I have never had a bad experience here . Sat at the bar and tasted a few beers before I selected one. Their selection on tap is unmatched so much variety. As for the food . Delicious. That's all I can say . Price point is high but the food taste upscale and worth it . The staff want to be there . They are friendly they engage with you and give you great recommendations..

A nice spin on dim sum/small plates. However, for the price, I did not think the food blew me away. It seemed like we were paying more for the atmosphere and vibes than the actual food. My favorite was the chicken dumplings. The cocktails were very good. I would go just for the drinks next time.

Brewery Bhavana was a very cool spot - food, drinks, and beer, but you can also buy books and flowers! They have dim sum that can easily be made vegetarian friendly, which is usually so hard to find. We got the Edamame Ginger Dumplings, Sichuan Cucumber Salad, General Tso's Tofu, and Eggplant Pagoda (with added tofu). They also served some delicious chili oil with it. Everything was tasty. My favorite was the Eggplant Pagoda and I was glad our waitress had recommended adding tofu to it to make it more of an entree! The dishes were all on the pricey side - think around $16 for an appetizer and $20-30 for an entree, so if you want to get a bunch of plates to share, it can definitely add up.

We came here on a Saturday morning right when they opened. We didn't have a reservation, but as we enjoyed our meal it started to fill up fast even though there is plenty of seating, so make a reservation. The restaurant is expansive with plenty of seating and it has a bar. We didn't try any of their brewed items, but plan to when we return. I loved that the restaurant had books and bookshelves. It kind of felt like a book store that serves amazing food. We started with the pork and chive shumai and the chicken dumplings. Both were excellent. I probably favored the shumai more. Both were full of flavor, hot, and well-prepared. They have so many dumpling options, so I'll be back to try more next time. The general Tso chicken with steamed rice was so good. The chicken was fried perfectly. The sauce was so tasty and I'm glad they coated the chicken in it really well. There was plenty of extra sauce as well so I coated my rice in it too. The hostess and servers were prompt and polite. Overall really great experience.

We stumbled upon this place while walking in the downtown area. The environment of this restaurant is so inviting - it feels intimate as multiple tables share the food amongst the table and the books and flowers just ground you. The food is entirely an experience and is absolutely delicious. The noodles were a very large serving and the bao was incredible. Even the chili crunch that they bring to the table has an amazing flavor. The mocktail I got was rose lemonade and it was balanced with tart and sweet. Overall an amazing place and would love to come back.

Upscale and intimate restaurant, flower shop, brewery, and bookstore all-in-one! Tapas style meals, easy to share, with lots of options. We got the eggplant, steak with longerhorn peppers, and the general tsos chicken. The steak was tender and well seasoned, I highly recommend! Eggplant was delicious, a little sweeter than anticipated. I did not like the general Tso's, it was not authentic at all, despite the large portion. Very good service. Soup dumplings were also delicious!!

Been wanting to visit this place for a long time given its sterling reputation, and it was everything I was hoping it would be. Everything we had was delicious, service was impeccable, the look of the restaurant is big and inviting, and it just had that buzz about it while you're there that the best restaurants do. We went for lunch after an early morning event, knowing it was close by, I wasn't gonna give away my shot at delicious dim sum. I was fortunate and found street parking, but I could see that being challenging for others in such a popular area (and only getting more so). Since we got there early we were seated right away, but reservations would definitely be recommended for dinner or large groups. Everything on the menu sounded wonderful, so we decided to do a few things family style. We started off with the seafood dumplings and sichuan cucumber salad, and for mains we got the longhorn pepper beef and also an order of chicken lo mein... because noods. The dumplings had a wonderful texture, slightly doughy, superb mouth feel. The contents were an absolute flavor rush once you bit down especially for a seafood lover. I could have consumed order after order of these. The cucumber salad was a nice vinegary, little spicy, flavor change up to these hearty pockets. The beef was rich, tender, and flavorful and made you want to sop up all the sauce with the provided rice. The peppers gave a little spicy and a textural element that was welcome. Finally, the lo mein was a nice big portion, flavorful noodles, tender chicken, exactly what we would expect. Can't wait to come back here for more on a future trip.

Brewery Bhavana is an amazing vibe! It's probably top 5 in one of the more unique interiors I've experienced. Reservations are highly recommended, especially if you're planning to visit on the weekend. There's also a lot of street parking in proximity. We ordered the crab fried rice, the seafood dumplings, and shrimp lo mein. The crab fried rice we sadly were not fans of. It wasn't really giving any crab flavor. However, everything else was perfection. Hands down, my favorite dish was the seafood dumplings. The perfect flavor and perfect pairing of Chinese doughnuts. They also have a great variety of beer selection. The only thing that's keeping me from a 5-star rating is the price of the dishes relative to the portion size. However, I will definitely be back!

I was craving Asian food for my birthday and I had Brewery Bhavana on my list of places to try. It did not disappoint. The ambiance is minimalist and modern, but still welcoming and not sterile. Love the modern lighting and lots of greenery. We enjoyed seafood dumplings in mushroom sauce with savory doughnuts for dipping. Delish! The Peking duck eggrolls were also very tasty. We loved the General Tso's chicken. So classic, but perfectly seasoned. The sliced beef with peppers were on fire. Spicy, but flavorful. The beer list is extensive...a few unique flavors, that we enjoyed. The final touch of the evening was a vanilla birthday cupcake. They have a small, but well thought out menu, extensive brew list, and nice ambiance. All of this makes for an enjoyable dining experience for a special occasion. We recommend a visit to dine, but remember to make a reservation! It gets busy.

