to his location, bought all the parts, fixed tires, sealing, etc. His communication was excellent. He took pictures of everything he did. There were no hidden fees. Everything was as expected. When we arrived to pick up our trailer, he could have just handed us the keys and driven off. Instead, he helped us hook up the trailer, gave us advice for the drive, and recommendations for things the he would upgrade/change if it were his rig in the future. He wasn't trying to make a future sale because he knew we were taking it out of area. He was simply going above and beyond. It took time out of his Saturday to help us - time we weren't paying him for. He did it because he takes pride in his business and he is a good guy. Is he pricey? We don't think so. He was worth every penny we spent. We gave him a nightmare of a headache and he gave us back an Rpod we could start making memories in again. We can't thank him enough! read more

Our heater went out in our 5th wheel and it's winter so it's cold. I searched for a mobile repair person since we are full time RV'ers . This company is the only one to come up in our area. I had them come out and Anthony the owner came. He knew the problem immediately. He fixed it with a part that would work until he could get us an unit to replace ours. We were grateful to be warm again. We had an area for a fireplace . So we asked if he thought he could put one in for us. He did. It's a beautiful fireplace but the install isn't quite as nice as we had imagined but it will do. Anthony is kind and helpful. He has a lot of knowledge when it comes to RV's and their needs. Anthony totally messed up my RV. He installed solar panels and put the battery bank up under the sofa, and I didn't know anything about any of that so I sat on the sofa and the metal from the sofa touching the batteries so it started a fire.. he installed solar panels to the front of the RV, and when he drilled the holes at the top, he completely severed the lines so I cannot use the lights in the front of the RV. He ordered a part from my propane tank lines and he ordered the wrong part and expected me to pay for it. Then my air conditioning went out and all I needed was the fan because the fan broke and he told me that it was completely gone so he took the air-conditioning completely out. My wife and I called Anthony about a problem with our fifth wheel wardrobe slide out on 6/26/24! Antony came the very same day we called and found that the gears were stripped on the drive system! We also had a problem with the black tank valve being very very hard to open and close! Anthony ordered all the parts for the slide and the black tank valve! He gave a us a price to fix everything and being a trusting couple we paid Anthony in full to do the job! Anthony came back as soon as he got the parts for the slide and fixed better than new!!! Now for the problem with the black tank valve!!!!! Anthony said he would be back in a day or two to replace the valve and cable!!! We have called, text back and forth to where Anthony kept saying he will get to the tank valve soon!!! Mind you...this was last year folks!!! To this date (2/26/25) Anthony has not replied to any of our calls or text!! I'm a single woman who replaced the house battery however in doing so I mistakenly connected the positive terminal to the negative post on the battery. My slide popped out of alignment not even a month later and this jackass tried to charge me $600 to show up to fix his crappy work. I just had to take the RV to arizona to get the slide outs repaired by an actual shop that rebuilds the slides. I will be following up with a court date and contacting his bond provider. read more

We are first-time RVers and recently purchased a used travel trailer from a seller in Thousand Oaks. We needed a pre-purchase inspection to know what we were getting into. The first person we were referred to at another business (Mike) told us on the phone that he could do an inspection, then never returned our calls or answered the phone after that. I found AK Brewer online. He was super responsive, friendly, and patient throughout the whole process. He went to where the trailer was parked and didn't require it be towed to him as Mike would've required. His inspection was thorough and he provided a written report of his findings along with a comprehensive verbal explanation. This helped us to negotiate a lower price with the seller with substantiation. After we used it for the first time under less-than-ideal conditions (during the Thomas Fire), we ran into a couple of unexpected problems. Anthony responded to texts and calls promptly and politely - no charge. He was a little pricey but worth the amazing customer service. My interaction with Anthony started out well. He returned my call promptly, and took the time to talk through my list of 10 or so issues that I hoped to have fixed while traveling through San Diego. