They offer happy hour all day on Sundays, and since they don't take reservations, it's first come, first served. We arrived a little after 2 PM and there was plenty of open seating inside and out. This location is in the Spring District, which is super convenient if you're taking the light rail since it drops you off right there. It's located next to a park like plaza with a small grassy area and little water fountains. According to their website, kids are welcome in the restaurant and patio areas until 8 PM (but not in the bar area), which makes this a nice family friendly spot earlier in the day. Later on, the vibe seems like it would be perfect for catching a game, grabbing drinks with friends, and enjoying a more energetic brewery atmosphere. We started with two Moscow mules. Since that's one of our go to drinks and we've had quite a few, these weren't our absolute favorite here. They leaned more on the lime heavy side, and we weren't sure if the ginger beer was just a little flat. That being said, we still finished them! The Birria nachos were the highlight for me! They were so delicious, and the beer cheese sauce was SO good. I honestly just wished there was more of it because it added such a great flavor. My only small complaint is that I wish the toppings were spread out a little more evenly so every bite had a good mix, but overall they were still really tasty. The Mac Attack was also good, but it didn't completely wow us. If you're looking for an ultra thick, super creamy mac and cheese, this probably isn't that style. With no minimum amount or venue fee (just 20% auto gratuity), Formula was the easy choice to host a large event - plus they have plenty of parking in the back! The drink choices here are phenomenal- they have a large beer selection but they also serve cocktails, lemonade, slushies, and other non-alc drinks making it a family friendly place. My favorite was the Tieton Huckleberry Cider on tap! They also make their sourdough pizza in-house and have vegan options too. Service is fantastic and all bartenders and staff were super friendly and accommodating. They have lots of indoor and outdoor seating with plenty of tables and benches. It was a decent sized sandwich cut in half and quite honestly was one of the best reubens I have had between the quality of meat, flavor of sauer kraut, and crunch of the bread. Not sure I would say it was worth $22, but it's Seattle so that's kind of how it works.