Just fantastic from start to finish. The space is interesting. They also have a bookstore, a flower shop and small wine sales section. The place looks slightly industrial and is dimly lit.. get a reservation because the place was packed friday night.Every single table was filled. Service was great, even though our server was very busy. The drinks were delicious--I had a beer called "Sprout" made with figs. Yum! I promise. And the food... Oh my gosh the food. Dumplings were delicious so were the cabbage rolls. Crab fried rice was great. But the Peking duck stole the show. I've actually eaten it in China, and this was better. The buns were tender and airy, the skin was crispy... just doesn't get any better!

Truly, you can't keep my away from Brewery Bhavana. In my most recent visit with a colleague, we came for lunch on a Friday. If you can swing it, this is probably the most empty you will ever find this place. For our dim sum, we got Sizchuan cucumber salad - my faves - crab wontons, and seafood dumplings. This was the first time I have have the seafood dumplings and WOW - they are out of this world. Not only are the dumplings good, the sauce they are in is equally delicious. Our server brought us these long sticks of fried bread to dip into the sauce, and I will genuinely never stop thinking about how good that was. For our entrees, we split beef with Longhorn peppers and chicken lo mein noodles. This is probably my new favorite entree combo. Service was quick and the food blew me away per usual.

Service was great. We arrived just in time as the fish guy showed up so we could have fried whole red snapper fish. Don't think I would of thought beer and dim sum would of been paired together, but lo and behold, here we are. Cute restaurant in downtown.

My absolute favorite restaurant in the triangle. The beers are interesting and so good. The food is INSANE. It's definitely pricey but the quality and taste cannot be beat. Their lo mein noodles and *all* of the dumplings are perfection every single time. Service is great too. The vibe is nice and relaxed, I love sitting at the bar. Great for a nice dinner or for a night of beers.

What is the closest parking garage for the restaurant?

Moore Square Parking Deck is free for 2 hours on weekends!

    Is there patio seating outdoors?

No patio seating outdoors that I've seen.

Do they allow small dogs in their outdoor seating area?

Do they have any kosher options?

No, as someone who has family with restrictions, I thought this was annoying.

Can someone post a picture of their lunch menu? There's a ton of pictures of the drink, Dim sum, and entree pages but no pictures of the lunch pamphlet.

There is no lunch menu. Just small plates and larger plates.

Do they have gift cards for sale?

Yes in the book store/gift shop.

Do they serve the Peking duck during lunch hours?

    Yes they do!

Is this traditional dim sum served on the cart?

    No carts

Can I walk in if I don't get a reservation online?

Yes, I believe they only reserve half the seats in the restaurant!

Can I not walk in here?

You can! Every time I've gone I've walked in. Although I have gone later than normal dinner times.

How many people does the Peking duck entree serve?

Depends on if you order other stuff- We were only 2 people but had enough leftovers for an entire second portion for each of us... If you only get the duck I would think its perfect for 2. If you have other apps 2 or 3 more then I would say its good… Read more

Are there non alcoholic drinks? Tea? Coffee?

They have teas on the menu.

What would be the healthiest option or least amount of calories?

maybe the duck minus the buns. edamame dumplings too. Green beans are good but are cooked in oil (to make them more delicious)

    Are there good vegetarian options?

Not much but some. https://brewerybhavana.com/dim-sum/ has a few choiced in there including the "Crunchy Vegetable and Peanut Dumpling" and "Vegetable Egg Roll" for starters and "Lo Mein" in the main courses. Enjoy!

From the staff to the manager to the food, everything was on point. The food truly speaks for itself. They serve small plates, which we love because it gives you the chance to try different things and experience a variety of flavors. We started with the fried pork belly on tostones. It was perfectly seasoned, topped with avocado, and every bite just melted in your mouth. Next, we had the tamarind sticky ribs with a tamarind mango barbecue sauce. This was a perfect example of how simplicity can create complex flavors. The ribs were cooked just right -- not completely falling off the bone, but tender enough that when you bit into them, the meat pulled apart so easily. They were juicy, full of flavor, and had just the right touch of spice from the chili flakes. Then we moved on to the mini arepas, and oh my God. They had slow-cooked pork, guava barbecue sauce, and fried papas on top. The arepa itself was crispy on the outside, warm and fluffy on the inside. The savory pork paired with the sweetness of the guava barbecue sauce was incredible, and the crunch from the fried papas took it to another level. Now, I have a bit of a sweet tooth, but my wife does not. I wanted dessert, and we were leaning toward the tres leches, but our waitress highly recommended the bread pudding. I am not usually a fan of bread pudding at all, but her recommendations had been on point all night, so I decided to trust her. I am so glad we did. They take a Mexican bolillo, soak it overnight in tres leches, then pan-sear it to create this crispy caramelized outside while keeping the inside warm, soft, and sweet. It is topped with crema and toasted coconut, then they pour warm guava syrup over it and serve it with a scoop of coconut sorbet. The layers of flavor in that dessert were unreal. Honestly, it may have been the best dessert we have ever had. And remember, my wife is not big on sweets -- she usually only takes one bite of dessert, but this time she tried to eat over half of it. Lol. I highly recommend this place. The food, the service, the drinks, and the atmosphere were all amazing. And after dinner, you can even head upstairs to work off the food with salsa lessons and a dance club. This is definitely a spot worth checking out! Me alegra muchísimo haberlo hecho. Jajaja.

Sweet, salty, buttery chaos in the best way. For the main, I went with the pork chop and greens. The chop leaned a little overcooked for me personally, but the sauce helped bring things back together and added good flavor. The greens had a nice little kick of heat, but I kept waiting for that deep smoky ham hock flavor to show up like an old Southern grandma entering the kitchen... and it never quite arrived.
