My favorite burger is the Sunny Side Up, which comes with an egg. You can customize your burger to make it as adventurous (or not) as you want it to be. Inside, it is clean, has attentive bartenders and servers, and is usually packed. At peak times there will be a wait, but you can keep yourself entertained with the plethora of tap options. Best food ever! We didn't want to go here because it seemed like a sports bar. We were at the hospital and everyone there, and I mean everyone, recommended going to the Brews Brothers Pub - So we gave in! There is a spot for people like us, who are older and just want to eat good food and have good drinks. Everything they had was homemade including the sauces. I had the garlic butter with onion and pepper. Jack cheese with homemade chips and garlic honey jalapeno sauce. Oh my gosh! Best hamburger ever. The chips were everything I hoped. The service by Sam, who also goes by Graff, was above par. He waited on us without writing anything down, took orders from the next table of six, and then an order from a table of one and remembered every single thing perfectly! And what a nice guy! The place is rather small, which led us to feel, rushed to finish our meal and clear the table for the next family that was waiting. if they have the opportunity to expand into adjacent space, that would be ideal. On a recent trip to Wausau we were looking for a great place to get takeout to take back to our hotel. Yelp led us to this gem and it was amazing. We checked out their menu online and placed our order for takeout over the phone and was told it would be ready in 10-15 minutes. My husband and I way over ordered our food, but was it ever delicious. We shared a full order of the Blue Ribbon Nachos and the full order of the fresh cut fries. For myself I ordered the California burger and he got the Kentucky Bourbon Classic. Everything was amazing. He inhaled his too quickly to get a picture of it, but he thought it was great. I really enjoyed the avocado spread mixed with the roasted red pepper sauce on mine. The Blue Ribbon Nachos probably have pictures on Yelp, but we neglected to look at them. I was surprised that the beer cheese sauce was more like a dip for the chips than it was a topping for them. But it was set up for takeout so I appreciated that our chips weren't soggy when we got back to the hotel. If you're trying to decide between the nachos or the fries go for the nachos. The fries are really good, but the cheese sauce for the nachos is where it's at. read more

Hello All! Still on a quest for an amazing burger. This one was excellent! This was my first time in Brews Brothers. Love the music selection. I was told to seat myself. Rachael greeted me in moments. Service was super fast. I chose the Rajun Cajun burger after I asked Rachael if she thought it was good. I also had a side of their fresh cut fries. I hear the fries are all the rage, with a number of seasonings available. I just had salt (yep booring). The burger was the star here tonight. Pepper jack cheese, Cajun lime sauce and grilled onions. Great toppings, but the burger itself was excellent. They cook all burgers to medium well. I was a bit worried, as I am more a medium-rare person. Perfect seasoning, just the right amount of char. Overall, I do love this place. The food is delicious, they have a good selection of beers, and the staff is amazing. The only reason this did not get more stars is due to the inside / seating. In the summer, this place is very hot inside. Almost like they don't have AC at all, so you're sweating trying to eat your food. It can honestly be miserable at times. And in the winter the door is opened so often and the seating, as it is rather cozy and tables are right next to the door, will leave you wanting for a sweater. Another factor is the fact that there are no menu items for kids. Obviously, this isn't a place geared for children. But it would be nice to have one or two things on the menu for parents looking for a burger and beer but can't go without a kid. However, the food is wonderful. The ingredients taste fresh and not only does the regular menu have a number of different options sure to suit anyone, but the monthly specials are always fun and tasty. I wish some that I've had could be standard on the menu! Overall, I definitely recommend coming here for a nice beer and great food. read more

Yelp to the rescue this beauty popped up first in hamburger search and was less than 2 miles away! Was in luck to grab a covid approved bar stool and quickly greeted with a menu and a request for a drink order! Several delicious beer options and seem to change fairly often. Next came the food options... oh boy!! I took the suggestion of Jalapeño popper burger! Delicious a little messy but I didn't mind. My neighbor gave me the heads up on the cheese curds so got those too. AMAZING golden fried nuggets of goodness! Would totally recommend this place in a heart beat! Been to brews Brothers a few times now, place specializes in hamburgers, and has quite a few beers on tap. Some local. Last time in, I had a Greek Freak burger. It was okay, a bit bland and slightly over-cooked. Feels like if you specialize in burgers you really need to nail the burger. Oh well. The fresh cut fries are great, with a variety of seasoning options (this is pretty cool), the cheese curds are solid, the beer is cold, friendly young wait staff, and there's a nice small outside seating area as well. Been here three times and it gets better every time. Big portions, AMAZING flavor. The burgers are phenomenal. Have had the Jalapeño, the Philly, the Weston and all were perfect. The garlic parm fries (which are house made) pair perfectly with every burger. Tried the Nachos this time and they knocked em outta the park. They also offer a spectrum of great beer. Apologies for the delay on this review. I've been busy! You know you are in the right place when it's hopping at 5:00 on a Wednesday night. We opted for a high top, but shifted to the bar when a single mom and her three kiddos came in. They clearly needed the space. The bartender took our drink orders and shouted in a call for cheese curds, wiping a slight overage off of my wife's glass. When he checked back, he listened to both orders without writing anything in a notebook and simply keyed in our items after he left. The patron to my left leaned over and said, "He NEVER writes it down, no matter how big the table." The cheese curds arrived first with that luscious batter that looks like beer batter rather than the breading found on chicken nuggets. One bite into the first curd, and I knew they did things right at Brews Brothers. The curd was hot and the cheese creamy with a "melty" mouth feel. A near-perfect combination. These tasted fantastic, but for my money, you can get an even BETTER curd at Trailside Bar and Grill in Weston. And don't get me started on the Holy Grail of Cheese curds at the Ruby Owl in downtown Oshkosh. My Five Star amber from Bull Falls Brewery right in Wausau provides the perfect counter to the salty richness of the curds. When the burgers arrived, they were perfect, as usual. At Brews Brothers the menu is simple: burgers and fries. No "chicken burger" ala Red Robin. Just burgers. I ordered the classic cheese burger and added bacon and sautéed onions. The burger was juicy with just the right amount of chew. When you place your order they actually drop a potato into a cutting machine and immediately drop them in the fryer. They arrive tasting like crispy potatoes not potatoes soaked in grease. The combination of a juicy burger and crispy fries makes for a pleasurable food combination. If that was the end of the experience, it would make a great review. You see, I love porters and imperial stouts. Checking the beer menu, Brews Brothers had a barley wine at 13% alcohol and an imperial stout named Uber Joe on tap at 12% alcohol. I tried a sample of the Uber Joe and knew I would have to come back another time to enjoy it. That's when the bartender asked if I wanted a glass. When I told him another time because it was my birthday and we had to see family for cake, he said, "It's your birthday? Well then, your beer is free. You HAVE to have a glass of the Uber Joe." How could I say no? The Uber Joe is a bourbon barrel chocolate stout. Unlike other imperial stouts like this, the bourbon notes stay in the background. In this case, that is by design. Taking the first sip, I immediately though of a strong cold brew coffee. Most imperial stouts are sipping beers. The cold brew notes meant this did not require sipping. I probably finished my beer too fast, but we had to meet family for cake. I definitely noticed the bourbon the next day. Overall, the ambiance, food, and staff made our experience first-rate. I highly recommend that you stop in at Brews Brother if you have the chance. read more

The server "Becca" was very poor! She was accusing a group of young men at a table for trying to skip out for not paying for there bill. One of the boys father was sitting right next to there table and had a few words with her and then had a talk with the manager. This should of never happened as three of the four men were still there (one at the table, two using the bathroom). This was very poor of there server to judge them young men.
