Been a few years since we stopped in, stopped for the breakfast today and was super impressed. Definitely some of the best breakfast and service in the local area. Skillets were to die for. Pancakes top notch.

I've been here many times over the past 5 years. I have always enjoyed the ambience of the rustic farmhouse, five with the exposed piping and farm house doors. This restaurant has definitely evolved with rotating menu, but has now become a brush spot. The food has very good options for vegans, but has definitely changed and is missing the wow factor. I will still go back and give it a try. The service is always been excellent and I've never had an issue with their service. It is definitely doable spot for picky, eaters, and midway if you live between Cleveland and Chattanooga.

Wine Down Bistro in Cambridge Square is outstanding. I sat at table 26 order 860135 and had an incredible experience from start to finish. I ordered the Bistro Snack, Japanese Cauliflower, Wings, Deviled Eggs, Butcher Cut, and the Chef's Catch. Every dish was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. What really made the evening special was the service. Our waitress was absolutely amazing, attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect. Pair that with the cozy atmosphere and fantastic wine selection and it is clear why this place is a favorite in Ooltewah. I cannot wait to come back.

Really great spot, excellent menu options for everyone. Chicken & waffles were good. Service was excellent. A bit pricey but to be expected anywhere you go these days. I'll be back!

Let's start with the atmosphere. This restaurant was simply immaculate. Was created immediately upon entering, and was seated in a cozy but out in the open spot. The server was really helpful and a delight, although I think it was either her first day or she was new. She had help which was fine, because she had it covered. Now let talk about the delectability; if I can create words, that was the food. First off, those BISCUITS were so soft and airy, yet had a subtle crispy crunch on the outside. I could have eaten a bakers dozen I'm sure. The French Toast was so comforting and so were the grits. It was cold outside and those two really hit a spot. The bacon was cooked to perfection, and the omelet coupled with the grits, were, ummm... yeah. Might I say heavenly. Simply amazing. If and when I'm in the area again, I would absolutely love to try other things on the menu. Although it would be hard not to order BISCUITS.

A great place to gather and enjoy a meal. Different food for every taste in your group. Drinks and food of every description. It's certainly a yum yum location.

    Garden Skillet w/ sweet tea.

Came here for the first time and got their Garden Skillet. It was really, really good. Vegetables were all fresh and flavor was awesome. Our server Leann was over the top and gave us the best service we could have asked for. Friendly and involved management, really impressed and will definitely be back!

The atmosphere and wait staff are just ok. Wait staff weren't familiar with entree ingredients. The food is expensive and weird. I had a Krystal burger this week and this was far worse. I had the spaghetti squash carbonara. The squash was mushy and sitting in a mass of scrambled eggs. The whole thing was sour with pieces of pre cooked bacon on top. The whole thing was inedible. My husband had the wagu burger which he described as sweet- beef shouldn't be sweet. Will definitely not be returning.

Japanese Fried Cauliflower was AMAZING & it's a HUGE order so WOOHOO for air fry leftovers

My gal pal Karen met me for a nice GNO & we could not have been more delighted with our meal & the exemplary service we received this evening. Kacey Rogers was SO incredibly AWESOME & the house salad, soup dejour (bacon mushroom chowder) & Japanese Cauliflower was absolutely delicious Kudos to the Chef & crew of Wine Down Bistro. Cheers till we meet again

Go if you must. There is nothing special about it! Too crowded and too expensive for the quality of food. I would pass!

There's plenty of parking nearby so you don't have to walk far. This neat beer bar reminds me of the crowler shops that you used to find around Atlanta, with around 30 taps containing about a thrid local beer, so you can sample several local breweries without visiting each one (they're mostly not too near each other so this is very convenient). The taproom "beertender" seemed to be fairly knowledgeable regarding the various offerings - there's also a convenient list highlighting the different beers with style notes. We sat at the bar and were able to bring in some food from the nearby restaurants (I grabbed some wings at the nearby Marthie Ann's which were excellent). To drink I tried Hoptown's own Orange Mango Wheat - a somewhat basic wheat beer with hings of sweet tangerine and mango - nothing special. I had a Maine Brewing "Lunch" with the wings which is always a winner - it's an exceptional New England IPA. Service was great - I can see myself hitting Ooltewah just to come by for a break in driving.

I ordered the Carne Asada, which is usually my "go to" when I eat at a mexican restaurant. Wait time wasn't so bad. The chips and salsa were good too, the tortilla chips were crunchy and salsa was flavorful. But unfortunately, my Carne Asada fell flat. I asked the beef to be cooked at medium but the beef was tough and overcooked. I was surprised at how dry it was. There were some pieces of the beef that were decent, but overall just too overcooked and dry for me. It was pretty disappointing actually for my first time here. Service was great, they were attentive and checked up on us from time to time. I just felt like the Carne Asada price at $17.99 did not correlate with the quality of meat at all. The other sides were good, like the avocado, beans and rice. And the overall portion size was great too. But for the dish as a whole, I can't justify the price for that. I've been to other mexican restaurants in the area with better Carne Asada that I'd choose in a heartbeat. Despite that experience, I'd come back here but I'd definitely order something else.

We all ordered the same thing: the Mushroom Ravioli. It was absolutely delicious. The raviolis were covered in sauce and had parmesan and parsley sprinkled on top. Presentation was nice. I loved how creamy, yet light the sauce was. Also perfectly salted too. The Mushroom Raviolis were very flavorful, had a rich umami and savory taste to it. For my first dish here, it was very memorable. I'm pretty sure I was about to drink the sauce because I loved it haha. My only complaint is that I wish there was more. The dish had 6 raviolis. So we arrive just about 15 minutes early but were immediately seated. It was a bit confusing about where the host stand is since there are two entrances... but no problem because the owner was at the bar to greet us. The customer service is top tier! The venue is beautiful! But the food ... left something to be desired. I ordered the pot roast based on recommendations from the waiter. He also recommended the greens over the green beans. I also added a side of mashed potatoes and fried corn. So first, the plate came out messy (see pic). It would have only taken a second to wipe off the edge of the plate. Then the pot was appeared shredded and covered in thyme and rosemary. Both over powered the meat. I'm wondering if I had the last piece and they covered things up with the extra seasoning from the bottom. My friend also ordered the pot roast and although hers was also chopped, she did not have as much thyme and rosemary- although she complained that it was too much. Next the greens tasted unseasoned and undercooked. The fried corn was not fried but were kernels of sweet corn in some type of cornstarch slurry - awful! The mashed potatoes are boxed but edible however the white gravy was not good. I missed on the menu that the gravy is white - it should be brown. Finally, we received a piece of cornbread- it was very dense but sweet. My friends liked it but I did not. My friends had a mix of feelings from "it was good" to "just ok but I won't take my left overs home." Needless to say I also did not take my left overs home. One saving grace about the meal was the fruit tea! It was delicious! I also ordered two chocolate covered strawberries for dessert and I wished I ordered more! Since it was four friends birthday- the singer (yes there was live music) called out their names and sang a rendition of "Happy Birthday". This same singer had the room up and dancing on several song! She did a wonderful job. Plus the restaurant provided a free dessert to each of the four birthday friends! They all enjoyed their desserts! So the verdict... the venue is beautiful and a vibe for a Saturday night but unfortunately I won't return for the good. There are much better spots for soul food at much cheaper price point!