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. My family lives in our 5th wheel full time, moving locations almost every week, so we don't have a lot of opportunities to make repairs. We were staying in SD for 20 days, so I called several weeks in advance to lock in my initial appointment. On the day of the appointment I sent Anthony a text to confirm. The appointment time came and went, and I didn't hear anything back. Later I got a text that Anthony had a family emergency, and that he could come the next day. I moved some activities and rescheduled. When Anthony arrived, we spent an hour talking through my list, and then he spent another 45 min or so getting the 2 items submitted that would be covered by my warranty. I believe he then ordered those parts. Over the next 2 weeks we went back and forth. Me following up to see what his plans were and the timing, him responding with various updates and delays. He seemed to forget when we were leaving, and ran out of time to order parts for all but the warranty repairs, which he ordered earlier. To try and get some value out of the time we'd already spent, I asked him to come fix a few of the items on my list that didn't require parts. We scheduled that appointment for 2 days before I had to leave town. Anthony got sick that day and the next day, and I had to leave without getting a single thing repaired. I recently was in the market for a Winnebago Travato RV. I live in Meridian, Idaho, and I located several RVs in California and Oregon. I knew that I needed to have them inspected before I made a purchase. One of the RVs I was considering was in Camarillo, California. So I did a search on Google, and came across Brewer's's Mobile RV Service. I called up the company and got Anthony on the phone. Right from the start, he spent a lot of time with me, answering questions, telling me about his inspection services, as well as his overall views of Winnebago Travato's. There was a Second RV I was considering in Palm Springs, California. I was impressed with Anthony and his knowledge, and I was able to have him inspect both RVs, and at a reasonable price. Anthony set up times with the sellers to look at the respective RVs. Anthony provided me a good review on the one in Camarillo, but advised me against buying the one in Palm Springs. Immediately, after inspecting the RVs, he would call me and discuss what he had found. So impressed was I that I ended up purchasing the one in Camarillo, based on his inspection, and had Anthony do some maintenance and repair work on it. He went up to Camarillo, and drove it down to his shop in Valencia, and a week later, I flew down to take delivery on it. So service oriented is Anthony that he picked me up at the Burbank airport. Since taking delivery of my Winnebago, I have driven it to Arizona, New Mexico and through Utah back to my home in Idaho. I've called Anthony on a few questions and problems. I've had with it, and he's always willing to help me out, no matter when I call. Not only does Anthony give superior inspection services as well as repair and maintenance work, but he's loyal to his customers and is always willing to help them out when they have a problem or question. Therefore, I can without hesitation recommend Anthony and his Brewer's' Mobile RV Service. In fact, in the future, I'm thinking I will take trips down to California (as much as I'd possible) so I can have him do the required maintenance when due. He is not to be trusted - DON'T hire him!!! I hired Anthony to repair the broken cable on my older tent trailer. I had the new replacement parts before he arrived. He said that his rate is $168 an hour plus $195 to show up and it likely will cost $400- $600. I trusted his words. He charged me $1,700 over 2 days and was unable to finish due to a winch that broke during his final assembly (no blame on him). He said to get it rebuilt and he will finish the job in 2 hours. I got it rebuilt and tried for 5 weeks to schedule him to finish the repair, without success. We had an appointment for today (after waiting for 5 weeks) and he said he was sick and to find someone else. I am disabled designer and builder moving into an RV due to this pandemic and can't have roommates because I'm immune compromised. He charged me 1295 for a 400 watt solar kit but all he delivered were 3 panels 100 watt each bought on amazon for 78 dollarsa piece... keystone RV doesn't even sell renology. I also paid 550 for awning fabric he never delivered... I paid 1400 dollars for an AC unit he never installed that can be bought online for 550 dollars. He promised whole sale prices and I trusted him because he sounded nice. Do not be fooled by him because of his charm or you will regret it. His invoices are vague on purpose and when you ask about them he'll talk his way out of it and get mad and hostile towards you and refuse to finish the job or reimburse you. He will not return items you didn't agree on and don't want. He has not delivered an awning I paid for over a month ago. I'll be seeing him in court to get my RV keys and money back. If you have two types of bearing services, maybe explain each rather than just quote me the half as% one.........Story - I called, I told Anthony I live in Santa Clarita and he gave me a price of $195 for a 2-axle 4 wheel bearing service. He comes to you and he works weekends! I didn't have him get into the details because I figured he's the professional, so it must be a pretty comprehensive service like everyone else. I thought it was fair and we scheduled for a date. A few days later, I asked what exactly he would do for my bearing service. He says he doesn't even pull the drums off and that he just looks at the front bearings. "Most axles don't need anything." Let me get this straight......you simply look without removing my wheels or bearings for $195??!! I asked him if he sees that they are greased, what does he do with my $195 service charge? He says he just keeps that money because NOW I live too far away! Are you kidding me??? Then he says if I want more, now it's $450! After he sees where I'm going with it, he abruptly cancels and says that he is working somewhere else and that he will be unavailable for quite a while. Old school work ethic my butt! More like a cheat if your gonna keep my money after you say your doing a service only to look and see that nothing needs to be done. read more
