Stopped by Bellevue Brewing Company on a Sunday and was excited to finally try it, especially after seeing the Birria nachos... I knew I had to try them! They offer happy hour all day on Sundays, and since they don't take reservations, it's first come, first served. We arrived a little after 2 PM and there was plenty of open seating inside and out. This location is in the Spring District, which is super convenient if you're taking the light rail since it drops you off right there. It's located next to a park like plaza with a small grassy area and little water fountains. According to their website, kids are welcome in the restaurant and patio areas until 8 PM (but not in the bar area), which makes this a nice family friendly spot earlier in the day. Later on, the vibe seems like it would be perfect for catching a game, grabbing drinks with friends, and enjoying a more energetic brewery atmosphere. We started with two Moscow mules. Since that's one of our go to drinks and we've had quite a few, these weren't our absolute favorite here. They leaned more on the lime heavy side, and we weren't sure if the ginger beer was just a little flat. That being said, we still finished them! The Birria nachos were the highlight for me! They were so delicious, and the beer cheese sauce was SO good. I honestly just wished there was more of it because it added such a great flavor. My only small complaint is that I wish the toppings were spread out a little more evenly so every bite had a good mix, but overall they were still really tasty. The Mac Attack was also good, but it didn't completely wow us. If you're looking for an ultra thick, super creamy mac and cheese, this probably isn't that style. Still, it was a solid dish and enjoyable! Overall, we had a great first visit and would definitely come back to try more of the menu. Always enjoy my time here! Good food, good drinks, good service! I love that they have great seating options with regular tables, high tops, and outdoor seating. The vibe is always great and it's my favorite patio in summer! It's in a nice quiet area right outside the heart of Bellevue. A good amount of parking as well. Came here to meet my team for lunch. Was confused with where to park at first and went to the wrong parking garage, but did find the correct parking garage, which they do validate. We sat outside, and it was a beautiful day. Nice place to grab a bite and drink outdoors. Our waiter was great. My colleagues enjoyed beers, and I wanted to try a cocktail, but I had two doctor appointments afterwards, and decided best not to. I ordered the Beer Battered Fish and Chips, and they were pretty good. My colleagues got the fish tacos and a burger, and they finished it all. This is a solid brewery with great food and beer options. We met up with a friend after work at Bellevue Brewing and were delighted to see several great food and drink options available. We tried the trio chips and salsa and couple of their beers. We ordered the house made corn chips served with a side house made spicy salsa, guacamole and beer cheese. The chips were nice and hot and generous portions. However, I think they could have been priced cheaper instead of $18. The drink variety was pretty solid and consisted of beers, cocktails, and seltzers. We tried their Lazy Lotus Hazy IPA that had Big notes of lemon rind up front that melded into soft orange sweetness. The finish was a dry herbal bitterness. I love going to local brewpubs and microbreweries when traveling. So when I saw this location of Bellevue's largest microbrewery, my wife and I had to stop in for an early lunch with a sampling of beers. The food and beers were great. As the name states, the very large brewpub is located in the Spring District, inside the park/greenspace. The district used to be an industrial area, that has been transformed into a mixed residential/retail area, centered around the light rail transit station. The brewery makes great use of the outdoor space, with a lot of seating for an impromptu biergarten on nice days. This Tuesday was a typical March day in Seattle, which meant dining inside was a must. We ended up finding street parking a couple of blocks away, though they do have validated parking: in the underground parking right below (with under 10 dedicated spots) and the bigger Spring district Parking garage nearby. Amanda was our server, and she was super friendly, giving us suggestions. They have a large selection of house brewed beers, and we chose eight of the non-IPA ones as two flights, consisting of 4 5oz glasses (assuming it cost $12). We tried the Harvest Boom P.O.G. Wheat (this was our favorite one), Bothell Brown (liked this one), Snake Charmer Irish Red (strangely very mild for a Red), ChugMeister Mazren Lager (my second favorite). Second flight consisted of 1882 Pre-Prohibition Lager (very crisp and light), Muckle Flugga Scotch Ale (really like Scotch Ale in general, though hard to find on the West Coast...thought this version was OK), Schwarzbier Black Lager (different, very mild, really enjoyed), and a Der Kommissar Pilsner (super light with no body). I don't think I've been able to choose two flights of non-IPA in-house beers before...they keep a very large selection here, and it's worth coming to, just for the draft beers. We ordered some bar food that both of us like, and each plate was excellent. Shareable thick cut fries ($11) was very filling, especially since they were fried very well and were sturdy enough for dipping. Got Scotch Ale Chili ($13) and it was hearty, with plenty of pinto beans and good ground beef, with not too much chili powder. It came with housemade tortilla chips, which were thin and excellent. Wanted to try their beef birria, ordered their birria Nachos ($19) and it was really well prepared. Everything was diced into small pieces, used a really good beer cheese sauce and the the fresh guacamole was solid. For a brewpub, it has excellent bar food. The portions were large...we ended up taking about half of it home. Next time, will stay longer and try some of their main course dishes. The room was modern with plenty of windows for natural light. The central bar is huge, but there are plenty of bar tables as well, letting patrons decide how they want to dine/hang. My only complaint was that the payment process was at the table with only a tablet, and gave me no chance to look at the receipt. The total seemed right and was expecting a chance for receipt, but Amanda grabbed the tablet after my tip and signature before I could ask for a digital receipt, and then disappeared. I suppose I could have tracked her down, but getting a receipt after a meal should not be that hard. Can't remember the last time I was out, and couldn't get a receipt easily...would have made this review a bit easier. read more

