I've been here before for dinner but this was my first time coming for happy hour and honestly it was a nice vibe. They have happy hour Monday through Friday from 5 to 8 and each day they rotate a different drink special. Beer and wine are also included in the $6 specials which is actually a pretty good deal. I went on a Wednesday so the featured drink was the pisco sour and it was delicious. The bartender put a cute little topping/design on the foam which made it feel a little more elevated and not just a basic happy hour drink. It was not overly crowded but there were still a decent amount of people there so it had a nice energy without feeling too loud or packed. A couple of my family members ended up coming too and it worked out well for just sitting, talking, and having drinks after work. Overall definitely a good spot for happy hour if you want something more relaxed with good drinks and a nice atmosphere. read more

Brasas Peru is in my neighborhood and I have occasionally done takeout. Last night I decided to have sit down dinner. We enjoyed the food, It was tasty. The service was great. The waiter was very nice. Unfortunately, so disappointed with the fact that for sit down, they impose a 20% gratuity on your bill with no other option for 15, 18% and the waiter who was really nice very charismatic no complaints about him actually said that if we wanted to give an additional tip that that would be for him, I'm assuming the 20% was pooled for everybody else. I am not opposed on large parties over 6 people, but for smaller parties this is tacky. I encourage you to revise the receipts and have options 15, 18, 20%, open line to add more... Food is very good, for the most part. My wife who is the Spanish food lover was very happy with the salmon, papas and all. Just a couple of things prevent five stars: foremost is the high prices. Also, the cook on the French fries was under and somewhat soggy. I like fries cooked and crispy. It would also be nice if we would know a couple of things: first, that the avacado sauce carries some serious spice; and I would not have ordered fries if I knew they were included with my entree. A little disappointed with the billing, they charge for the ice and they apply the 20% straight on the check, usually in most of the restaurants is for partys of 4 or 6 pp And they suggest a voluntary extra tip to the waiter because the main tip goes to the group or pool tips between everyone working the shift. I'm not sure this is an administrative rule from the owner or a slick way either way from the waiter to squeeze more money from the customer. I didn't get the chance to dine in but while waiting for my food as they prepared it I must say the ambiance is a mixed vibe. It's like a club fitted in a dining room. I did the smart choice by doing takeout. I think the rating would've been effective. Now we get to the food, definitely made with love, the whole Rotisserie Chicken OMG!
