The wait is not that long.. we came here as walk in's 2x on our 1week stay that started in Bozeman, went down to Yellowstone, then to Idaho for UTV riding and then to Jackson Hole WY to go see the Teton National Park. It was nice to walk around the local shops while we waited and then afterwards to work off those delicious carbs. Thin crust pizzas clean, fresh, not heavy and seasonal ingredients. The crust is soooo good. Chewy and some char. We had: Montana Burger Royale My teen son dreams about this. Yes its 27.00 and he said its the BEST burger he's ever had. I would have to agree (and we live in Austin TX where there's great cow) -the burger meat melted in your mouth -the egg dripping as you break the yolk was perfection. The bacon so juicy, the brioche bun (that was the winning touch) We shared: Hot Honey Pizza- so good 9/10 Spicy Burrata- also great. 8/10 Mac n cheese- that was the only miss. Way under seasoned and the white sauce seemed to get sucked up by the pasta so the dish was super dry. 3/10 Frites and Fondue- fries were great. Thick cut with finely shaved pecorino. Could have used a heaping more of the shaved cheese. -the fondue was ok, seemed still under seasoned or just not creamy enough? Small menu printed on one sheet. Drink selection has a few tap offerings, along with canned drinks and wine. I got a local amber ale from the tap which was pretty good. For entree, I ordered the bison meatloaf which came with carrots and mashed potatoes. They gave 4-5 good sized slices of meatloaf. The savory sauce on the meatloaf was pretty good, and the meatloaf was solid and filling. Decent mashed potatoes and carrots. Plate was $30 something. Overall satisfied. My friend got the king salmon for $45, and said it was tasty but portion wasn't big as with most salmon dishes in these type of restaurants. read more

We love this place for takeout and it's good every time, but our first dine-in experience was a disappointment. The Fungi Pizza: This is our usual go-to, but the dine-in version was totally off. For takeout, they pack the greens separately so you can control the heavy lime flavor, and they include a cream of mushroom sauce that makes it incredibly creamy. In the restaurant, they forgot the cream sauce entirely and piled the greens on top with so much lime it tasted like biting into lemons. We tried adding salt and pepper to cut the intense acidity, but it didn't help at all. The Japan Chicken: On the plus side, the Japan Chicken was excellent--incredibly juicy and crispy. This dish is actually much better when you dine in. When we get it for takeout, it loses its crunch and ends up feeling like a basic chicken nugget. Backdrops of Lauryn Hill, Aaliyah, Erykah Badu.. the dinner playlist was on point. For dinner, I was torn between the bison meatloaf or the bison bolognese. The foodie in me wouldn't allow me to settle for the meatloaf, so bolognese it was and IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! House made noodles were cooked to perfection. Revelry is a nice restaurant to visit in Bozeman. We sat out on the covered patio, the inside is very nice too. Our waitress was very kind, provided great service & great recommendations! We had the FRITES & FONDUE for an appetizer, fries were great, the Parmesan was a nice touch and the fondue didn't have a lot of flavor. Our entrees were served hot, packed with flavor & the pasta was cooked al dente. We both loved the our entrees, as we continued our meal seeing all the other entrees going to tables we are excited to come back to try the vast options on the menu. My friends and I were looking for a good dinner spot to do to while we visited Bozeman and heard great things about this restaurant and it didn't disappoint! They have lots of options on their menu and GF options as well :) I had the arrabiata pasta and my husband ordered the hot honey pizza. Both were AMAZING. Excellent dropped in for a Friday lunch. Still crowded but able to get a seat at the bar with no wait, otherwise it would have been at least 30 min. Outstanding service and relaxed atmosphere. We went with the house salad to start. It was simple but real good. The vinaigrette was outstanding added the perfect amount of acid with enough sweetness to balance it out real well. I was in town for work staying at the AC Hotel across the street from Revelry. After finding Revelry on Yelp, I saw the Japan Chicken and knew I had to try it! When I walked in, I ran into a co-worker who had just finished eating a Smash Burger and loved it! I sat at the bar and was so glad I did because the bartender provided excellent customer service! I ordered the Beet Salad and the Japan Chicken. But what I didn't do is read the actual description of the Japan Chicken. I was going off of the picture I saw on yelp so when I got the Japan chicken, it was way too spicy for me. I took a couple bites and I could not eat any more. Thankfully, the bartender was kind enough to take it back for me and bring me another plate that had none of the spice on it as well as easy on the sauce. This I could eat! The only thing that I did find with the Japan chicken is the batter was a bit thick to me, but that is more traditional, but I would preferred just a slightly lighter batter. The leftovers were also excellent the next day for lunch! Overall I enjoyed the warm, welcoming, ambiance and the experience. We had a delicious first meal in Bozeman at this restaurant. Arrived at the end of happy hour, and got to enjoy some small plates from that menu, and stayed long enough to order a pasta to split from the dinner menu after. We started with the beet and burrata salad, which was full of yummy complimenting flavors and fun textures. I think it could have done without the yellow peppers but I just ate around those. The pepitas with the pistachio butter and beets were excellent, and the burrata added a creamy touch. We also tried the frites and fondue. The fries were thick and browned how I like them, but the fondue wasn't my favorite and was a little too overpowering in flavor for my taste. The parmesan on top of the fries was a nice touch. For beverages I had a local pale ale from Bridger brewing that was crisp and went well with the meal, and my partner tried the rotations shrub (peach), which she