It's crazy how I didn't remember the name of this place but when I walked in everything came back to me. The famous wings. After I called my husband to confirm this was the place I was excited because they wings are everything. This is the first time I tried other items from their menu, onion rings. Mozzarella sticks and zucchini sticks all which were amazing and for a reasonable price. They had more than enough seating area here. We definitely wasn't one of the locals but we stilled enjoyed ourselves. The service was good, she was going back and forth from the bar and tables so it took a little bit but not complaints. Looks like a dive, acts like a tavern. We needed a quick bite and a cold drink, and it happened to be Mothers Day so we needed to find a bar-that-serves-food and divey enough to not be packed in for a special Brunch. Yelp to the rescue. In addition to a nice big bar and lots of taps, there are plenty of tables plus booths. We chose the latter. Barmaid came over pretty quick. We shared a 12-piece of their (truthfully) award winning wings with the garlic Parmesan sauce. Dam good! Nice and crispy, moist and meaty. Really liked the sauce. They have a big variety of sauces including some really unique choices. The menu was pretty extensive, much more than wings and burgers. Well drink was $6, they have Quick Draw and a very nicely placed dart board. No pool table. Adequate number of TVs, and an on premises ATM. Parking looks to be street only and hard to come by. I hate leaving bad reviews & we were totally looking forward to the menu. Lots of good options at a reasonable price. However, not only did the water taste like bad breath, but the nachos were made straight out of a can. The guac was not fresh. The jalapeños def came from a jar & the cheese was straight Tostitos. Besides the dirty water & the DIY nachos, the food was taking forever to come out. The place was not even a little crowded. Just some people at the bar & maybe a family or two besides us. The nachos came out immediately (considering they were thrown together), we were still waiting for the food after a half hour. I asked our waited when it may come out & he immediately caught an attitude with me saying "we got a big take out order in" and that our food would take about another 15-20 minutes more. At that point, I asked him to cancel our order. This was mostly because we were not expecting to be waiting an hour for 3 sandwiches. I was also not expecting him to catch such an attitude with me, a young girl. He basically said "well I put your order in. I don't know what you want me to do. We have a big order for take out & look around how busy we are." Mind you, there were basically only people at the bar like I mentioned before. The customer service was horrible. Alexa "the bartender" was not attentive in the slightest. Her attention was mostly given to those who were sitting at the bar & not anyone who was sitting in the booths. While trying to get her attention, waiting for to go boxes and even paying for the bill Alexa took shots, playing in her hair, eating from her friends plate etc. The customer service sucked & everything she did in between was unsanitary. Hmmmm idk but that's a bit high for a bar that * may* need more traffic to hit their numbers. Looks as though they have a small following, but a huge variety of patrons, which is a plus. They get an extra star for having a hook on the bathroom door and Quick Draw. It's all about the bartender and her name is Jesse! Perhaps I am biased, but I go in there pretty much only when she is working. I do love the burgers here, but it's the bartender that keeps me coming back. I have to say that everyone wants her attention because she knows how to have a conversation with her all of her customers AND she remembers who was talking about what if she walks away to take care of another customer and then comes back to the previous customer. I ordered to go since i work local in the area. My friend and I ordered sliders with fries and a southwest salad with chicken. The sliders were perfect but they forgot the fries, they definitely charged for them though because the sliders were on the app part of the menu and the fries were additional. The salad was disgusting. The grilled chicken was a small amount and very dry, no flavor at all. The lettuce was rotten (see pictures) if you're going to have salad on the menu, you better be prepared to make one. I was completely skeeved. I got tired of picking through the lettuce and seeing the rotten lettuce touch everything. I threw 3/4 of it in the garbage. Stick to the wings, burgers and beer. read more

Ordered wings for the super bowl and they were horrible. Parmesan garlic had absolutely no flavor, like wings tossed in flour and fried with no seasonings or taste. The others (honey bbq and mild) were also sub par and borderline undercooked. Staff was a hot mess and the owner or manager that we dealt with was a complete creep, unprofessional and plain out rude. I was looking for a local place near my parent's house to use a restaurant.com gift cert, and I am very happy I decided to use it here. I wish I could remeember the name of the waitress because she was very friendly and helpful with the menu and offered great suggestions. I took her suggestion and ordered the French Dip and loved every bite of it. The calamari appetizer we ordered to share was nice as well. I wish they had more choices for dessert, the chocolate cake was ordinary but everyone at the table loved the cheesecake special, too bad I personally do not like cheesecake. My 5 year-old cousin was happy with her chicken fingers. Next time I'm in town I'll bring my husband to try the all you can eat wings and beer special. read more

I have mixed feelings about "Brews Brother Grille." On one hand the burger I got was amazing, on the other the prices are high. I met up with my brother for our usual lunch slash dinner and we walked in. I fell in love with the wooden floors and dark furniture. We were told to grab a seat and we immediately took a booth. Looking over the menu I noticed everything had a up charge. So we didn't really make any modifications to our orders. They took time to serve in between the appetizers and main course. But some of the food was worth the wait. We got twelve wings and only one blue cheese. Adding another was a additional charge. Already I was a bit frustrated by that. We stuck to the one but only got about seven wings with blue cheese. The rest at least had the BBQ sauce on them. The wings weren't anything to talk about so I will move on to the potato skins. The skins were good. They got those perfect. I definitely felt there was plenty of sour cream for the four skins. Last was the burgers. It was nice to see they use one hundred percent ground beef. Only negative I must add is I ordered medium well and my brother asked for his more on the pink side. They actually gave me his burger and he got mine. I didn't want to complain, so I ate it. I did like it a lot so I t wasn't mad. I enjoyed the place enough to come back. But as a sports bar I wouldn't come to watch my Giant. I feel some food on the menu doesn't warrant the prices they charge. It's a sports bar and they should definitely adjust that to keep customers pouring in. read more

