Brewhaus was absolute fire. I got the sampler so I could try a bit of everything and have to say the pretzel and kraut balls are so worth it. I'm going to try and duplicate the kraut balls they were that good. As for food the snitzel and potato cakes

Great German beer on tap here- weihenstephan hefe. Friendly, small bar. Nice outdoor area- just too hot for me today. . We had some beer indoors and enjoyed it. Would love to come back to eat- solid menu with some German food, salads and sandwiches. Chloe was our server- friendly, helpful and fast. She's the best! Would definitely recommend coming here.

a friend and i came a few weeks ago to try it out since we always went for mediterranean or japanese style cuisines. the exterior is very unassuming and the inside appears clean. our server was a bit standoffish but was nice. he was also tending to the bar several feet away so i can't blame him for his absence the majority of our meal. my friend got the Bavarian Pretzel and the Honey Bacon Deviled Eggs (not pictured). the pretzel was the best part of the entire experience, it was so soft and salty and pairing it with pimento cheese was delicious! the deviled eggs had a mix of different mustards (according to the chef that came out) and it gave such a complex flavor that i didn't particularly care for them. the variety of meats i got in the platter weren't bad either. we also got one of their seasonal bread puddings that i can't quite recall the name of it - but it had apples and not much else going for it. the sauerkraut was the most disappointing - very watery and bland. i would likely only come back for the Bavarian Pretzel but i am really glad i finally stopped by to try it out.

My family loves German food and we have high standards. Brewhaus was delicious! We had schnitzel, spaetzle, red cabbage, the hamburger and a pretzel for starters. The pretzel was really good along with the mustards and pimento cheese, a must get! The schnitzel (with mushroom gravy), spaetzle and red cabbage were all fantastic! The burger (my son ordered) was really good as well. It was char-grilled and the meat was very good. If you like German food and the vibes of a small town hangout this is right up your alley!

We decided to try to go on a Saturday evening and we were pleasantly surprised with being able to walk right in and sit on the outside deck. We were met with glasses of water and menus. We chose the Brewhaus sampler, adding pimento cheese and it was scrumptious. The kraut balls were a standout but really that's just by a bit because it was all delicious. We washed it all down with some draft cider and hefe beers. All in all, a wonderful Saturday evening on the Northshore.

    Sampler Appetizer

Returned after a first visit two years ago. Still great, though this visit caught me not too long after a late lunch, so we didn't order a main. We got the appetizer sampler and four sides and shared it all. Pretzel is the star of the show. Don't bother with the pimento cheese add-on. It was melty in a weird way and warm. Kraut balls were good. The brat sliders were brat sliders. Nothing special. As before: the slaw and the cabbage were excellent. Grilled squash and zucchini were good also. The potato pancakes gave "flat tater tot" vibes. Atmosphere is nice, staff were great.

This is a great place in Chattanooga to have a beer and a pretzel. The view was amazing and the service was fantastic. We sat there for a few hours.

Had may dog and needed pet friendly option . Nice patio - Biergarten. Servers were friendly and brought us a water bowl. My daughter had a chicken pecan salad sandwich. She liked lit and left none behind. Fries were potato nuggets . I ate some of her's . Nicely done. I had a spicy brat with kraut and cider mustard. My side was spaetzle . Would come back. Small parking lot but public log just down the street .

Sadly, as an individual customer, that was not my experience on a Thursday night. I arrived a little before 7pm and I was warmly greeted by Drew. I told her I was excited to dine here, specifically in the bar, based on reviewers comments. Her friendliness and positive attitude assured me I made the right decision. However, the bar area was not as inviting or welcoming as the evening progressed. My bartender was cordial and asked if I wanted a cocktail. I asked if this place makes a good Cosmopolitan. He said "Do you like it tart or sweet?" (Never been asked that before, but I appreciated the question.) I said "tart" and he made me the BEST Cosmopolitan I've had in a while! It was served half in a glass and the rest in a small decanter surrounded in a glass of ice. Great presentation and even better drink! Just a touch of pink and nice and strong. 5 star start! Then, it went downhill. I ordered the Wedge Salad ($9) and the Seared Scallops ($18), both under the "Starters, Small Plates" section. Both were very good, with excellent presentation. I should have realized the "Small Plates" would only provide a few scallops (3), but they were very well prepared and quite good. After I ordered and the food was provided, little customer service was given thereafter. I had to ask for water refills twice. (When I finally asked for my check, I got a refill without asking.) During this time, only one other customer was in the bar. The two bartenders were talking to another employee about a streaming finale one recently watched. Eventually, the second bartender came onto my side and I asked if I could order one more item from him since my bartender never came back. (The first bartender was Josh, which I discovered when I got the bill receipt.) The other bartender took my order for the Pot Roast Nachos (as I still somewhat hungry) and the Nachos were absolutely fantastic, just like the reviews recommended. At 8pm, I left as I was the only patron left in the bar (I wonder why?) and they were cleaning up even though closing was still an hour away. The bill for two cocktails and the food mentioned above came to $77. Then, $13 was added for Tennessee state/county tax and also liquor/wine tax!!! Was my meal and service worth $100, not really. As I left, I saw the personable Drew and she asked me how the evening went. I explained and she apologized that it did not meet my expectations. I said I just think I came on an off night. However, maybe she should tell management that if only one customer is left at the bar, you should treat them with the attention and respect as anyone who came in earlier. I don't feel I received the service I deserved for the price I paid so sadly, I can only provide a review based on this one time experience.