said was just okay. The star of the show was the arrabiata pasta made with vodka sauce and Calabrian chilis. The pasta was cooked perfectly Al dente and was well sauced, truly delicious. The ambiance is nice, and the service was fine. They checked on us frequently but not entirely friendly, maybe our waitress was having a bad day. Wow, the food here is amazing. We made a reservation, and I highly recommend doing this. We were visiting Bozeman during an off time and right before Thanksgiving so it should have been very slow (which it was) but this restaurant was jam packed on a Friday night at 6pm. And for good reason. The food here is incredible and I am still dreaming about the bison Bolognese. I mean I could eat that everyday. My husband and I can't stop talking about it. I'd regret ordering anything else except everything we ate was fantastic so i can't. The only thing I wish this place had was fancy cocktails. Then this would be the perfect restaurant and I'd move to Bozeman just to come here every weekend. Yes, I love the Bolognese that much. I'd move my whole life for it. There was a wait time, but we were able to sit at the bar instantly! All of the plants and wooden furniture were beautiful. I was impressed with the care the employees put into making sure everything was perfect. We initially ordered the fungi pizza, half with cheese and half without. The chef came out explaining that the pizza would burn without something lol. He offered doing a marinara, olive oil or vegan cheese and I decided to try the vegan cheese. The patties were thick and reminded me of an ordinary double patty cheeseburger. The apple and bleu cheese salad had mixed greens, bacon pieces, white shredded cheese, spiced hazelnuts, crisp shallots and a cinnamon-Tabasco vinegarette. Revelry is a great restaurant at Downtown Bozeman. Sat at the counter immediately; it was a busy Thursday evening and were lucky as we just walked in. The interior was big and airy and had a rustic barnyard feel. Outdoor seating was also available but it was raining on that day. The noise level was a little louder than average. Our server Kayla was sweet, attentive, and gave us great recommendations. They have a lot of gluten-free options. Huckleberry lemonade was refreshing. The huckleberry salad was crisp and yummy. Arrived in Bozeman yesterday for graduation weekend. Revelry was hopping but we enjoyed a yummy late lunch on the patio. My husband & daughter had the burger & truffle fries. It is a smash burger. They would have preferred a regular burger. But thoroughly enjoyed their big burger with the egg is a nice touch. I had the apple & bleu cheese salad with grilled chicken. now I don't really need to review this place because there are so many other people that have so I'll just add that we sat at the bar because we showed up without reservations on a Friday night at 6:30 PM so what do you expect!? We sat at the corner so that we could face each other like at a table and the bartender was very nice, he was not as attentive as I would've liked however I think he was the only bartender for the whole place if I remember correctly. The bar filled up quickly with other diners. It is a nice looking bar, bright and with a granite(?) countertop and they were several closed caption TVs. The food came out directly from the kitchen which was just over our shoulders, instead of giving it to the bartender to serve to us, so that saved a few steps and time in getting the food fresh. The countertop at the bar is enormous so you can order multiple plates and not have to worry about there not being enough room for all of them. After being in the Yellowstone area for six days and not having had really any huckleberries other than huckleberry ice cream we had to order the salad with huckleberries. It was an extremely large salad and certainly enough as an entrée for one person. Very nice mix of flavors and textures. The karaage was five large pieces of chicken breast with a very crispy coating and I would order again as an entrée. The bison meatloaf with mashed potatoes was really amazing. It's the place I choose again and again for date nights, ladies brunch, business lunches and just about everything in between. They source the very best, and I usually choose a salad, even if just on the side in some capacity, while there to enjoy them. They also have had some of the same, reliable and friendly staff for many years, which makes a difference in a good experience and usually comes with great recommendations, especially for wine or beers. **This review is especially for my fellow gluten sensitive or Celiac folks!** As a gluten sensitive person I was like a kid in a candy store last night when my husband and I found this place on our last day of vacay. So it was the smash burger on a gluten free bun WITH FRIES and my husband and I split an order of the fried Japan chicken. The Japan chicken was slightly breaded and sauce wasn't too heavy. It reminded me a bit of a fancier version of general tso chicken. It was ok, to me over-hyped. Thr bison meatloaf was unique and meatloaf was tender and juicy and satisfied my curiosity about bison meat. I wouldn't get this again however because the meatloaf was a bit too salty. My family and I had an early dinner at Revelry, and we got in just fine on a Saturday evening in May (before 5:00 P.M.). The atmosphere is great. The service is excellent. The server was very personable and attentive. We ordered the cauliflower wings, frite fondue, buffalo meatloaf, smash burger, and the pasta. All the food was delicious. It was delivered in a timely manner. The only ding was they brought us the wrong appetizer (a Japan chicken instead of a frite fondue), and when we pointed it out, they took the Japan chicken back instead of just leaving the appetizer. Stayed in Bozeman for a work trip and glad I had some time to do some exploring and stumble across this place! Probably one of the best smash burgers I've had. I ordered the pasta alla vodka, and my cousin got the burrata pizza. Both were delicious and super generous portions. We ended the meal by sharing a warm chocolate chip cookie with a scoop of ice cream and two "shots" of milk (don't judge). The cookie was soft and gooey, and the milk shots were such a fun touch.
