The wait is not that long.. we came here as walk in's 2x on our 1week stay that started in Bozeman, went down to Yellowstone, then to Idaho for UTV riding and then to Jackson Hole WY to go see the Teton National Park. It was nice to walk around the local shops while we waited and then afterwards to work off those delicious carbs. Thin crust pizzas clean, fresh, not heavy and seasonal ingredients. The crust is soooo good. Chewy and some char. We had: Montana Burger Royale My teen son dreams about this. Yes its 27.00 and he said its the BEST burger he's ever had. I would have to agree (and we live in Austin TX where there's great cow) -the burger meat melted in your mouth -the egg dripping as you break the yolk was perfection. The bacon so juicy, the brioche bun (that was the winning touch) We shared: Hot Honey Pizza- so good 9/10 Spicy Burrata- also great. 8/10 Mac n cheese- that was the only miss. Way under seasoned and the white sauce seemed to get sucked up by the pasta so the dish was super dry. 3/10 Frites and Fondue- fries were great. Thick cut with finely shaved pecorino. Could have used a heaping more of the shaved cheese. -the fondue was ok, seemed still under seasoned or just not creamy enough? I'd swap that for some roasted garlic with the truffle oil. 6/10 Local brews and ciders were great! 9/10 Huckleberry Cheesecake 9/10 save room for this bad boy. We split it between 4 people. Not too sweet. Tart and delightful! The world cup was on the TV so it was a hopping place even as it rained during a late June evening. Parking garage nearby is free for 2hrs so thats cool! Had about a 30-minute wait, but the food smelled so good that I knew it was worth the wait. The atmosphere is really nice..very vintage and cozy. I wanted to take the chairs home with me. The whole place reminded me of downtown San Luis Obispo, CA. The Carne Frite was AMAZING. It's basically a piece of steak served with fries, but the steak was so flavorful I completely forgot about the fries. As a pizza connoisseur and meat lover, I also had to try the Carne Pizza. It wasn't the best pizza I've ever had, but definitely wasn't the worst either. The Montana Burger was really good, and the bacon was amazing. We were pretty tired from all our travels for the day, so we were happy to find this place on UberEats. We ordered two pizzas. Wasn't sure if we should order one or two because the sizing wasn't clear, but a lot of reviews mentioned the pizzas are more around the personal size. I'd say two people could probably share a pizza no problem. We got the vodka pizza, added Italian sausage, as well as the pepperoni. The three of us nearly polished off both pizzas. Small menu printed on one sheet. Drink selection has a few tap offerings, along with canned drinks and wine. I got a local amber ale from the tap which was pretty good. For entree, I ordered the bison meatloaf which came with carrots and mashed potatoes. They gave 4-5 good sized slices of meatloaf. The savory sauce on the meatloaf was pretty good, and the meatloaf was solid and filling. Decent mashed potatoes and carrots. Plate was $30 something. Overall satisfied. We love this place for takeout and it's good every time, but our first dine-in experience was a disappointment. The Fungi Pizza: This is our usual go-to, but the dine-in version was totally off. For takeout, they pack the greens separately so you can control the heavy lime flavor, and they include a cream of mushroom sauce that makes it incredibly creamy. In the restaurant, they forgot the cream sauce entirely and piled the greens on top with so much lime it tasted like biting into lemons. We tried adding salt and pepper to cut the intense acidity, but it didn't help at all. The Japan Chicken: On the plus side, the Japan Chicken was excellent--incredibly juicy and crispy. This dish is actually much better when you dine in. When we get it for takeout, it loses its crunch and ends up feeling like a basic chicken nugget. The foodie in me wouldn't allow me to settle for the meatloaf, so bolognese it was and IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! House made noodles were cooked to perfection. The bolognese sauce coated perfectly without any run. The fresh bison just takes it to another level. My only gripe, fresh country bread was a small and I mean small fee. I was in town for work staying at the AC Hotel across the street from Revelry. After finding Revelry on Yelp, I saw the Japan Chicken and knew I had to try it! When I walked in, I ran into a co-worker who had just finished eating a Smash Burger and loved it! I sat at the bar and was so glad I did because the bartender provided excellent customer service! I ordered the Beet Salad and the Japan Chicken. But what I didn't do is read the actual description of the Japan Chicken. I was going off of the picture I saw on yelp so when I got the Japan chicken, it was way too spicy for me. I took a couple bites and I could not eat any more. Thankfully, the bartender was kind enough to take it back for me and bring me another plate that had none of the spice on it as well as easy on the sauce. This I could eat! The only thing that I did find with the Japan chicken is the batter was a bit thick to me, but that is more traditional, but I would preferred just a slightly lighter batter. The leftovers were also excellent the next day for lunch! Overall I enjoyed the warm, welcoming, ambiance and the experience. I have friends who are going to be town in February and I've already recommended Revelry to them. I will definitely be back if I ever returned to the area. read more

