Closeup of Shrimp Po' Boy sandwich. Amazingly fresh and loaded with shrimp.

Cool place, great service and the shrimp po' boy was amazing. We ordered the large one and split it - it was HUGE and loaded with very fresh shrimp tomatoes and pickles. Topped that off with a Guinness. We will definitely be back. The waitress (I shoulda got her name) was fantastic and split everything for us.

Island girl rum bucket. Awesome drink

The service is always quick, no matter how busy the place is. I ordered the Thai chili shrimp as an appetizer, and for my entrée, I ordered the fish and chips with a side of beer. The shrimp was fresh and delicious, but the fish and chips were the star! They're definitely some of the best in the city. Paired with a cold beer, it was absolutely heavenly.

This British pub gives you a nice break from the traditional Nashville chicken that permeates most of the menus in the city. Our larger party was seated in a private room, and our waitress was very attentive and friendly. We started with the Belhaven Beer Cheese and Fried Pickles. Being from Wisconsin, I'm used to beer cheese dip being served in the middle of a giant salted pretzel. Here, there were soft pretzel pieces and fresh veggies. Amazing. Healthy and indulgent! The pickles were hot and crunchy on the outside, and perfectly tender on the inside. The creamy dill sauce was the perfect accompaniment, and a nice change from the usual ranch. As a main meal, my husband had the Sausage Roll and I had the Nashville Hot Chicken Sliders (my first hot chicken experience in Nashville). The Sausage Roll was a nice take on the classic roll (which we've had in the UK), made of ground sausage instead of a full sausage link. It also came with two dipping sauces, since that's a classic American thing. The sliders were perfectly sized, and I liked that the honey was served on the side, so I could decide how much I wanted on each bite. Seating is available inside and out, so you can decide which way to enjoy your meal on a warm Tennessee day.

Shout out to Derek Williams singing and playing his sax like a master - truly captivating the entire place. Next time we will eat here because EVERY dish that came out smelled and looked fantastic. I wasn't hungry, but my senses were telling me otherwise! If you're in Nashville, you must check this spot out! Jump, Jive, AND Wail! Woooo (that's worth 50 claps Mr. Williams!)

My fiancé and I are getting married next week, and they surprised us with complimentary champagne, which was such a nice touch. We started with the lobster bisque and the Caesar salad. The Caesar was your standard salad, nothing that stood out, but the lobster bisque was rich, flavorful, and easily one of the highlights. They also had a great selection of cocktails and beer to choose from. For our main we split a NY Strip with mashed potatoes. Now I'm usually a ribeye guy, but I have to say this steak was cooked to perfection. It melted in your mouth, and the butter they used was spectacular. The mashed potatoes were a touch dry for my taste, though my fiancé loved them. The best part might be the atmosphere. You can feel the history the moment you walk in, and the live piano playing in the background ties the whole experience together. We will absolutely be back!