We went to Bellevue Brewing Company on a weekday for a late dinner. The host was really sweet. The place has ample seating and is great to hang out. However the food wasn't amazing or great. It was decent but also pretty expensive. The Margherita pizza was literally tomato sauce with tiny amounts of cheese and it was disappointing. Great place to grab a beer and socialize! I ended up here fairly early in the morning and wasn't the first one in. Large, clean space with a ton of tables, definitely a great place for get togethers. We were promptly greeted and told we can sit where we'd like. I opted for a flight, server's choice. I really liked all of them and I would absolutely come back just for the beer. For lunch I went with a mac & cheese. It was okay, I guess. Kinda a weird texture, too much butter perhaps? I'd be willing to try something else on the menu, but I don't see myself ordering that again. On the plus side, my lunch partner really, really liked the chili. read more

The pizza was tasty and had a good cheese pull. It was surprisingly bigger than I expected so I thought it was worth the price. Our waitress was very friendly and the out door seating was very nice in the summer except for some wasps that kept hanging around the table. They also have parking validation for the nearby parking lots so that was a huge plus! My group ordered a pitcher of beer that went well with our food! This is definitely my favorite eastside brewery - if not Seattle area brewery in general. Not sure how I haven't posted a review before!? I'm not a huge IPA fan, but they always have something malty or lager-like on the menu, too. Food is, IMHO, solid. Burgers are good, the fish and chips can be greasy but are usually quite good. Wife seems to like the chili and gluten-free pizzas. Staff are always awesome characters with a (fun, good) personality. Usually some game is on the TVs, and depending on time of day/week/year the crowd varies. Go visit. Breweries are closing because the younger generation's drinking less. You don't have to drink a ton, just support a local place with good food, vibe, and drinks (there's plenty of NA things). read more

We really enjoyed our experience at Bellevue Brewing Company. The beer and food were great and it was very family friendly.

Food was honestly bad. Starting with the fish and chips; the fish was just okay, the fries were actually decent, the slaw was also okay. The margherita pizza was SO BAD. It tasted like premade dough crust sold on the shelf at grocery stores, slathered with pizza sauce, with thick slices of fresh tomato each topped with mozzarella and basil and drizzled with olive oil. The pretzel was what you would expect for bar food, not bad. The beer was good! I would definitely come here again for beer and maybe try something else from the menu but the food options we tried were either bad or really mediocre. Service was pretty good, our waiter was really nice but at the end we finished and waited around 20 minutes with no one checking on us so we just got up and paid the tab at the bar with another server. I went here today 7/11/2026 for the Norway and England World Cup game. it was busy, I walked to the bar waiting for bartender and waiter in red tank top pushed me in the back (check the video) and said get out of my way. dude has a clear path, about 3 feet of space to walk around me. stayed for a pitcher of beer and the game but won't be back. service was terrible and the restaurant is dirty, the walls are caked with dust from the blowers. read more