Absolutely hands down probably the best local restaurant food I have eaten at lunch time in the past 5 years my hat goes off to the cooks. We ordered the Japan chicken plate and the Royale hamburger both were amazing again hats off to whoever cooked the chicken because that was the best cooked chicken I've had almost in my life. It was perfect juicy perfect cuts no tendons the flavors on the Japan chicken were a perfect fit. The burger was amazing on a brioche bun with the egg was a great ad that I love to do. But it came as part of the service along with two fat fat slabs of bacon and they were like belly meat not like traditional thick cut bacon so good service was great from our waitress friendly and attentive. My soda was a bit on the flat side though please add some more carbonation to the soda I don't drink alcohol much and when I get bad soda it throws me for a loop it's so easy to get that right. Wow, the food here is amazing. We made a reservation, and I highly recommend doing this. We were visiting Bozeman during an off time and right before Thanksgiving so it should have been very slow (which it was) but this restaurant was jam packed on a Friday night at 6pm. And for good reason. The food here is incredible and I am still dreaming about the bison Bolognese. I mean I could eat that everyday. My husband and I can't stop talking about it. We had the FRITES & FONDUE for an appetizer, fries were great, the Parmesan was a nice touch and the fondue didn't have a lot of flavor. Our entrees were served hot, packed with flavor & the pasta was cooked al dente. Arrived at the end of happy hour, and got to enjoy some small plates from that menu, and stayed long enough to order a pasta to split from the dinner menu after. The pepitas with the pistachio butter and beets were excellent, and the burrata added a creamy touch. We also tried the frites and fondue. The fries were thick and browned how I like them, but the fondue wasn't my favorite and was a little too overpowering in flavor for my taste. The parmesan on top of the fries was a nice touch. For beverages I had a local pale ale from Bridger brewing that was crisp and went well with the meal, and my partner tried the rotations shrub (peach), which she said was just okay. The star of the show was the arrabiata pasta made with vodka sauce and Calabrian chilis. The pasta was cooked perfectly Al dente and was well sauced, truly delicious. The ambiance is nice, and the service was fine. They checked on us frequently but not entirely friendly, maybe our waitress was having a bad day. Tucked in the corner, this was a perfect position to people watch and enjoy a good lunch. We ordered the Japanese fried chicken on marinated cucumbers with sweet chili sauce. The crunch and crispy skin was perfect. This dish was delicious. The smash burger with two patties, pickles, cheese, ketchup, mustard and jalapenos was good but no real crunch on the edge. The patties were thick and reminded me of an ordinary double patty cheeseburger. The apple and bleu cheese salad had mixed greens, bacon pieces, white shredded cheese, spiced hazelnuts, crisp shallots and a cinnamon-Tabasco vinegarette. The vinegarette was very unique and the salad was stuffed with all kinds of delicious treats. Revelry has high energy, a cool vibe and a great local following. Our server Kayla was sweet, attentive, and gave us great recommendations. They have a lot of gluten-free options. Huckleberry lemonade was refreshing. The huckleberry salad was crisp and yummy. now I don't really need to review this place because there are so many other people that have so I'll just add that we sat at the bar because we showed up without reservations on a Friday night at 6:30 PM so what do you expect!? We sat at the corner so that we could face each other like at a table and the bartender was very nice, he was not as attentive as I would've liked however I think he was the only bartender for the whole place if I remember correctly. The bar filled up quickly with other diners. It is a nice looking bar, bright and with a granite(?) countertop and they were several closed caption TVs. The food came out directly from the kitchen which was just over our shoulders, instead of giving it to the bartender to serve to us, so that saved a few steps and time in getting the food fresh. The countertop at the bar is enormous so you can order multiple plates and not have to worry about there not being enough room for all of them. After being in the Yellowstone area for six days and not having had really any huckleberries other than huckleberry ice cream we had to order the salad with huckleberries. It was an extremely large salad and certainly enough as an entrée for one person. Very nice mix of flavors and textures. The karaage was five large pieces of chicken breast with a very crispy coating and I would order again as an entrée. The bison meatloaf with mashed potatoes was really amazing. They source the very best, and I usually choose a salad, even if just on the side in some capacity, while there to enjoy them.