Wings rock out in this place, and although i have never been here for the wing and beer specials, you really can't go wrong. 15, or 20 bucks depending on the time you show up after 7PM on a few days a week gets you ALL the wings you can eat and ALL the tap beer you can drink (domestic). Its a steal, literally. I don't really head over here for anything other than the wings and beer, although have had a french onion soup which I was not crazy about (too many spices, which maybe I just never had so was expecting the usual sweet and savory French Onion I grew up on, who knows). Definitely stop in for the wings and beer, you won't be disappointed. read more

Cute little neighborhood spot with a nice sized bar. It's well-decorated and a good spot whether to watch a game or meet up with friends. I haven't tried their food here so I can't speak to that, but bar service was quick and they are fairly on top of checking IDs. I'm reading really good things about their food so I may spring to try stuff next time my group wants to hang out there. Our table was cleared of empty glasses and dishes on a fairly often basis. Wings / Beer / Pub Great little place on Franklin Ave that has, as everyone has mentioned, great wings, a good selection of beers and a fun pub atmosphere. Really in search of something more along the lines of getting some food, I went here with a lovely young thing who was all about the French Onion soup -she wouldn't shut up about it so I had to give it a shot... The place is decently sized and tricked out as a pub, complete with dartboard, but sadly, no pool table. The actual bar area was decently sized and there were plenty of tables throughout. The beer selection was good but not spectacular - to me a "brew house" should not include beers in bottles, unless that particular items does not come in kegs. The taps had some of the better suspects available, but also Miller Light and things of that nature. Decent selection on the food menu and the food was as good as the hype. I actually managed to skip ordering the soup but tasted it from my cohort who ordered. I did get a burger because, well I do not usually eat burgers anymore... this thing was a work of art and came complete with a great pickle and perfectly done fries. $1.50 a topping is a bit on the high side in my opinion, but the options were decent - so maybe it is worth it. Sports bar - yes, undoubtedly. Hang out bar - ok, as long as there's no game on. Quiet place for a date - hell no! Just to chill with the wife - sure. Food - decent; seems fresh, its fast an its tasty. I gave four stars because I like booths and yez, they have booths. Love the wings! Honey BBQ & the Thai are our favorites. All the flavors are great, we've tried them all. Brews Brothers has become our go to wing spot for sure. I'll start by saying I will definitely be back for food and drinks! We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip to start (3 stars) and the wings (5 stars!). For dinner we got the chicken tacos and Mac and cheese. Tacos were awesome although the rice and beans were a little dry. Mac and cheese was really good with a nice breadcrumb topping, just could have used a little more salt. Portions were generous. Service wasn't the best but what do you expect for a local bar? My favorite place for wings and great cold tap beers. They have a special system for cleaning the lines. I never order tap beer anywhere cause I'm always afraid of the lines being dirty. It was my first time eating at Brews Bros Grille and I can say that I'll definitely be back. My friends ordered the wings and burgers, which looked so good that I was drooling over them. I ordered a grilled shrimp salad and we all split a side of fries (regular, sweet potato and cajun). I think the Cajun fries were my favorite! The shrimp was fresh, the service was fast, and they have a great beer and cider menu, including local breweries. I spoke with the owner and they update their beers regularly to give patrons a variety. I will definitely be back for wings and burgers!! read more

Since my last review they have added a Taco night to Wednesday nights. I was here on a Wednesday night (8/17/16) after my flight from Boston. I ordered 5 different types of taco's - all of them were great! - as usual the beer was cold and perfect. [Previous Review] I have been coming here since this restaurant/bar opened and it continues to be one of my favorite places to go for a great burger and even better buffalo wings. Their wing specials nights (Tuesday and Thursday) are so worth it because they do not skimp out on the type of wings they are serving. Its always a great, flavorful buffalo wing. I also love this place for its excellent beer selection. The taps are always fresh and i've never had a "skunky" beer here. On this last visit, we took the family (6 year old and 4 year old) and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The cajun buffalo wings (not on the menu yet, but, you can ask for them), the bavarian pretzel, mozzarella sticks, potato skins and 2 kids meals were out of this world and enough to feed us and bring some home! I will always recommend this place if you're looking for good quality meal at affordable prices, especially if you're a fan of buffalo wings read more

I want to say untrue terrible things about Brews Brothers so it stays under the radar, but I simply enjoyed myself so much I can't speak ill. We almost didn't go in. Its proximity to Hofstra University and the sampling of patrons outside were a good ploy to keep this duo of grown-ups away but we persevered. I'm glad we did. Great draught and bottle beer selection, a bartender who was the right kind of friendly and helpful that is too rare, and a nice distribution of televisions that allowed us to watch the Knicks lose and the Yankees win simultaneously. I didn't eat but I've heard good things. Very happy to have found a "local" that is alive on Sunday evening. Even the kiddies loitering outside were good people after I suspended judgement. While it doesn't necessarily substitute for my favorite "real" beer bars (Rattle n Hum and Bronx Ale House) it's a fine addition, and I'm digging it. read more
