Tacos (can't recall which ones) and chips queso. Both good. hHad the shrimp tacos (also good) but they didn't survive for the picture.

Had tacos and chips during our independent bike and brew tour. The Stevedore cider was amazing. Nice place, quiet due to 9/1. Will return.

Fun bartender. Nice selection of beer and even vodka drinks for me. They make their own vodka, gin and whiskey. The spent grain pretzels with their Tenpenny beer cheese is delicious. The smoked wings with their honey garlic sauce were outstanding. The smoker is outside.

Stopped in here with some friends while in Traverse City. Nice selection of beers and even some very unique ones. Tried a couple and liked them both. Ordered burgers and sat on the outside patio. The burgers came fast and had a very nice bacon jam on them. They were good size and very flavorful. This is a great place to stop if you want some good burgers and tasty beer.

Pleasantly surprised by the brew works- but in the best kind of way. Open seating with a patio seat area, and picnic tables out front for partial views of the bay. Great beer selection, the cold snap IPA was delicious. Also the pizza place inside, parliament, serves up some SERIOUSLY good za' Highly recommend the chicken bacon ranch- we ordered one togo for home, and it was delicious!

Came for a live band and they cancelled. We were so bummed, but stuck around for a beer and chicken nachos. Family friendly - large shelf of games and toys. You order at the bar and pick up your food at a window. Can't really comment on the service. Beer and food was just okay - we likely will try other breweries in the area before returning.

Stumbled upon this cool little place while being in the area. It looks small from the outside, but it was bigger than I thought on the inside. The ambiance was a little dark, but not enough for it to be weird. Plenty of board games to choose from and even adult games behind the bar. There is a separate spot to order food. We enjoyed a beer while grabbing some cheese bread. I will say that their ranch is not delicious for those of you ranch lovers out there. They also had a cool chalkboard to get your friends drinks if they don't happen to be with you at the time. It's a clever idea that I've seen at a few places. Currently they have a good view to the water, but they will lose that as soon as the new development goes in across the street. Bummer, but I'm sure it will still be a cool place to hangout.

The Workshop Brewing Company is a cool small brewery with a uniqueness all his own. Upon entering you find a convenient coat rack to put your layers when you come in from the cold. The bohemian industrial atmosphere makes this a great place to laugh and relax with you pals. Some tables are made from old table saws and creates a funky workshop look. During my visit I tried the bean wrap, pizza, and wings. The bean wrap was good, but could use a little more filling to round it out as a item on it's own. Pizza and wings were great. Lots of flavor and very enjoyable. The crust was soft, and crispy on the outside. In the front of the building they have an igloo that can be reserved for groups and events. I tried a nitro porter, which was nice and smooth with a solid bit of foam on the to. Definitely would recommend if you're into porters. Guten Appetit and Enjoy Responsibly!

Absolutely terrible food. They often have live music and late night motorcycles revving in the alley way. Weird place.

We always make sure to stop in for a cold brew when we're visiting Traverse City. Great beers, friendly staff, cool vibe.

Beer is average and the happy hour is bogus. Even thought the website states happy hour Monday - Thursday they wouldn't honor it. Beware.

The beer was nothing special, unfortunately. But we enjoyed the open mic night and variety of singers, so the ambiance was 5/5!

I thoroughly enjoy sipping on a saison called the sickle while my wife likes the cold chisel which is more of a Belgian wheat.

It was a mixed crowd, with lots of families and young children. I had the Northwoods Blueberry Açaí mineral water while I waited and it was SO GOOD. Once we were seated and placed our order at the bar, the food came out fairly quickly. We had the hummus appetizer, the Rocket and the Three Rivers. I loved the Rocket - I love any pizza with goat cheese! This was a great spot to kick off our vacation with the fam after a long day of travel!

When we got there, the hostess warned us that the pizzas were taking up to an hour to make. I appreciate that they warned us before we committed to dining there! We didn't mind the wait. There are no waiters, so you order everything at the bar then they bring your food to you with a table number. I ordered the raspberry beer and it was really good. I typically don't like beer, but I love fruit flavors. As an appetizer, we got the red pepper hummus and it was meh--I didn't really like it. It was thick and had the texture of cold refried beans and instead of pita, it was served with tortilla chips that tasted like Tostitos brand. For my flatbread pizza, I chose the Wolverine which was topped with pineapple, pepperoni, jalapeños. I've never had pineapple on pizza so I can't really be a good judge, but it was alright. I liked how thin the crust was. For dessert, we got the mini ice cream bars as recommended by the woman sitting near us. They're Ice Box Brand Ice Cream Bars by a Michigan-based company. They sell two sizes: regular and mini. I chose a mini toffee crunch and it was the perfect size. It was really good. I'd love to just buy these ice cream bars to have at home!!

I walked through the door and patrons were throwing popcorn at each other, dipping napkins in beer, and screaming hoarse obscenities at waitstaff. I understand it is a bar, but I didn't expect to find this in Traverse City. We sat down on the other side of the restaurant--"Doublewide" means there are two restaurants in one building, haha--and waited maybe ten minutes for someone to come take our drink order. My dad's drink order came out wrong and ended up being for the man seated behind us, but that wasn't much of a concern; it happens from time to time at different restaurants, so we didn't think much of it. It was only when we ordered and waited ~1.5 hours for our /appetizer/ that things began to look like a problem. Our waitress was very sweet--small, black hair, and too polite for a job like that. She kept saying that the kitchen was behind and they had a lot of orders, and I believed her; a dingy bar-style restaurant probably doesn't have Michelin cooks to begin with, and then you overwhelm them with a weeks worth of tourism? Anyway I don't remember her name but girlie I'm blowing you a kiss I hope you find a better job After my dad's third refill, though, we never saw her again. Other tables that had more people and had come in after us were getting their food, but we never saw our waitress to ask, and this clearly bothered the man seated behind us (the man who you'll recall had swapped drinks with us, party of one, and hadn't gotten his food either). He, my dad, and I asked another waitress how much longer the food would take and she said she would check, but she came back several times with ambiguous answers and never told us. I never expected to spend so long waiting for food. Again, at this point, all we have received is an iced tea and a water. I have medicine I take for my seizures and a neurological condition and did not take them into the restaurant with me because I did not expect to spend two hours twiddling my thumbs. I told the waitress if she didn't have a solid timetable I would have to leave because I had medicine I had to take, and pointed at my medical bracelet. She scoffed and turned away, and did not answer my question. Anyway, we left six dollars for the iced tea and left because girl what are we doing
