This British pub gives you a nice break from the traditional Nashville chicken that permeates most of the menus in the city. Our larger party was seated in a private room, and our waitress was very attentive and friendly. We started with the Belhaven Beer Cheese and Fried Pickles. Being from Wisconsin, I'm used to beer cheese dip being served in the middle of a giant salted pretzel. Here, there were soft pretzel pieces and fresh veggies. Amazing. Healthy and indulgent! The pickles were hot and crunchy on the outside, and perfectly tender on the inside. The creamy dill sauce was the perfect accompaniment, and a nice change from the usual ranch. As a main meal, my husband had the Sausage Roll and I had the Nashville Hot Chicken Sliders (my first hot chicken experience in Nashville). The Sausage Roll was a nice take on the classic roll (which we've had in the UK), made of ground sausage instead of a full sausage link. What a great and quirky and fun Pub in Nashville! It's right across the street from one of the hotels I usually stay in, so I've had a chance to pop in for a treat while waiting for my room. My hubby and friends have come to have a quick drink and bite and it's just always good vibes. Sometimes it's INSANE and LOUD and BUMPIN because of a game or match, and other times it's more chill and you can watch whatever is on the screen/tv and just chill. Either way, it's a lot of fun. They have an extensive bar menu and can pretty much come up with anything you want to drink. When you walk into the Pub you immediately notice the immersive and beautiful decor, it's a very nice and big space! Our server was really wonderful, she was personable and helpful even when we had a bunch of questions and dietary restrictions. It's not reflected on the menu so I think it's worth noting they have a black bean burger on the menu for vegetarians- I think they should definitely put it on the menu since there aren't really other veggie friendly entrees. Unfortunately we didn't have a great experience with our food. The chicken spring rolls were the biggest hit, the sausage rolls were good but strangely sweet and maple flavored which wasn't in the description. The chicken gouda pasta was a real miss for me, there was no bacon on it which was in the description, and it was flavorless and mushy. I actually sent it back which I never do. Stopped in for a quick bite. I had the Caesar and it was really good. The croutons were house made and forkable which I love. Excellent flavor to the dressing and the greens were fresh. The side of English chips was delicious!! Super fluffy inside and fried crisp on the outside. The lavender cocktail was perfect on a spring day. The curry was really good and full of flavor. My wife and I went there tonight for a late dinner. She ordered the mac & cheese and I ordered a salad with grilled chicken. My wife also order a glass of house wine. The servers were nice with one of them in training. When my salad came, didn't have the grilled chicken which I ordered. It took me more than five minutes to get the waiter's attention. which he apologize for the error. He took my salad back to the kitchen and it took about eight minutes or so for them to return it with the grilled chicken. The salad was fine, nothing outstanding. Last night we went to The Pub Nashville, as I always want to visit when in town. Our server, Audrey, was pleasant and even gave us a shot for FORGETTING OUR ORDER COMPLETELY. Absolutely lame, I was hungry and left without food. How do you take an order, when your painfully slow, and never extend it to the kitchen. I'm not going back, not ever... The Goat Cheese Dip was good- not something I have had before- and the Scotch Egg was also good and not overly breaded. The Gouda Mac was a little bland but the gouda taste was there. This is the place we decided to eat&spend time on St Patrick's day while in Nashville. It didn't disappoint. When we got there we were told 90min wait, we headed to the bar with everyone else for some drinks. They ladies behind the bar dis a great job at checking to make sure we had drinks.