We visited during a snowy day in Chattanooga, which normally would have meant sitting on the patio. The patio is heated and dog-friendly, but with the weather being particularly unpleasant, the staff graciously allowed me to join my humans indoors as long as I stayed in my carrier. From the moment we arrived, everyone was incredibly welcoming. Several servers stopped by to say hello, compliment me on my excellent restaurant manners, and generally make me feel like an honored guest. The food was excellent, and my humans enjoyed their meal while I was treated to a side of chicken that disappeared surprisingly fast. The service was attentive, friendly, and genuinely warm throughout our visit. The restaurant itself has a comfortable atmosphere with plenty of character. One of my favorite features was the giant cow mural, which provided excellent entertainment while I waited for my chicken to arrive. I spent several minutes making sure none of the cows planned to leave the wall. What stood out most was how accommodating the staff was. They didn't just tolerate a dog--they made us feel welcome. Dogba's verdict: Great food, wonderful service, heated patio seating, emergency snow-day hospitality, and cows that thankfully stayed inside the paint.

The interior is nice, with it feeling casual but somewhere you could bring a date. And we enjoyed the lobster cakes which were well done, nice sauce, without overwhelming the sweetness of the lobster itself. So that was positive. Where it failed: the tuna bites on regular and not crispy rice was hard to eat. It was good but a little unruly. The halibut piccatta was VERY dry, almost bordering on inedible. Their special, which was a bento box was not great. The flavors didn't go together and their sushi eggroll had cream cheese which is very gross. Their steak frites was fine if not that memorable. Watching the chefs work their magic while enjoying Oyster Happy Hour was dinner and a show all in one. I sampled seven oysters from seven different regions, and my favorite raw oyster was the Cold Creek from Washington. It was clean, briny, and perfectly balanced. As much as I enjoyed the raw oysters, the true star of the evening was the Hearth Roasted Oyster. Buttery, silky, and kissed with just a hint of citrus, they were absolutely unforgettable. The Smoked Grouper Rillette was a pleasant surprise. Rich and smoky, it was elevated by bread-and-butter pickles that added a Southern touch and cut through the richness beautifully. The saltines were classic, but the twice-baked crackers brought an extra layer of crunch that I loved. The King Salmon Crudo was incredibly refreshing. The salmon had a delicate sweetness that paired perfectly with the fresh vegetables, while the serrano peppers added just enough heat to keep every bite interesting. Even the vegetables impressed me. The baby carrots were perfectly tender, and the chimichurri's bright acidity balanced the creamy richness of the toum. For my entrée, I ordered the Gramigna, which was fantastic. The sauce was packed with flavorful andouille sausage from a local butcher and finished with delicious Tomme de Lafayette cheese. Comfort food with a refined touch. To top it all off, the team surprised me with a strawberry gelato for my birthday, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The entire staff had amazing energy and worked together like a well-oiled machine. Sitting at the oyster bar gave me a front-row seat to the action, and my hands cramped just thinking about how many oysters they shucked throughout the evening. The aromas coming from the kitchen were intoxicating. The atmosphere was bright and welcoming, with large windows overlooking the covered patio. At one point, I even spotted a horse-drawn carriage taking a couple on a romantic ride outside, which felt like something out of a movie. The upbeat soundtrack kept the vibe lively, and the extensive bar menu offered plenty of creative cocktails and mocktails. A special thank you to Chef Ben, who took great care of me and even poured my aguachile tableside so I could capture it for a video. Chef Emery and Chef Skylar were also fantastic. It's clear this team takes pride in what they do, and it shows in every detail.