We walked in and advertisement said they have full service and they will come to your table just seat yourself so we picked table outside. We proceeded to listen to their server chit chat with the customers next to us for over 10 mins while we got ignored. The server then walked off without even acknowledging we were there. She comes back and another couple got her attention as they were needing to pay their check. She took their check and didn't leave at that. She then proceeded to chit chat with them. My husband finally had it and went into the building to ask if they serve samplers and where are the servers as we have been waiting. The person he spoke to said he will send someone out right away and he sends the server that just kept chit chatting with everyone. She came over and apologized. She said there were only 2 servers working that day and I wondered to myself then why do you insist when you don't have enough staff to keep chatting people and ignore the other customers? she offered to comp our drinks but at that point I was disgusted and there's no way your business is getting my money. Really beautiful self-seating type joint, great place to visit on a hot day. You can refill your own water which is great. We ordered some salads and drinks. While I can't speak on the drinks, the salads were very fresh and the chicken on them was well-seasoned. First the good parts, the beer I had, a fruity sort of heff (?) or witt, was really good. The part that didn't hold up was the food. My husband and I don't eat meat, so the selection was limited. The only burger option was a black bean patty. Dear restaurants, stop it. Get some Impossible or Beyond burgers. Disgusitng squishy bean burgers are foul, so that wasn't an opton. We instead got a margarita pizza, which was a big disapointment. Maybe the crust comes frozen, it certainly wasn't house made. It was soggy and the whole thing wasn't really hot. We orderd onion rings for the table. They are the style with batter instead of crunchy and they were literally dripping grease. One of us ordered the fish and chips, also with the batter. They were so soggy and unpleasand my friend just tried to get the soggy, greasy batter off so she could just get to the fish. Just east of Bellevue's downtown lies a newer development, which includes some very nice places to grab an adult beverage. In comes Bellevue Brewing Company. It's located in the heart of this working neighborhood among the condos and tech offices. Parking may be a challenge in broad daylight, and I won't imagine what it's like in the evening time. However, once you get past that part, Bellevue Brewing is a very nice place with a very nice atmosphere. There is also a welcoming and generous staff ready to serve you - and give you some nice suggestions. Where the food looked extremely good, the beer looked equally good. The Oatmeal Stout always seems like a winner and there is something for those looking for a good IPA like their Citrus and Imperial selections. So, if you're in the neighborhood, and looking for a brew (and a burger) come to this neighborhoods favorite gasto-pub. read more

I think we were there for about 2.5 hours and only had time for 2 drinks due to the limited check ins because it was so busy. Overall, the tacos were really good. I've been looking for more places to order Birria tacos from and I'd definitely order those again if we come back. We stopped here for lunch on the way to our hotel. The ambience is pure brew pub with outside seating, which is what we did because the weather was perfect. There is street parking, no private lot. We started with the chips trio that came with three dips--guac, salsa, and beer cheese. The wife and I both liked the guac a lot and we both thought the "salsa" was just plain strange. It had the consistency of soup and lacked heat and flavor. I liked the beer cheese but the wife did not like it so much. At $14, it was overpriced and not really worth it. I had the shrimp tacos and they were excellent. Flavors came together and the shrimp were cleaned, which is must for me. The wife had crispy fish tacos (cod) and thought the coating was too thick and overcooked. The kid had a pizza and liked it. We drank Bellevue original IPA and it was excellent, a perfect pairing with tacos. Our server was efficient and professional. Went to the restaurant because we were looking for a meal for our daughter and her friend who was leaving town after a visit. Nothing fancy, just an easy goodbye meal before the airport. My wife had a salad that was supposed to come with avocado. When I tracked down the waitress, she returned with a small plastic cup with an avocado slice in it - OK, I guess. I ordered a salad with dressing on the side. It came dressed - not heavily. The chicken was pretty OK. I inhaled my beer, but was never given another chance at one - too busy, I guess. We asked for validation because we parked two cars in the garage. She brought the tickets back and thanked us for the opportunity for her to serve us - cheerful departure - great. When we went to leave the garage, it charged me $6. I just thought it was the remainder after the validation, but it was apparently the cost to park without validation. I actually called the restaurant and asked them about it. They first suggested I did the ticket wrong, then they said it "glitches" sometimes. At which point he said I should maybe call Diamond Parking and suggested I SHOULD have just stayed in line to work it out there. I gotta say. I you want average food, below average service, the opportunity to pay an additional $12 after your meal to an international parking services company with "glitchy" systems, then BBC is totally the right choice for you. Very beautiful new design for this restaurant that I believe used to be in a different part of Bellevue and was perhaps more divey. This place is solid which includes a large indoor bar/dining area. as well as a giant outdoor seating area that I would assume is seasonal. Service was a little slow as there were maybe 4 tables inside the restaurant but i didn't realize until we left that there was that outdoor area that was packed which our server needed to attend to. I think they only had 2 people working so maybe just add a little bit of staff and you'll be all set. Still had a great experience. Love the restaurant and really loved my spicy chicken sandwich as well. Definitely going back. read more
